The exploration vibes were spot on and the meta humor was very enjoyable,, nice entry!
This was quite nice and fun to play! I could definitely see it being a full game if more content/story was added.
This be fun -- figuring out the way to the final summon was a great experience and felt good! There was a couple issues here and there, such as with holding the vials and then moving over an item felt janky or the book not remembering your spot. However, this was a really fun entry!!
Nice simple game! The controls could be polished a more and the art leaves a bit to be desired, but overall its quite nice. One major issue I had was that the blue + red health bars cover the most of the left track at higher resolutions,, still got that Papa Nacho before realising it wasnt intentional...
Interesting concept, but the randomness makes it feel more antagonising than strategic / skill based. The shapes having an order of summon might solve this with its predictive nature -- making it more of a challenge against the physics whereby the points are more integral to the game loop and the harder shapes propose a high risk & high reward type deal.
Cute and fun toy! Love the 'Dust bunny' approach. The art style and quality as well as the googly eyes are a amazing. Great work!!
Great art, fun synergies, and nice take on the idea,, but the user interface gets very confusing at times and its hard to tell whats really going on. Great work nonetheless!
Was fun to play and has quite the potential! Great entry and nice work!!
The game and visual polish is very nice. Nice work!
Simple fun. I could totally multiple ways you could take and further this game too,, Nice work!
Love a good rogueli(k/t)e! I can see a lot of potential with this base concept,, Great work!
Nice platformer! The game feels a little bit incomplete and collisions have a lack of feedback from what I could tell -- but the gameplay was fun, the art was great, and the menus felt nice and polished. Great entry and nice work!!
Really love how you approached the theme by turning cellular automata into a game. Good stuff!
Game looks and feels great! Super fun and polished submission!! The only thing I ask for is more. Great work!
This was a super polished experience,, nice work!
Maybe a bit less information at the start and bit more player feedback would go a long way for this but the art is very nice,, good job!
This was really cute and put together really well! It's always nice see another one of your entries,, nicely done!
The gameplay is fun, the art is amazing, and I'm impressed with the large world,, great work!!
I found myself super immersed in this! All the little things really make this game work so well,, really great work!
This is one of the coolest and most intricate games I've seen so far! It's a really good show of a cool mechanic thing,, However, ignoring the obviously jarring UI, the prices seem a bit harsh for a prototype and the underlying gameplay feels like it conflicts with how this wants to be played,, it feels like its waiting for you (which is kinda burdensome with this style of mechanic I think)! Something like an idle/incremental game with automatic repeating battle based on the items + runes earning you the funds so that you can focus your time on the rune-smithing aspect! Really cool nonetheless, good job!
Funny dialogue, nice!
Really good sokoban! The core mechanic is really fun and interesting,, great work!
Perfectly set the mood! Great work!
Good and satisfying core game loop! Nice work!
Some really nice and interesting puzzles in here! Good work!
Nice and chill experience, good work!
Hella cool! This art and crunchy style of game are great, nicely done!
Had a great time playing this one! The loop is fun and the art is especially clean, nice job!
Thank you all for the kind words, I'm glad you a lot of you enjoyed the game!! (It took me a bit to realise I can respond here... lol)
@ditam Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed this so much!
@electric-sun The out of bounds check became super needed during development hehe,, so I'm glad you got some use out of it lol
@mrdumpling Thank you thank you! :)
@morepixels @mikita-gancharou @dominosxpizza @fullbuff The person who normally does the audio didn't have too much time for this one so we couldn't get any audio in, apologies! Thank you all for liking the game still!!
@solvenoff Spin to win hehe :p -- thank you!
@johncast123 Placement control is definitely a common point of contention with this prototype -- but thank you so muchhhh <3
Extra little thanks here,, I appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you (hopefully) liked and enjoyed it!! @rhewid @grizwhirl @yiwai @pro4 @dualithe @semenchk @naru
@baturinsky oo thats an interesting way to take it! I think the connect-on-contact might remove the whole 'holding/piecing yourself together' vibe that I've really come to like during enemy encounters -- but sounds like its definitely worth experimenting with, thank you!!
@ava-skoog It sounds like you re-encountered all the weird design thingies we were facing while making it and then some, hehe,, thank you for all the thoughts and I'm glad you found it interesting!! :)
This was phenomenal! I was completely absorbed in the game and found it hilarious,, I really wish there was more!! Amazing work!
This was fun and looks great! Really well done! (...played for longer than I was planning to)
Love the concept! The experience was really immersive with strong story, music, and phenomenal art,, hand a great time! Amazing work!
I really enjoyed playing this! The core loop could be improved some but I think this game has a lot potential,, great job!!
Nailed the atmosphere and 'off' vibe, nice job!
Playing this was fun! Felt a little janky but great work!
Beautifully weird and fun,, amazing work!
Honestly was super fun to play, hella polished, and I especially enjoyed the Taito vibes,, amazing work!!
(As a fan of the SNKRX-likes) This is really good! Leading with a signal is so simple but works so well,, amazing work!
This was insanely good,, I honestly have no complaints as I was smiling the whole time,, great game and amazing work!! (more please and thank you~~)
As soon as I realised what the 4 lights meant everything clicked -- amazing game, great interpretation of the theme, nice job!
Really nice and enjoyable little game loop here, nice job!
I had a good time tuning the signal with this one! But I did totally hard lock myself by sending things into space for the silly asteroid animation xd,, nice work
Really nice art but I felt the game felt a bit slow in places,, nice work!
Heya @ava-skoog,, this game is definitely in a bit of a buggy & unfinished state~~ The original idea behind this was to have more of a strategical battle where you have to try to survive through the dungeon as best you can (kinda Slay The Spire-y?) and throw away you host at the cost of your items and influence gauge (right click on items to fill -- hard enemies cost more to switch to etc),, but we definitely got a bit lost along the way! Theres simply a lot of state tracking stuff that just did not work out in the end (as evidenced by items disappearing, which is definitely not intentional!) ~~ and the "switching hosts or bust" strategy is more or less just the emergent strategy from the way the game currently is.
Thanks for checking it out though!!
@ava-skoog Hehe thanks for playing and approaching it with such an open view! For this game I kinda ragtag'd together a team of people I knew / met at in-person gamedev events so it was more of a spontaneous thing,, I could definitely see this game getting some much needed cleanup (especially with conveying the information to the user) but I believe it's currently a bit of a busier month so that may have to go on the back burner for now,,
We'll definitely be around for the next LD at least, hope to see you again then!
This was so well put together and the concept was great,, amazing job!
I really like how you turned signal processing techniques into game-format -- really unique,, great work!!
Super cute!!! It feels so simple yet so creative,, nice!
I didn't expect to find myself getting into this but, after slowly piecing/guessing things together for 10 minutes and letting the story unravel, I was hooked,, amazing work!
Felt a little bit unbalanced,, but I loved the art/humour and had so much fun playing with getting the signals just right!! Amazing work!
The art and humour behind this are sooooo goood!! It took me a hot second to realize I could use the feed on the right to help deduce,,, very cute game, great job!
The lack of saving with checkpoints was a little disheartening, nice work!
