I'm a big fan of the idea of collecting your enemies as ammunition and firing them back at other enemies. It creates a statisfying risk/reward system where you could jump on enemies heads and risk taking damage but you will get more ammo for the blunderbuss as a result.

Fun little game. I like the music and graphics. The concept of collecting ammo by jumping on enemies is cool. The jumping felt a bit floaty. And I couldn't figure out how to kill the rabbit.

This was a very sweet game, left me feeling warm and fuzzy. Absolutely ADORE the graphics, especially the title screen and the fugu animation. Didn't overstay its welcome. Could have used some indication for what's the active weapon, but that's a minor nitpick. Great job!

Great game! As the others mentioned love the mechanic of using enemies as ammo, found myself not using ammo at all in the beginning to stock up lol, also love the choice to use a minimal color palette! -Swan

Solid platformer game! Great graphics and sound, controls/hit detection are ok, not great. Overall really solid entry, nice work!

Fun game! Love the art and music :smile: It was a little frustrating that the enemies move quickly and turn around randomly instead of when bumping into a wall for example, and sometimes I took damage from an enemy when I jumped on it. But solid entry overall, great job!

I really love this graphics style - feels comfortable while still being edgy! Beautiful art and you tied in the theme well. Fun game testing experience, but I gave up after I couldn't kill that darn rabbit! Thanks for making this!

Some serious megaman vibes comin through and I'm here for it. Love the idea, would like to see more in terms of the ammo collection mechanic instead of just kill enemy => get that ammo type and more variety in what the ammo types do. Concept is there, just needs a little more time baking. Great work!

The ammo system is pretty cool, I love the idea that you only lose a bullet if you miss an enemy. However, the UI for showing how much ammo you have for each bullet type, as well as which one is loaded, needs to be clearer. Gameplay-wise, everything aside from this mechanic feels like a normal shooter platformer; it needs more unique elements. The art is really good, but the grid-like squares don’t quite match the excellence of the rest of the visuals. The game-over art is nice too. I had fun, I believe the game has a lot of potential.

Took me few tries to get to this screen but I finally got it :D

I'm not sure if I missed something or there really is just one level. I'm guessing the time limit hit you hard in this project.

The artstyle is sooo goood.. I mean.. just look at those details on the ending screen! Also I'm really fan of the color palette :D The characters are clean and everything is animated (even jump has a different animation frames).

There is exceptionally a lot of polish in the main menu. There is a nice fading animation when switching between screens and you even added options panel with audio sliders. And for some reason that panel with credits looks aesthetically so good!

I really like the idea of using beaten enemies as an ammo. I wasn't sure where I can use it because it didn't work for enemies (but didn't try it in the boss fight). This game is a little bit short in comparison to how many mechanics it introduces at the start but has a lot of potential for possible future development.

I'm always focusing on the details in jam games because that way I can appreciate them more. Here I was able to notice that jump has a different jump height based on the key holding time. That's a nice touch and very useful feature that helped with killing enemies.

Feels little bit incomplete as a game but it's a really nice prototype with unique mechanics and well executed art direction! Good job for making it! :D

Nice platformer! The game feels a little bit incomplete and collisions have a lack of feedback from what I could tell -- but the gameplay was fun, the art was great, and the menus felt nice and polished. Great entry and nice work!!
