LD55 — Summoning

Cosmic Misadventures by vidarn 2024-05-04T23:04:52Z

Love this! Super cute, loved the graphics and the sound effects. Really great entry!

Cool reverse-td, you have the start of something cool, its a genre I really like seeing since I first saw it in the flash game Villainous years ago. It would be nice to have some more quality of life in the visuals, like tower ranges and tower stats; how am I meant to prepare to fight something if I don't know what it does? The creature balance seemed very off, I just spammed mad monkeys and had no problems. I cant see any reason to use any of the other creatures because they all have inferior stats from what I could tell. The text on the "creature queue" under the creature select was really hard to see, I had a bunch of mad monkeys but could barely read how many, perhaps move the number to underneath rather than overlaying the text on the image? Also removing anything didn't properly remove them visually from the queue until I added that creature again. The OK button which starts the wave is activated when you spend some money to make sure you have a creature when it goes, however if you remove all your creatures it doesnt turn back off, so you can add a creature -> remove a creature -> press ok and get soft-locked. Finally, I can see that you had intended to add modifier buttons, how would they work? If they apply to all of a creature, or if they are permanent upgrades, does that not encourage the player to just spam one creature and upgrade it a lot?

The Evil Eye by Timur_Bahadir 2024-04-15T23:13:34Z

Really enjoyed the ramp up with each wave, however the red circles on the ground were difficult to see and the gun felt like it fired a bit slowly on the left click attack but I had a lot of fun. I quite liked the start where you walk up to the book and interact with it, it lets the player feel the controls before starting the fight and makes it feel like a proper boss fight!

Arise, QWERT! by niterich 2024-04-16T00:11:16Z

Really really unique concept, I dont know if i was unlucky but i would have loved to see even more different patterns. Lots of ways you could take this further!!

I found my brother's old cartridge! by Jesse J. Jones 2024-04-16T00:20:13Z

This is one of the games of all time. When are you releasing turdle plushies?

Well this was absolutely hypnotising. Is this part of an ARG or something with that morse code at the end? its all very mysterious. I was absolutely sucked in all game, it was visually and audibly great!

bergs by burnttoastdev 2024-04-16T14:34:50Z

Very cool idea, great puzzle game. Id maybe have given 3 different summon buttons, 1 for each size of berg to give the player a bit more control. It reminds me of a flash game I played a very long time ago where you had a number of animals and you could make them jump into spikes and such to make way for the other animals (I cant find it or the name D:). Novel concept, good puzzles, it only needs more content and a little bit of polish for the user IMO!

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

PLEASE, GNOMORE by CyTheRabbit 2024-10-23T18:39:02Z

Really Gnomey game, I love the audio, but i do wish i could walk through the other gnomes though, they kinda got in the way

Hamster Hamilton's Cardboard Quest by Yaen 2024-10-23T18:32:36Z

I want to pet him but my hand cant pass through my screen >:(

Vi and the Fairies by Monado 2024-10-23T18:57:53Z

Its pretty cool but my god the camera feels awful with the spinning and it trying to rotate when you move diagonally. Very big fan of 3D metroidvanias though so keep up the good work.

Crab Game 3: Shell on Earth by crispybacon 2024-10-23T18:16:07Z

I like the idea of doing a tower defense while also managing a restaurant. I think some of the text in game could be a bit clearer, and it could really do with a cooking tutorial. I had no idea how to use the jar to pickle things. The line reads were quite charming and I like the guys hats

Close your eyes by Mateo Avventuriero 2024-10-23T18:42:51Z

I really like how the little guys look, but I also can't look at them without losing which feels a bit counter intuitive

Managed to get 290 by pointing down as best i could 👍👍

I had a lot of fun beating this! The crabs are adorable!

Theres lots of room to keep going with this and I hope you do. I would recommend getting a free build onto itch (or whichever shopfront you choose) and also putting it on IncrementalDB to generate some traffic (it will probably end up on there eventually anyways)

The metal detector sometimes feels like it doesnt hit everything im dragging it over, I really want to be able to go mad and wiggle it crazily on the beach.

Would love to see more content, such as prestiges, the beach zooming out, or any other fun mechanics you have cooking. Maybe you could involve the ocean in some way?

Mycosignal by LogovoStudio 2026-04-21T19:09:36Z

drugs be wildin.

In terms of gameplay, I think it would have been better to have the notes and colours match to be consistent? One colour being different notes was very confusing. It feels like the

Following the spores made plenty of sense however I would reconsider some of the paths that the spores take, I lost them a couple of times and had to trust my gut on.

The inclusion of the house was a bit strange as I didnt see a way to interact with it, despite it looking like there was something to do there.

The jokes were hilarious tho, which is clearly what you were aiming for.

Bad Advisors by Yoav Kagan 2026-04-21T18:41:15Z

Really enjoyed this one, the different characters were very whimsical and distinct. The chinese-whispers style puzzle was really interesting to see. I had lots of laugh out loud moments when figuring out the answers, so really great job with the puzzles! I would have loved for the animation of the chinese-whispers to be sped up a little bit as I found myself wanting to get on with the game a bit.

I was a bit confused on the final puzzle, I am sure I got the answer right but the giant grabbed the king anyway? I would have appreciated a bit more feedback that I got the answers correct along with a win screen. (I just checked and the feedback for getting something incorrect is good and clear, but the feedback for getting something correct wasnt)

Anyways this was a great entry that was super intuitive to play, nice work!

Harmonic by Whiteowl4399 2026-04-21T19:18:07Z

Really cool game! I would love to see some weirder card effects, like turning from a regular sine wave to a square wave
