Very fun game with a great atmosphere. Graphics and sounds fit together well. But I wouldn't consider a driving city complex to be old tech. Maybe it's just me though. ^^'

Realy cool game
I love this type of game. really cool vibe to it too. good work!
Really nice autobattler, both mechanically and aesthetically. Love the mood, setting, and color palette.
Building a moving steampunk city out of modules is such a cool idea, and the art is absolutely gorgeous. I get why you opted out of audio, but the music really nails the mood. Got hooked fast, great game!
Extremely impressive game, everything holds together, and visuals are suberb. Music was really cool too, why did you opt-out of audio?
@sevansevan I partially used AI when creating the music, so I decided it would be fair to remove myself from the category. But I put a lot of effort into making it sound the way I wanted, so I’m glad that many people like it.
i think it's too easy? :D early salvage breaks it completely so you have always enough scrap to buy everything. i think more variation and better balancing would be nice also: please add the current hp + max hp to the bar (else i don't know what 15hp healing is haha) and: add a comparison with my currently equipped (or selected? idk) weapon, etc
I wish the targeting was a tad smarter, but I do like a solid auto-battler. Nice
The visual art is beautiful, with a bit of a retro feel, and the music is fantastic! If you’re looking for some games to rate, feel free to check out my profile<3
My first run went so poorly! I only got shields and regen but no weapons!
The mood and graphics are really cool! I think the game deserves to be balanced a bit better, I felt it was pretty easy, but I think it is also pretty easy to make your run impossible to win. I am not really familiar with auto battlers, so I don't really know how to make the mechanic more engaging. But it's a very smooth sailing experience, congrats!
very nice autobattler, was waiting for a third cart to put stuff in, but that never came. Good game and the theme is in audio and everything. At some points the battle functions were not clear but that is not that important.
Nice autobattler, very pleasant colors.
I quite enjoyed that! Would've loved to play more. Another level, with perhaps the option to upgrade to another pair of treads after you beat the boss :) Lovely entry overall!
Great game! it would be nice to have a time-acceleration feature in a future version.
I really appreciate the core idea of building out your city through modular pieces. The combination of that careful crafting process and the open-world feeling of crossing the wastelands makes for a genuinely compelling loop. Keep up the amazing development!
I really liked the presentation and concept, but there was a bit too much waiting and whenever I got to make a decision, it felt like it didn't matter. Holding space to speed up time 3x would go a long way, and for a jam, rather than going with fully random upgrades, make them fixed for the first play through so you can balance things to feel better for the 10-20 minutes most players will stick around for.
Love the music and vibe!
Pretty fun and it was actually pretty relaxing. All the animations were pretty smooth as well.
The idea was pretty cool. It was fun to watch the lasers shoot.
Great game, awesome sfx and track, super vibey. THE ROAD IS CLEAR! Wish there was more content!
Love the pixel art and mood of the of the game. I was kind of surprised there was an end, assumed it would be a infinite scaling situation. Great job!
Really good game! I mean, this is basically a prototype for a much bigger game. I wish it were a bit more challenging, but balancing a game in 48 hours is so hard lol. Nice work!
very nice game! i would be happy if you could check out my game.
This felt like a finished game.. no kinks, no weird stuff, no "how does this work"-moments. Insanely impressed with this. I feel worse and worse with my own effort this time 🤷
The game is great, the style and visuals are very appealing. But it was so easy, or maybe I am just too good.
Great atmosphere, pleasant minimalist palette, nice pixel graphics, soothing background music, a steampunk city rolling the wasteland... what's there not to like? I really wish you continue working on this and keep us updated!
cool game!
I felt the vibe. I am drowned into this world. But player influence is too low
Like the art and implementation. Want more, thanks
a moving steampunk city made of modules is such a strong idea, and the screenshots look gorgeous - the color palette especially. it's wild that this was made in 48 hours. a couple of people questioned whether a driving city counts as old tech, but honestly the vibe carries it. how did you handle the autobattler balance with so many modules? did you have a favorite build during testing?
The game is short but great! At first glance, you just see colored pixels, but the game is very atmospheric.
The music was chill but didn't really fit with the 8bit sounds. Had a strong atmosphere though. Good work!
Nice little game, the pixel art and the music give a strong mood. I beat it on my first try, dont know if it's because I made the right choices or if the game is easy, but I had a fun time. Solid entry!
Such a cool awesome game! Moody, and great graphics!
Bro, that was fun to play! I wish there were more levels. Maybe a round 2.
Really fun and satisfying game loop here! Amazing work!
Maybe a bit too easy, besides that everything is extremely good ! Well done ! It somehow remind me a bit of FTL
The game felt really polished even though the balancing was a bit off. The soundscape was satisfying and made the already cool steampunky world into an even more enjoyable experience.
Genuinely spectacular idea and very impressive overall. I loved how you made it an auto battler. The parts of the machine were a bit hard to tell as "part of a city" and looked more like a vehicle, but I understand the limitations with the time constraints. Also the small pauses were a bit slow, but nothing that diminished the value of the experience. Great job!
@perrarancino Hi! Thank you for playing! I think the balance wasn’t perfect, but it’s acceptable. I basically balanced it by eye, and it worked without a complex mathematical model, since the enemy encounters in the game are fixed.
My favorite part of the balance is probably the battle with the monster that has a big gun. It’s not very obvious, but the easiest way to beat it is to buy shields. Or a lot of speed. I deliberately made it the way it is, trying to make the player use something other than guns.
The Harvestor module can be considered unbalanced. I just didn’t have time to refine it. It would have been better to make the chance of obtaining Scrap Metal per turn, rather than the amount.
Sorry if the answer is a bit awkward; English isn’t my main language.
Not really a fan of idle games, but this one is actually pretty fun! The graphics look great, and I'm impressed by how much gameplay you managed to pack into such a short development time. Really cool work!
Great game, nice polish. I love anything around moving cities.
While moody there can be quite long transitions between scenes and early on the repair and shops seemed more frequent than nessisary. To help the desolate wasteland vibe it would be cool if instead of a shop you'd scavenge parts from enemies.
