There's something very satisfying about growing up a huge army of skeletons and terraforming the land around you! But I felt like there should be something more to the game - from what I saw, digging and expanding was the only thing to do

I see a guy made of flowers! Unfortunately the game is slowing way down now that I'm getting further into it. It's intriguing though.

Had to get the hang of things first, then had a wonderful time raising my army of undead gardeners. 10/10. Would play again.

Had fun playing this one, and will continue to play and explore. Really like the summon system and the sandbox-y feel to the game. It would be nice to able to destroy buildings that you've placed. Great job on this one! :)

Exploring the world was a lot of fun, though I raised too many skeletons... I wasn't sure what to do after exploring, so I mined all the resources... but didn't figure out if there was an end (although the screen went tinted green at some point?) The simple graphics really work. Thanks!

Took me a second to figure out what i have to do  i really like the sprites and building up an army of skeletons is quite satisfying

Cool idea. I was unsure of anything else i was supposed to do other than expanding my skeletion empire. I didn't exapnd to the edge of the map but i'd say i was close. I did not see an easter egg. I saw mines. At first i thought maybe the mines were the easter eggs because the first ones i encountered were the only ones until i removed several more rows from each side. Still had fun playing. Was i supposed to do something with the summoning circle in the middle. Kept trying to use the scout there but that didnt work. Good game though, i enjoyed it.

A satisfying little unit management game, it plays well into the theme and seeing things grow and expand is inherently fun. I also love the little sounds that play when each task is complete. The game could use a little tutorial at the start since I was a bit confused about what to do at first, but that didn't deter me from enjoying it either way!

Cool! Got some dwarf fortress and dungeon keeper vibes. Had some fun exploring even though there wasn't too much of direction. Found some orbs out there but not sure what they did (or if they were the easter eggs?). Got a bit laggy after a while and exploration got a bit more difficult. Not sure if there are ways to remove stuff you build because towards the end I wanted my dudes to stop gathering things and just explore more. Art is nice and fitting!

SUch a cool game I was thinking how I liked the FOG of war effect. I wasn't even thinking of finding something more. I like the feeling of exploring in this game. Well done!

pickydogfish 2024-04-23 10:48

Great execution, the game feels nice to play, growing a colony is fun and exploration is fun because of the fog of war. It is however lacking content to have more depth, maybe enemies to fight or more interesting things to find. But a game jam is very limiting in terms of the amount you can make, so amazing job! Wish it didn't become laggy after you have a small army of skellies tho

It’s really impressive for a jam game. Game play is satisfying which can make the player keep on. At least i couldnt stop for a while. With some environmental challenge or at least a resource sink but building, could make it much more engaging. Excellent job!
