The game and art are very interesting, but I'm a bit confused when I find that the identity of this person is incorrect, how should I submit or point out the error? It seems that I can only exit?

myheadmess 2025-10-06 20:15

Very nice !

2025-10-06 20:16

Creepy. Sometime I forgot to check room number, but it's fun anyway, creepily fun after I press exit button.

gat 2025-10-06 20:26

@maxineY yeah the examine function is a little obtuse, you're supposed to select the examine tool and select the information that is incorrect and then select other information that is mismatched, (example: The form is has a past expiration date, click the examine tool, click on the expiration date, and then click on the clock with current date, this will prompt the character to question the subject about the information)

maxiney 2025-10-06 20:30

@gat Ahh I see! My English is not very good so maybe I missed something in the tutorials. I'll play again. Thank you for your explanation!

ulziton 2025-10-06 20:31

good take on theme, like this one

thingus 2025-10-06 20:48

Spacers, please - enjoyed this. Really liked the spacy sax music in the backdrop

Stellar visuals and a great take on Papers Please bureaucracy-em-up play. I love it.

ira-baciu 2025-10-07 13:35

I like this kind of games

aleksey-salion 2025-10-07 13:40

Love the sounds

yarkin 2025-10-07 15:29

Tried 15-20 game randomly, so far this is the most fun one for me. Played like 20mins.

solidhinken 2025-10-07 17:51

Nice little Paper's Please inspired game! Great job!

khamekaze 2025-10-07 17:53

Loved every second of this, replayed it 10 times at least! By the way there is a typo on the species page (Glamflom instead of Glomflam) which made me lose a life πŸ˜…

gat 2025-10-07 18:00

@khamekaze Yea I definitely should have caught that... But thanks for playing!

nadan 2025-10-07 18:14

So basically Papers, Please in space? :D Nice! It’s hard to rate since Papers, Please is such a classic, and this clearly draws a lot from it. But you pulled it off well, so props for that!

wuppos 2025-10-07 18:32

Super impressive that you made a game inspired by papers please in a weekend :O It also plays really well! At first I was a bit confused, since I did not realize that there could be multiple problems with a persons information and that you had to indicate it all. That is a very minor point though, I had a lot of fun playing. The art was also really well done. Great job! :D

rise12600 2025-10-07 19:18

I've played a lot of papers, please, one of the first games I got on Steam, so I did quite well on this art is amazing, the idea is very solid, and game gameplay is fun and engaging. The only thing is that i think the music could use a little work

overall great game lots of promise

aviv-levy 2025-10-07 20:53

My favorite game in the jam so far! I really enjoyed the dialogues and felt immersed through out. The difficulty was just right, and I appreciated that the game told me if I succeeded. Printing those tickets was super satisfying. The art, sound, and sci-fi dystopian alien vibes are just πŸ‘©β€πŸ³πŸ‘Œ

This needs to be expanded!

bestdtang 2025-10-08 03:55

This game is fantastic! Discovering each alien was a real joy. Everything runs so smoothly, and the visuals are gorgeous. They really nail the game's theme.

borealteuthidia 2025-10-08 04:07

This game is so well done for a 3 day game jam! I quite enjoyed the challenge of trying to check the data in a rush. Only suggestion would be to make the tutorial less wordy as I had a hard time processing the wall of text lol. Stellar gameplay, audio and art!!

ciphereo 2025-10-08 05:27

Art and music are very interesting! The gameplay is very creative and I really like it!

denilseven 2025-10-08 12:19

This is so immersive!! It's really cool discovering the different alien designs. At first when I saw that their species was listed on their card I was a little bummed that you wouldn't have to recognize them based on their appearance, but then I realized that that info could be wrong too XD Now, IDK if this is a :bug:, but sometimes they wouldn't hand me the card with name, ID and seal, and almost every time this happened there would be a discrepancy, but I'm not sure if there's a way to report this missing card (playing on the itch.io web build) That aside, this is a really nice game with solid mechanics :) Thx for submitting!!

gat 2025-10-08 22:44

@denilseven Thank you for taking the to play! When a subject doesn't present their ID card you can use the inspect tool on the rule "All tenants are required to carry an ID" in the rule book. I definitely should have taken more time in making a proper tutorial.

denilseven 2025-10-09 12:53

Oh, ok! I'll try that @gat :D

kapricorn-media 2025-10-14 05:00

Ok, Papers Please is one of my fav games so this is an instant 10/10 for me. Please release this on steam because I will buy it.

praccen 2025-10-17 12:07

Fun! Took a while before I found all the ways things could differ, guess I should have studied the tutorial a bit closer. When their shape didn't match the species, it was a bit tough to understand If I should check the name against their "shape" species or the one on the card. Figured it out eventually! Would have liked to be able to see what mistakes I made after each round. Overall very nice work! Got 10 tickets and 5 submittals as my high score
