The sheer comedy of my cluster of space junk spinning off as it gets pummeled by asteroids is a delight. Fun stuff, though I'm not sure I fully got ship assembly under my fingers in the few times I did it. Regardless, very cool.

Gimme Drive by caeonosphere 2025-10-07T03:31:15Z

This is a devious little puzzler. Gameplay didn't click for me until I shifted the camera into an overhead perspective to see the grid better, and then I got a lot of what I didn't understand at the start. Otherwise, this is a great collection of brain teasers. Great work!

Lil'Jones 2: The Collector's Tomb by SolidHinken 2025-10-08T04:16:21Z

Really like where this is going. I agree with some of the other commentors that additional challenges would make for a more interesting experience as it progresses, giving more challenge to dividing the attention of the player between the path and the backpack. The controls are smart, keeping each hand busy with the two sides of the area of play, and the visuals are spot on. Very cool game!

Rune Rangers by Taximan981 2025-10-07T03:21:39Z

I did find a shiny!

Alright, before I say anything critical, I just want to say that I would lose hours playing an expanded version of this concept.

The art is spot on, the music is fine, but the core gameplay loop is wonderful. I do think that it could offer a bit more friction during the selection time.

That's all I can say though. Fantastic work.

Klunk's Adventure by stephenwhoskins 2025-10-07T04:14:15Z

I just did the GB Jam over on Itch before this jam, and I didn't expect that I was going to see a four color platformer here. But here it is, stellar and fun and visually delightful. Brilliant work!

Galactic Data Collector by Gat 2025-10-07T03:53:41Z

Stellar visuals and a great take on Papers Please bureaucracy-em-up play. I love it.

Gotta Cat 'em All by HolySparks 2025-10-08T03:59:04Z

Very cozy game and wonderful cat sprites. Great work.

Artifact Hunter by Jhonny111 2025-10-08T04:25:37Z

Interesting start to a fun little shooter. It did take me a bit of adjustment to get used to aiming. The amount of drag on the weapons moving to line up with the reticle is an interesting touch, gives the game some friction. Good stuff. I will say that I ran into an issue upon trying to upgrade my weapon where once I bought an upgrade, the ship wouldn't fire any longer. Not sure if it was a mistake I made or if it was a bug, but I figure it would be best to bring it up here. Great work!

Frost Forager by Caleb Kim 2025-10-07T03:59:30Z

Beautiful visuals and a reason to fear seals. What more could I ask for?

Out Of Energy by Custodi 2025-10-08T03:47:31Z

A neat little excursion. I managed to finish the final level, wondering on some level if I was doing well or if the lasers that were beating me down weren't doing much to my bot. Regardless, good job!

Oscar the Trash Panda by Radjax 2025-10-08T04:31:04Z

This a tasty little arcade snack, and I'm glad to have played another raccoon game! Fun, great visuals, the best kind of absurd sound effects, and a challenging gameplay loop. Great work.

Slime Dash by Synapse316 2025-10-07T04:05:15Z

Nice little platformer. The randomization of power ups keeps the replays fun, and moving the little slime guy around feels pretty great. Nice and juicy animation too. Very cool.

Merge! Merge! by LRDJJ 2025-10-07T04:46:46Z

I PLAYED THIS FOR OVER AN HOUR.

I don't think I really need to say more. Great concept and execution. Stellar visuals.

Alex's Taxes by ExMachina 2025-10-07T03:39:47Z

Going to limit my comments to the visuals - they're wonderful. I didn't get to play anything after the tutorial, as the game crashed each time I hit the level transition. Regardless, congrats on what you've done here. This is mighty impressive for your first jam!

Raccoon Captain: Cosmic Feast by Ruolin Zhao 2025-10-07T03:02:57Z

Ahhh, my beloved trash panda...

First, hats off to your artists - this game is visually delightful. The aliens are all fun and weird in the right ways. Sound effects for eating are spot on. A fine little snack of a game. Great work!

SKYHAND by GlassMoonGames 2025-10-06T19:58:29Z

Thank you so much! I added the link as suggested.

As for framework...I may be misunderstanding the question as I am 200% out of my depth about all of this. The game was made in Game Maker Studio 2, with most of the art assets being drawn there. I used GIMP to do the splash images for the backgrounds. Two of the sound effects were made with a little Korg Volca synth, and the rest were done in FL Studio, along with the music.

SKYHAND by GlassMoonGames 2025-10-07T05:47:21Z

@snowfalleagle Shoot at the houses first. That kicks off the humans.

SKYHAND by GlassMoonGames 2025-10-07T10:50:50Z

Definitely sounds like I need to update the description to clear up how to play. Apologies for the lack of clarity.

SKYHAND by GlassMoonGames 2025-10-11T16:57:53Z

@david-sheffield it looks like I’m still having formatting issues with the description. That’s what I get for editing on my phone.

The houses have to be shot to trigger humans running out of them. It allows you to decide when to shoot the houses and also encourages fire control when between the houses, lest the little humans escape.

2D Plataformer Coin Collector by Zitt 2025-10-07T03:46:39Z

"That jump" is indeed hard.

Regardless, cheers for the first time doing a jam, and congrats on crossing the finish line. This is a nice little effort. The jazzy music is pretty relaxing for a game where I burned a man alive in lava four times!
