A good and enjoyable game. Nice pixel art style — took a little getting used to, but I liked it. The background music is great. I collected all the regular Morphid, but only managed to get one rare one during my playthrough. Thumbs up!
2 hours of grinding, 100% completion :3 love the concept super cute artwork my fav is mufflinshiny.pngshiny2.png
The merging mechanic is an interesting addition to the monster catching mechanic as it solves the problem other games of this genre has, which is what to do with dupplicates monster you caught. The art is amazing and the music too, it makes for a relaxing experience. It's unfortunate that the catching relies on spam clicking, but It makes sense in the context of this jam. Great idea and excellent execution!
Solid game with a lovely artstyle! One thing that really bugged me that would be such an easy fix is how vertical movement completely negates horizontal movement. It feels very odd to press W + D and only move up!
I PLAYED THIS FOR OVER AN HOUR.
I don't think I really need to say more. Great concept and execution. Stellar visuals.
I very like this game. i play this more then 1 hour. thats pretty cool
This game is incredible, I love the monsters they are cute and we'll designed. Great mechanic and it makes me wanna play more and more!
Nintendo gonna come for that patent XD. Really cute game, loved the art of it. It was fun collecting the morphids and the varity was quite cool for such a short timeframe ^^. An exit button would have been nice though XD
Thanks for playing our humble effort :) I just had a quick run and thoroughly enjoyed it. Now if youll excuse me I've gotta go back to vibe some more with the art and audio <3
This was fun and looks great! Really well done! (...played for longer than I was planning to)
@sillycat2003 Ooo nicely done 100%-ing the game! we're curious what was your highest merge level was?

@jawdan Hahah, thankyou for investing the time into our game, very much appreciated!
thank you for this game, made me smile, pixel art is so adorable!!
Wow, this game is extremely polished! Only thing that might be a bug or just unexpected by me was that opening the archive automatically opened the inventory in the background. Great job!
Screenshot 2025-10-07 at 13.13.12.pngThis is an incredibly polished and streamlined experience for a LD game, I actually really like that the game just drops you in without much exposition. I was a little confused by the apexion monster at first, I thought I could catch it but eventually it clicked that I was supposed to walk in the grass. I don't think you necessarily need more tutorial or anything, but I'm also the kind of player that likes that kind of "whoa wtf is that moment" when you encounter something too hard for your level so I dunno
I love all the little sound effects and screen transitions. That transition to night, with the downtempo music, such chill vibes. And the pixel art is soo cute!! I'm a sucker for a good merge your things into more powerful things gimmick, this was a very fun proof of concept! And I love that you added a shiny mechanic xD
Not sure if ya'll plan to continue working on it and these are maybe obvious suggestions but the main thing I would like to see as a player would be more world to explore, some secrets to find, maybe some quests, etc (maybe there already are these things and I wasn't skilled enough to find them!!) Oh and maybe offer an auto battle mode or something? My wrist hurts from clicking too fast and I didn't want to make an auto clicker because it felt like cheating ;_;
but yeah, awesome submission! Your team should be super proud this feels very polished overall. Great game feel
p.s. I tried forever to get a shiny Apexian ;_;
This game was super fun ! Although I might be getting carpal tunnel
Excellent !! Art, music and sound design are just perfect for a jam game. So much details ! I'm only a bit frustrated by the walk speed, I wish we could sprint or move a little faster ! Also be able to skip animations because after some time it's a bit repetitive !
Congrats ! Really good job.
Very cool! Love the click to fight concept but my wrists kinda hurt after a few minutes :skull:
What good ideas in this game, what you have achieved is really very interesting, well done to you
@lrdjj my highest level was a lvl 20 Mufflin. My first play through my goal was to capture Apexian, then I deleted all of my morphids (including my already collected shiny ones) and restarted for my shiny hunt! I don't know why I chose to do it this way, I think it was to focus on my objective on a clean slate? haha
Thank you for bringing your game to the stream! You all built many systems in a short time, with a cute art style and well functioning mechanics.
Given more time, I think making UI elements clickable plus a touch control for moving would be a nice way to minimally support mobile user controls. A setting to turn off flash and shake of battle would be nice too in case users feel overwhelmed by it.
The location of a floating island and a day night cycle adds a lot. It gave me things to ponder while figuring out my strategy of what monsters I could catch without strain, versus had to catch because it takes too long for them to run away. Overall great teamwork in making this fun game.
Wow, this game is so polished for a game jam! I really enjoyed playing it. I liked the combat system, simple but effective. Also, I love the art. Congratulations on the great work!
Really interesting mechanics and super cute creatures! Maybe allowing the protagonist to walk in diagonals would make the game even smoother?
Super fleshed out and polished game you got here! Definitely nailed the theme (this could easily have worked for 'night is coming' too). Very cute creature design, just don't let Nintendo see this 😉
Very early on I was a little confused about the merging mechanic. I didn't realize they had to be the same level *and* type* until I went back and re-read the game page. I think I also died 4 or 5 times before catching my first morphid because I didn't know you were supposed to **smash** the fight button 😂 I was just clicking it once thinking a selection screen would show up.
But hey, super solid entry! Great design, art, audio, the works. Managed to snag the shiny Apexion and get a morphid up to lvl 14 so I ended up playing for quite a bit 😎
My poor touchpad) I've really enjoyed playing this game! Graphics is very nice and the whole experience feels very consistent
I really like the animation and the characters/objects in 2D design, all the best)
This game is so adorable!! I really like
Really neat game! Always love a good creature catcher! Though I have to mention I found the walking between encounters to be a bit dis-engaging for me. If it were me, things I'd look into tweaking are walk speed, walk animation, distance between grass patches, sound effects, and bgm
I really appreciated the simple combat. Really intuitive and easy to understand, plus I assume fairly easy to implement so a great choice for a jam game. Also really like having the Apexian put right in front of us from the start. The "aha" moment when it utterly destroyed me and having the goal of eventually catching it was a really solid design choice.
Overall great entry, had fun grinding up to catch the Apexian!
Great game! I really enjoyed the characters)
