Nice entry :-)
Super chill cosy game. Liked the occasional challenges of only so many brush strokes / hammer usage. Great vibey game entry
Solid interesting gameplay. Great job!
Nice and cozy, really enjoyed the audio with the bird chirping! The gameplay was interesting enough to keep me playing for awhile. I would have appreciated more of a puzzle element in this kind of game, but I understand that's not necessarily the intent here. Nice work overall!
@danwhiffing more of a puzzle element... Maybe in the post‑jam version XD. Thank you for feedback!
My Hammer Broke! I was distraught! :D but a lovely entry.
@designernap Thank you for feedback! Can you tell us about your bug with the hammer?
kwetka goat
Oh it wasn't a bug, it just had one hit left when I needed two! It was part of the game that amused me a lot :)
nice game, liked the old man , so cute. And its really relaxing tho
That was a pleasantly zen game and a nice change of pace from some of the other ones. Definitely hit the theme nicely as well.
This is probably just me, but I felt slightly uneasy as the cogwheels didn't perfectly line up. 😅
Great work!
Beautiful game, the interaction was fun and the rules simple. Having some time constrained levels in between added a well felt balance. Figuring out how to treat the clocks with the least financial loss wasn't too obvious, especially with the health points on the gears to consider.
I managed to soft lock myself. Ran out of money and just got stuck with an unfinished clock.
Great job, loved playing it, cool
I really loved the warm feel of Grandpa's workshop and the task of restoring the clocks. It was very satisfying watching those old mechanisms come back to life. What a wonderful, detailed entry!
A nice, relaxing game. Unfortunately, I hit a softlock (I ran out of money). But on my second attempt, I was able to play without any issues.
Cozy atmosphere, and simple but interesting gameplay. FYI, I encountered a bug where the current level suddenly ended, and everything just disappeared.
I smashed with hammer too much and broke my monitor
The GIF of removing the gear, brushing the dirt away and repairing it makes the work easy to follow. I like the warm colours behind the workbench too. Limiting brush strokes and hammer uses sounds like a good way to make each repair need a little thought.
If you have a moment, I'd appreciate a rating on my latest game, [Robot Workshop](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/60/trashfight).
This game is an excellent example of an amazing incremental game! Keep it up!
Cool game ! Congratz ! 👏
Cozy game, this would fit right in on the 3DS alongside the layton games or something.
Money felt like it didn't really matter, as long as you're at least somewhat careful it's hard to really lose money.
The itch.io description says the game's development was AI Assisted, can you clarify which parts of the game were made using AI to get more accurate ratings?
@alchemic The background was created using AI, followed by manual editing to reach the desired quality - removing artifacts and unwanted objects (it is blurred and darkened in-game) - along with the soundtrack (OST). Everything else, including other graphics, sound effects, code, script, and game concept, was not created by AI.
Great game, I really like the atmosphere; it’s quite satisfying, just a bit too repetitive. Congratulations !
The game is really polished ! Sadly I run out of money but I gave it all to grandpa ! I also found a way to get infinite money, I don't know if it was intended ? (The button E changes the clocks and give new dust to clear and earn money from)
Great entry, really enjoyed playing the game :) The dust challenges were the hardest ones tho, as one had to carefully choose where to wipe to get as maximum as possible.
@remink Thank you for your feedback. No, this is the Debug button. it was not intended
cozy and cute game ! (but not a big fan of the blurred AI background) Interesting gameplay !
I love gears and mechanical stuff, so I enjoyed it a lot. Nice and cosy.
This is such a sweet game, well played! The painted village window at dusk, the warm dialogue boxes and the kind grandpa character make everything feel cozy and handcrafted. A truly heartwarming submission!
Pros:
Cozy atmosphere!
Unexpectedly interesting puzzles!
The fact that you can smash everything with your hammer is really fun!
I think the game could go even further with its puzzle mechanics by introducing more interactions between multiple gears. For example, unbreakable gears that can only be moved with the help of other gears!
That could add a whole new layer of depth to the puzzles!
Quality puzzle game, poor guy I broke his clock, I'm guessing you didn't have to clean the all dirt I'm not sure how else you'd pick all the gears off and hammer back in 3.
Enjoyable and well polished, nice art.
The game looks absolutely gorgeous!!! And it's so addictive! Honestly, this is the kind of game I'd happily buy on Steam. My only minor gripe is that I couldn't skip through the dialogue using the spacebar, but other than that, it's fantastic!
Amazing work!
Very sweet game, great idea!
Nice entry! Simple but interesting puzzles. Personally, I’d prefer slightly harder challenges, like a strict money limit per level, or the opposite: a full relax mode with something like 10 identical gears per level. But that’s more of a suggestion for a full version :)
A really cute, addictive game. I've always wanted to tinker with the inner workings, but I was afraid to touch the tiny gears and other mechanisms inside a watch. I'm glad I was able to do that here.
Nice little puzzle game!
I'm impressed, did you really make all of the audio for this?
I wasn't able to finish it because I kept misclicking and ran out of money. Instead of failing, I was just softlocked.
Nice game, a simple yet fun gameplay mechanic (no pun here), nice graphics, amazing music.
Congrats.
