While short, the game is really good. The art is amazing, the sound is on point and the story is funny. Great job!

Game looks great, too bad I can't play it as I'm not on windows.
@phobos I think a web version would be preferable in general for everybody in the jam, but a linux build would be nice as well
The concept of the game is very fun and I liked the doodles on the wall. The movement felt a bit weird at first, until I understood what was going on
The art style is super cute and I loved how each "power-up" came with its own challenge (I especially liked the flying). The level design is also good. Pushing the boxes felt a bit too slow, so I would've really liked it if I could've nudged them further by dashing into them. Other than that, good job!
Fun concept, which I would like to see expanded. For example, letting the player have more control over how the attached parts are rotated. For me, the challenge came from the moment and controls, rather than enemy difficulty, which can be a good or a bad thing depending on what you wanted.
Really cute game with lovely graphics. I enjoyed combining the weird ingredients to create even weirder dishes! I kind of struggled with what was interactable at first, an outline or a glow of some sort would have helped
The photo looks interesting, but there doesn't seem to be any game published on the itch page. A shame
Some of the art is nice, and the overlap between the detailed art and the simple, less detailed background makes for interesting visuals, but the gameplay is seems overly simplistic and the movement too linear.
Hey @zabrat thanks for the kind words! We'd rather not share the source code, but we can talk implementation any time if you have any questions
@ckane144 Thank you! Yes, our artist made all of the assets during the jam!
@mrjasperdr Thanks! I agree with your feedback but we noticed only after the jam has ended. We'll see about fixing this.
@phobos Thanks and sorry about the controls, it's a bit complicated when you have so many but we'll try addressing this
I really liked the mood this game set and how it tied in together with the general theme of wildfires in today's society. Great stuff, keep it up!
First of all, congrats on making a game and publishing it during the jam! While the game sounds very interesting, I struggle to understand how or what exactly I'm supposed to collect and combine. Some tutorial, even if text in the post, would help a lot here. Another thing I had a hard time with was the inconsistent movement speed. The game should preserve the player's momentum when they jump, not slow them down. Lastly, I'd love to see the platforms moving the player as well. It feels very slippery the way they currently just move away.
The art is really good and the game feels very polished, but as others have said, the game overloads you with too much info at a time, and I don't think more text would solve this. The concept is really fun, but I think you'd need to introduce the player little by little to all of the mechanics.
