Very fun game with lots of mechanics. Incredible!

Very fun game with lots of mechanics. Incredible!
Very unique graphics and style, so cool!
I have no words how extremely cool is this. Thank you so much. So sad I didn't notice it until ratings were closed.
Neverending search for a perfect planet simulator. Couldn't find one, though.
Planets that actually revolve around the star is a nice touch.
At first I wondered why it's so short, but then noticed that you put in under a day. Nice!
Strong Portal vibe, nice graphics.
That "yellow" connect-thingie feels a bit clunky and probably lacks some sort of response (maybe sound? like a humming noise?).
Fun and engaging, however desperately needs a minimap, cause field of view is a bit small and spamming M is annoying.
Somehow found like 15 stars before actually discovering that there are planets.
(also game likes to hang after alt-tab and *really* dislikes two-monitor setup, however maybe that due to wine)
Controls definitely need a bit of tweaking or fixing, but still fun and fast-paced game.
Extremely fun and somehow more annoying than flappy bird. Great job, probably best game I've played so far. Though it might take too long to beat in one go (inb4 git gud), so the save feature will be appreciated.
Well that was dark, clone yourself to eat yourself. Still a nice game!
The mood is so strong, you can almost touch it.
Also yeah, mid-level checkpoints would've been helpful.
Extremely cute little game. Starting screen with animation is a piece of art, that's it.
Ship and weapons feels almost "tactile", cool animations/sound/mechanics balance.
Gives strong impression about emptiness of space.
Coordinates though should probably be in game in some sort of navigator, maybe not exact location if that's too cheesy.
Nice little game. There was no music, was it? Unless I was doing something wrong. Would've been fun combine some simple melody with ups and downs of a market.
Thanks everyone for playing and a for a very kind words!
It was our first jam game and first really finished one, you know. Obviously not even close to perfection, still, we had a lot of fun!
I really underestimated how long and hard it would be to create a "tech-tree" instead of just a table with perks. Oh well, need to better manage my time & expectations.
Also we should probably prepare some audio samples/tools before next jam instead of trying to figure it in place.
Thanks again, everyone, see you at the next jam!
Okay, that was GREAT. I don't even, I, uhhhh. Let me just say that I understood everything and I empathize with everything. So congrats on brilliant experience!
Regarding your questions:
1. the entire combination of gameplay elements together with how deep and expressive the ideas are
2. emergent combination of gameplay, story and theme (both game-wise (programmer life) and jam-wise (unstable))
3. honestly don't even know. Probably music, a little bit, in intense moments.
Wow, I think this game requires PhD to be able to figure things out. Even with pdf manual (in 4 pages!) it took me like 20 minutes and 10 tries to complete rocket.
I wanted nice animation of flying rocket as a prize tho
Dunno if I was the only one struggling, but shoot is Z. (Maybe there are other controls that I failed to find?)
Nice and extremely stylish, though I can't seem to beat two skulls.
Also game does not seem to like when it's scaled (like a webpage). Background stays small while everything else scales as expected.
Extremely well done and fun to play.
Loved how it was progressively harder, with various events unfolding.
That a hell of impressive simulator, GREAT job! Spend almost two hours alone just at this game, incredible.
Extremely cute and fun! Took me a while to stop trying to drag object in cauldron and instead click.
Also very cool to achieve that with nothing else but JS and HTML. Great work!
Cute little puzzle! Although I wasn't able to advance until I read here about standing on sunk mechas. A bit of music would also be appreciated.
Very nice take on theme! Extremely cool to have it done in compo in just 48h.
Very polished and fun! Especially liked these little but cute animations along with "kinda-voices". Overall smooth and balanced execution.
Cool idea with nice implementation. Although I think for the sake of "meditative gameplay" something should be done about how easy it's for them to split apart and never meet again. Like, they don't seem to gain infinite speed, yet they seem to never stop, I'm not sure how it works behind the scene.
Cool concept, however I probably either broke it with wine or it's buggy in windows as well. Very slippery controls, props such as tables flying everywhere on smallest collision, so on. After like 10 tries gave up.
Nice aesthetics tho.
Nice little experience. Small question: are purple blocks supposed to disappear and be invisible or it's a bug? They are still there, physics works, they generate purple particles -- just can't be seen.
Wow, what a gem. I was even surprised that I could knock everything in single hit. Also very fitting and nice music.
@fedev Sorry to hear that! I've updated description with a bit more explanation about controls. You are trying to build an atom, hitting it with different elementary particles like beta/gamma/neutron.
@malcolm Thanks for feedback! I understand that concern. As always, it's question of priorities. While short on time and have had few mistakes down the path, we had to choose between more complex and detailed simulation and logically finished experience.
@jaspior Regarding gamma-scattering and adding charge to neutron -- as I said above, we had rough time chasing two paths at the same time, so we had to choose. There was actually mechanic for photodisintegration and alpha-particle handling, however it was cut out in favor of actually completing game with, while small, still finished story. So, in the end I just repurposed gamma-rays to trigger beta decay. Anyway, thanks for reply!
Regarding godot and vn-stuff. I haven't used any plugins, I actually didn't even know there were any. VN-part is a simple Scene that shows when some conditions are fulfilled + blocking click handling for main scene. Actually pretty messy, I think it could've been done more cleanly with signals and some single source of truth (maybe even reactive-declarative way?).
Nice game, tho I struggled a lot with gliding. Few misses, a bit too late to bail, oops and you are dead.
Also quite fitting music.
Very cool and stylish game! A bit sad that there are no jump/crunchy sounds, kinda missed opportunity without that feedback.
As was said above, platform stability is communicated very intuitively with appearing cracks and "slabs".
Extremely hard but rewarding. Also probably the closest you can get to the jam theme
Okay that was interesting. Really wish a bit more gradual intro (took a while to figure what I'm supposed to do), but it's still very nice and certainly unique.
That was excruciatingly tough but still fun. Very well executed levels with precise heights.
Very nice execution, but I do agree with previous comments about having a bit of choice in cards to balance luck factor at least a bit.
Art, animations, upgrades are superb.
Really great idea. Gives Portal vibes. Only not "thinking with portals", but "thinking with that beeping hunk of metal that I need to carry around"
Managed to complete in 44 loops. Was stuck a bit because last two steps for some reason won't give hints or any notification about completion (as it were before). Also, were you really able to fix code in single press of a button? At least add a progressbar to smash that E until you type in your fix.
That's incredible! The sheer amount of work you've made.
The only issue is that something was amiss without music.
Wow, you managed to fit a surprise and a twist in a literal one button game. Great work!
Even comes with a leaderboard. Just wow.
Took me several attempts before I figured you can go back to lobby to heal and recharge. After that game became a lot less stressful
Great game, great atmosphere, great music. Kinda wanted more diverse enemies (I think there are 4 types in total, including boss?).
Extremely cute and fun game! Like the mood and small details here and there.
Don't know if it's intentional, but I frequently get stuck on seemingly invisible hitboxes, so I need to maneuver carefully to... well, not get stuck and die.
Great visuals, really cool CRT effect. Wish it was a bit easier with flappy bird one
For a shooting game that was tons of fun. Played like hundred rounds, whew.
Firefox for some reason had some trouble capturing mouse — mouse was in a small, but constant drift downwards. Played in Chrome instead.
Also would've been nice to have some indication how long the target is going to live — maybe brightness? Wasted lots of shots trying to shoot target that is going to disappear before "bullet" is going to hit it.
Such a beautiful and calm game. Liked that "clearing path" is not as simple as "spam click and walk".
Wow, that was unexpected. Creative, but that second level was harsh. Also I did somehow fall through the gaps in tiles and had to start over several times.
Very well made!
Minor question: moderate music distortion is a feature or a bug? I've tried several browsers with same result, so I assume it's intentional but I'll ask just to be sure
Wow, that was hard.
As already suggested before, it might improve things a bit if there were some way to gradually be introduced to ingredients.
Also what happens when we click with selected ingredient on customer instead of a pan? By animation I think he... eats it from our hands? Or we throw it away that way?
Fun game, though I think dying to your own ball is not that fun. Also after several buffs to speed you'll move so fast that it will be an issue.
Also would've been nice if there was a bit of "randomness" in ball physics — I managed to get it stuck bouncing in almost every game.
Cute game and interesting idea. Could've been a bit faster IMO with all these obstacles.
@eric-nguyen Thanks for you comment!
Unfortunately, "Settle score" button and result screen did not make it into final build -- we tried to get too much in it so it was both unfinished and broken.
We'll sure make it in post-jam version, it was a shame to cut it last moment. Alas, that's what the jam is
@fedir @ackiybolt
We get it buddy. Collect your victim points and get out of here. Just because you found yourself nice bubble to live doesn't mean everyone in the world should comply with your views and bow to your demands.
As for glorifying violence, "rushism" (whatever that is) or anything else you imply, game has none of that, which can be easily verified by, you know, simply playing the game.
But you're angry not because of that. You're angry because something contradicts your worldview and you want it gone.
So you'll claim whatever to get get game pulled, authors blocked and critics go silent.

@herptyderpoty
Actually, that's very easy to explain.
1. Short explanation: due to how Godot (engine used by our game) packs game into single binary, it might trip some antiviruses.
2. Long explanation.
So let's talk how Godot (game engine) works.
Game is written in scripting language GDScript. At first, scripting language is compiled in bytecode. When packing game in single binary, you get to choose — have separate archive with code and assets (GameName.pck) or embed that PCK file in engine binary (Checkbox "Embed PCK" in export options).
So, we have a binary + code/asset archive packed together. What does that prove?
Now let's create simple project in godot with no code, export it with enabled PCK Embedding and upload it to virustotal.
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/744eda257a90b5146a0460210f26ca055dd524b4fd602d567d39fc08255403dd/detection
Boom! It has the same 1 warning -- from same vendor -- and even same signature. It's an **empty project**.
By the way, you can totally do it yourself, go to https://godotengine.org/ , download IDE, create empty project, save Root scene, then Export project (Check "Embed PCK") and upload your file to virustotal.
---
Issue about that in Godot github: https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues/45563
---
If you still don't believe it, let's take someone's else Godot game with enabled "Embed PCK".
For example, this Ludum Dare 49 submission, The Blue Bedroom: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/the-blue-bedroom
Aaaand it's virustotal page:
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/67fb9622ed1b988118233e88a449ebc13deb94518ccaae4fef8db35ed7c8d167
Same warning.
---
And it you still don't believe us, simply play HTML5 version. Either here, on Ludum Dare website, or on Itch.io. I personally recommend Itch.io, it has correct dimensions (Ludum Dare website doesn't allow us to set custom viewport dimensions, neither it has option to enable fullscreen.).
Whew, that was extremely fun. One of the best if not the best games so far.
Also you've somehow made 10 seconds feel like an eternity. Probably should've added milliseconds to countdown
God damn that's hard. Enjoyable art and very cute sound design!
I only wish that the learning curve was not so steep. It's quite a jump from 2 ingredients (cup, coffee) to ... I don't even know.
Interesting gameplay with surprising mechanics. Pace seemed a bit slow to me. Some places force you into 10 second wait until another attempt can be made which is unfortunate.
Good work!
Extremely cool aesthetics and nice little music. Agree about spike hitbox being a tad too big.
Had lots of fun with "ice" dimension, trying to accelerate and not die at the same time.
Cute game, enjoyed figuring it out and spooky, unnerving atmosphere. Loved jokes about "environmental storytelling"
Great game! Good visuals, cool unnerving atmosphere.
A bit hard to beat, spent countless attempts and always died at a random moment from a random stop that somehow got me when shields were down. Most luck were from attempts with agility bonuses at first two EXP rolls.
Wow, that's a lot of stuff you managed to get done! Great work!
Unfortunately I had a lot of problems with cross-map transitions — every time I tried to go from map A to map B I always get stuck in some limbo. So physically I'm on screen A while camera shows screen B (or other way around).
First 5-10 times I managed to get unstuck and continue game but at some point I'm getting stuck without any way out.
So, unfortunately, I couldn't finish (if there is a finale — I don't know yet  ) the game despite trying three times. Tried both Firefox and Chrome.
What a lovely game! Love art and love how polished the game is.
Wow, this is just incredible. The music, the graphics, the gameplay, the gameplay loop — everything is so polished!
Absolutely love attention to small details, the grass, the animations, the sounds... Flawless work!
Great to see more visual novels!
Interesting submission! And now I'm intrigued how the story will develop. A bit sad that it's only prologue but it's perfectly understandable that you can't really write big and wrapped up story in 72 hours. Nice work!
Great choice in music too.
Wow, that's beyond impressive, it's doesn't feel like a Jam game at all, it's more like beta to full game. Great work! Animations are great, gameplay is fluid and polished. Jump may be a bit clunky.
If you even make a full version or post-jam update, may I suggest to try different footstep sound for different surfaces
Oh god the screams  Cute little game! Graphics are great, enjoyed Dune theme. Would've been nice to see some gameplay progression.
Chill and cute game. As others already said, some error margin in "skill check" would've been nice. Great work!
Fun little game. WebGL version for me was a bit frustrating with some whacky mouse problems and clicks registering on 3-4 attempt.
Perfect game with a perfect game loop! 10/10 in every category, brilliant work! Would gladly play more of it.
Would've been nice to have approximate price on item after you already sold it at least once.
What the hell, Bosch game! I've never thought I'd see one, especially on a jam! This is just incredible!
Great visuals, great gameplay. A bit confusing at first with all the stuff that's happening at the same time, but it's okay.
Masterpiece 10/10.
Interesting take on theme, but I either played cards wrong or had bad luck, so didn't manage to get a stable economy running.
In worst attempts I simply got stuck in a spiral of death, in a good enough attempts I tried what players above suggested only to find myself in a situation, where I have unstable balance of +0-1 coin per year. So I had to save money for 15-20 turns to... buy a cow and find out that it never appeared for some reason? After it happened several times I gave up.
I'm not sure if I did something wrong so I'm not blaming or anything, just stating it.
Also I'm not sure how "trash bin" works, because every turn I put there like 5 buildings only to find them next turn to appear again and clutter screen to death.
Overall, nice and interesting entry with room for a lot of improvements in UI/UX and game dynamics.
Neat little game. Enemies are cute!
A bit sad that you couldn't add leveling and perks in time, it would've added more variety in gameplay.
Don't feel too bad about unfinished game, it happens. Try to get minimum barebones working game next time and then iterate on it in the remaining time, constantly adjusting priorities and cutting corners.
Wow, a physics game!
It was hard and strangely addictive with all that finicky and precise manipulation that even the smallest mistake can send your crop flying on escape velocity
Great job!
Cute artwork and nice music! I may be mistaken, but diagonal movement feels faster than horizontal/vertical one. Maybe it's only a feeling.
Accidentally broke the game by pressing "esc" when I should've pressed "enter" in a shop. Got back to screen, but the time went negative :( So it was -5, -10, -30... So the game stuck.
P.S. Girls worries me a lot by thinking that fly agaric is edible. Girl! It's bright red!!
Wow, incredible work! Polished, interesting, interactive unique story. Loved style of the game!
Very impressive and strong entry, great work!
Fitting music, grim and interesting take on theme, great gameplay, very polished. I can't find anything to complain about, really.
That's probably the cutest and most beautiful game I've played this jam. Excellent work!
Game loop is flawless, gameplay chill and cute, hedgehogs are adorable, especially that smart one.
At first I thought that you need to collect fruit faster that it'll be stolen by birds, but apparently you can furiously click on pesky birds and shoo them away! Bell helps too.
What a cute farming point-and-click! Neat pixelart, fitting music, polished gameplay loop. Great job!
I'm not sure however what's a "disease", I think I triggered it at first by killing animals and using fertilizer. Second time I did not use them at all and disease never came unless it's unavoidable and I haven't been waiting enough.
Fun gameplay, leaderboard provides more fun and voice acting extra more fun
Trying to recognize patterns under that patronizing voice is sure unique experience.
Amazing gameplay loop, great choice of sounds and music, beautiful artwork, well done! Would've gladly played more if it were longer.
Also cool in-game tutorial gradually showing more stuff to do.
That was fun to play around! Stacking some buffs along with bonuses created some really quirky mechanics, like with several scopes and some other buff (I forgot how it's called) you can just shoot in any direction and be sure it'll kill something outside the screen.
The "you can only dash" buff is hilarious
Overall had a great time.
My only nitpick is that unstylized godot buttons could've been, well, textured, but it's only me, because I saw them so many times
Usually I avoid horror/horror-esque games but decided to check this out — and it was worth it. Great stuff!
Really like aesthetics and sound design.
Very nice game with great unnerving atmosphere. Wanted a bit more though. It seems there are only one fire, and after you extinguish it you just walk around assessing the damage and wondering if it'll start again.
Minor nitpicks: crops after being destroyed by spade still have non-zero health and status "burning". Burned down crops too. You can pour water on destroyed places and they will change status to "destroyed". Maybe the were multiple fires, the game just thought that first one was not extinguished?
Also it seems you can infinitely collect crops from a single bush
Cute and grim at the same time. Well executed gameplay, nice music, nice art.
Well done!
Oh god, the taxes!
What a piece of art!
You managed to surprise, land a perfect hit on a theme and create great experience!
Great job!!
P.S. Still can't believe you even snuck a rap there  Blew my expectations away.
@kenguin @truechips @zacharypinkham
Hi! Thanks for your feedback!
Sometimes we have to take tough decisions when the time for development is so limited.
To be honest, when the theme was announced we outright decided not to make anything related to farming simulator or grim reaper. Somehow we knew that there will be enough of entries like this :)
At first, we wanted to make point-n-click story driven game. Point-n-click would be responsible for the theme conformity, while the story will enhance the experience.
But in the process we learned the hard way, that either we are making finished story or functioning point-n-click gameplay; there's simply not enough time to do, test and debug both.
That's how our novel lost the gameplay part related to "Harvest", though you can still see some hints to the theme in the text itself. In the greenhouse scene, for example.
Unfortunately, of course, but that's the nature of gamejams.
Anyway, we are happy that we were able to create a proper finished story.
Thanks for playing!
@jaj Was is on ldjam or itch.io? In which browser, OS? I may suggest trying another browser, trying it on itch.io, downloading game as standalone program or trying this way:
https://files.jam.host/embed/$315015/10724/index.html
It's a direct link to uploaded web version from ldjam, you can press right-click on this page, inspect and get that URL from iframe element.
That way it wouldn't run in iframe so error may go away.
@khaotom
Thanks for kind words!
Typical pipeline for background looks like this:
1. modify prompt and run txt2img until I get something close to thing I had in mind (usually 4 or 12 images per attempt) 2. when I'm mostly fine with result, adjust lighting and style 3. run for 50-100 images (time for tea or snack!) 4. select 2-3 best looking and manually fix them, adjusting stuff here and there, like paint over some illogical stuff, add crate 5. img2img/inpaint img2img on it with same query until it looks good 6. SD upscale 2x or 4x, select best one 7. downscale back
For "ruined" background I took result from step 5, took in into img2img with really high noise values (up to 0.75) and manually draw over them. A lot.
For portraits pipeline looked mostly same:
1. txt2img, select best pic 2. fix, inpaint, add details 3. upscale to 8k resolution using some method (sd upscale if it looks good, then gfgan or how it called) 4. cut background and downscale back (saves time on cutting background as it takes like 1-2 minutes using magic wand)
Overall, it took around ~4000 generated images to get 8 backgrounds and 5 portaits.
Cuteness overload. Cutest and the most adorable game this jam!
Cute art style, great choice of music! Upgrades give nice sense of progression.
Extremely cute and fun game! Polished, fun and smooth. A bit annoying that you can't move while shooting, so you need to carefully time and adapt your actions.
Great submission!
Was confused at first with lots of options and seemingly fast gameplay but figured it out.
Very polished and fun game! Surprisingly difficult at first.
Great work!
That's an extremely impressive game for a jam!
Never expected it to be this deep and polished.
My only minor nitpick is that I would've preferred at least some feedback in the beginning, like, where to click, did my click do anything or not and so on. Some audio-visual hints.
Unique take on theme, great job! Nice use of physics, puzzle aspect and funny story do create a neat little game.
Wow, there's so much stuff. Incredible that you were able to pull that off.
Mouse sensitivity is waaay too high, even after I manually adjusted mouse to slowest setting it was still too high for my liking. Tried Firefox and Chrome too, so I think it's not a browser bug.
Adorable how such a grim theme is mixed with cute characters!
Starts a bit slow to me, I had to roll for perfect liver and perfect market several times before I had enough money with safe margin to buy a saw, and then economy went a lot better. After that game speeds up.
Nice entry!
Was not expecting to see a typing game! Great submission.
Also errors are expensive, missed one character and you have to retype whole word.
Interesting game!
Struggled at first trying to figure what I need to do. It just felt odd that you need to... tend for graves and that'll make pumpkin go biiig.
Great work!
Really like minimalistic style and take on theme! Well polished too, with every part fitting other parts perfectly.
Interesting and well made!
Had some trouble figuring out stuff to do at first; also, match 3 disoriented me a bit in the beginning, I simply not expected it to be there and was wondering if it's an exploration system or blockers.
Incredible game! Brilliant tutorial, fluid and creative gameplay, very polished. Probably the only "nitpick" is sometimes illumination lagged behind a bit (like with boss, you could walk up to him, almost die in darkness, shoot arrow in his big eye — and then game will take a solid second to adjust illumination to new level). Maybe intended, maybe not.
Superb submission!!
Incredible! Excellent gameplay, great art and sense of style, great choice of music, etc. etc. etc.
Feels more like a complete game made for Steam rather than something done in 72 hours — just wow!
P.S. Extremely minor nitpick, but page title (as in "html title") for game says LD53.
Incredibly polished, effective and well done. Especially for a solo game in 48 hours, damn! Great work!
Very nice game, amazing artwork and indeed very limited space  Incredible for a compo!
Extremely impressive for a jam entry. Level of polishing, attention to details, new mechanics to keep game fresh, the sheer length of the game, storytelling. Absolutely incredible work!
Wow, creative take on a theme! Had a pleasure solving puzzles and they felt unique and fitting. Great work!
Incredible graphics and complex gameplay. Took a bit of time to understand the flow of the gameplay. Overall lovely entry!
Extremely fun and borderline addictive. Somewhat challenging in the beginning and not-so-challenging later, but still lots of fun. Great work!
It's insane how good and polished it is. Holy moly! Absolute incredible work on directing, UI/UX, atmosphere, sound design etc. Also cute anime girls  And all that in 72 hours.
Unbelievably good!
This is beyond belief, it's incredible. Having trouble comprehending how it's possible to create such a gem in a short time.
Astonishing work!
Incredible atmosphere and art direction. The space is indeed very limited!!
For some reason had to clear cache and refresh multiple times until game finally loaded, it kept hitting me with errors loading asset archive (I checked web inspector).
God, this is genuinely terrifying. While I exclusively use Godot, I personally had a lot of similar experiences with engineering software that worked that way. I once had to go buy an external drive so I could dump data somewhere and install some urgently needed tools.
Great little game!
Very cute and enjoyable game. My only nitpick is that "text printing" is a bit bugged — it includes `
Well done creating 3d puzzle in such a short time! As others said, wish there was a breakdown. Also, is there a bonus points for matching items or having specific set of stuff packed?
Very interesting, unique and "weird" in a good sense game. Both atmosphere and style along with discrete movement in 3d works wonders.
Incredible compo entry! Super polished and great looking, cool audio. Loved the puzzles.
Interesting game, cool gameplay, incredible for a compo game! It even has plot in it. Great work!
Cute little game and interesting take on a theme. Had fun!
Хорошая работа, товарищи.
@wisstopher Thank you for your kind words! Sure, here you are: https://mega.nz/folder/mo9mDAZB#15b48AVOL7j0p-DtG1b84w
Great little game! At first had trouble figuring out what to look for, but got it quickly enough. Has some potential to expand if you ever have mood for that.
Played this while doing my daily grind in favorite mobile gacha. The feels! Hit way too close to home.
Neat game and cool concept. Great graphics! Extremely cool to have midi-support implemented!
Incredible entry! Love graphics, interesting and tough gameplay. Kinda want quick restart without losing progress. Also hoping you would add some sounds and music in post-jam, if it happens in the future.
Great work!
Beautiful art, polished small and finished game, great work for a first entry! Keep it up!
RIDICULOUSLY addictive and fun! Did spend like an hour and a half. Nice sound, cool old-school interface.
If possible, could you hotfix number rounding? Of all minor UI bugs I encountered it probably most annoying. Screenshot_20241008_032502.png
Other minor bugs: sometimes clicks fall through interface and I switch from galaxy to system view (while trading) and sometimes right pilot tabs get stuck in "selected" ("pressed") mode.
CRIMINALLY underrated game. Ridiculously good, and even crazier that it's a compo one. Probably one of the most unique and best games I've played this jam. Great work!
Quite fun and complex! Absolutely love the music. Nice graphics and great palette.
Very cute, I wish there were more upgrades/choices to choose defenses from and kinda more dynamic maps. And some sound would be nice (unless I don't have any due to some bug and it's actually there).
Long live the tyre swans!
Wow, a lot of things to fiddle around, very cool! As already said above, a bit of feedback on user actions would be great.
Very chill and meditative game, well done!
@weirdbitgames Huh, that's weird. If it's here, on ldjam website, you could open this link in new tab: https://files.jam.host/embed/$397897/35839/index.html
(that's the same as in iframe embedded in the page)
Or you can try itch.io or even downloading it as a binary. If it persists even in new tab and on itch.io, could you tell your browser version and operating system? There may be some quirks I don't know about.
Anyway, thanks for notifying us!
Absurdly great and addictive game. Also quite challenging in a good sense.
Chill and lovely game, voices are just adorable!
Very solid atmosphere, but quite hard to control character so I died a lot. Also I know it's a lot to ask from a jam game, sorry :), but it would be better to gradually introduce controls over a bit of time than to dump them at the same time in the beginning.
God, I LOVE the hammer feedback effect. I could smash it all day. Very adorable game, had loads of fun!
Fun little game! Would be nice to polish UI/UX a bit more in post-jam update, like, for example, automatically return to buy-sell menu after battery hits zero, and have some more interesting upgrades.

Hello everyone and thank you for playing!
Sorry it took so long, we've been bughunting and fixing the most important stuff for like two weeks. In the first day it felt it would take "two hours, three at most", but god damn we did find a lot of breaking bugs.
So, we've uploaded fixed build v1.10. Polishing, hotfixes, typo fixing, fixing broken animations, bringing back missing sprites, adding back accidentally removed dialogue, removing dialogue that should not have been triggered and so on.
We're still planning on Post-LD patch with actually new features, so stay tuned!
Very cute animation and generally very nice aesthetic! However, quite hard to control character, I dunno, is it input lag or processing lag? I often die like 200-500 ms after collision, after already firing a bullet and jumping away.
So, overall, a biiiiit more casual mode for not-so-great players like me would be appreciated, like checkpoints, more-than-1-health and less input lag.
Well done!
Love the art and giant props for Miyabi!
Really impressive how addictive it is, I have made in only once to the bottom out of like 40 attempts but still had a sense of progress. Very good decision to allow you keep money even if you lose.
Quite fun, but challenging for me — I was constantly getting stuck and not being able to jump back in time. Probably gamedesign decision, but still.
Also is it me or ammo is quite scarce with no melee available? At least my every playthrough ended like that — I'm with no ammo, dragged away by enemies (off-screen, a bug? a feature?) and unable to shoot.
So, without imposing on anyone I would've kindly suggested:
1. add branches of cave along the line of the drill (I'm not climbing 5000 meters in time, yeah). Perhaps smaller ones. 2. at least some way to fight without ammo or less scarce ammo
Anyway, great game!
Cute concept and cute characters! Adorable designs!
A little UX needs improvement a bit and movement was somewhat glitchy, but other than that great work! Also would've enjoyed to read some more in game, like flavor text about hats or some VN-like dialogue employing adorable char designs.
Dangerously addictive stuff right there, great work!
The past trails of your launches is a great QoL feature.
Very polished game, solid art direction and has short but entertaining story! Great work!
I replayed several times but I don't think I have found a single use for "Informant" (Intimidate) goon. I think every time being polite or rough were 1-2 color codes better. Dunno if I did something wrong.
Cute game! At first I didn't realize you can double and triple jump. Also, if you time yourself just right, you can get stuck on a flat vertical side of a platform (that is -- until you jump).
Very nice little game! Was a bit hard in browser, firefox kept nagging about losing-and-gaining control over mouse. Not sure if firefox or unity quirk.
They call me 007 — 0 mail delivered, 0 houses left undamaged, 7 coffees down.
Was incredibly fun yet incredibly hard, I'm pretty sure I tore down every single house. If you ever do post-jam version, plz add some visual representation how bumped car or houses are. Or maybe in the endgame stats.
Great work!!
Very well done and unique take on theme, had a blast playing it. Sound design, character design, interface — everything works so well!
I kinda expected that over time enemies would grow stronger so it would become unfeasible to click on them and you HAD to rely on helpers.
Extremely cool game, with lovely puzzles and incredible atmosphere! Although a bit too dark for my liking (literally. I couldn't see a thing sometimes and basically stumbled in the dark until found a way).
Loved that you can lock enemies in place strategically with spikes.
Amazing game! And amazingly implemented tutorial. Very atmospheric, very cozy, incredible work!
Kinda wish I could remove flags where I no longer needed them to avoid confusion.
I think I've tried all the buttons I found and the only result I get is "...Oh no, only $10,000?". After a single click.
Am I missing something, is it bugged or what? Is there only one correct choice that I haven't found?
Wow, that was a unique one. Probably the most unique so far on this jam. Amazing work, very style-heavy.
On a technical standpoint, I wonder, is "water/pool-like" background a prerendered one or it is some shader magic?
Very unique and innovative take on theme, you don't see often multiplayer games on LD. Also very stylish. Great work!
Wow, what a great Compo entry! Fun and addictive gameplay loop, and overall very polished. Great work!
Omg it's Miku! ~~Run!!~~
Lovely little game, great artwork and style!
Very charming style and lovely characters! Great work, always kept me tight on timings.
Incredible feat to accomplish in 48 hours, as a compo entry! Well done gameplay-wise and atmosphere-wise.
Also for some reason game doesn't load in firefox yet works in Chrome. Odd.
That's a very impressive entry! Solid style, great art direction. Also impressive size, damn :)
Noooooo not the figurines. Can't imagine what would I do had it happen to me and my figurines.
Great visuals and overall style!
Great work, looks like a complete and finished entry! Quite addictive too. Also I fully expected that bumping into stuff is a no-no, however I found later that it doesn't matter and I can go full blast, crushing everything in my way.
Great visuals and great style, but a tad too short :( Also either I encountered bug, or VN part lacks sounds in VN (but not in menu). In firefox, if that matters.
Anyway, keep up the good work!
Very interesting idea with clean, concise execution. Nice work, especially for a compo!
Very nice core loop & stylish implementation! Edge rows of buildings though overlap with interface, so some z-index magic is required (I had to avoid top row to be able to read interface).
Was really fun to jiggle buildings and balance numbers, flipping bonuses etc.
Great work!
This is really, really cool! Essentially a clicker without clicking, yet interesting, captivating and very fun. Speeding up music with collecting and switching in, eh, "turbo mode" is nice!
Great work!
I don't know whether to feel cursed or blessed by this, but I've played for like 20 minutes no cap fr.
Nice work.
Great art style, and very impressive execution for a jam game, nice stuff! Привет нашим.
Incredibly good! Very nice graphics, very addicting gameplay and gradual increase in difficulty is top notch.
I would've definitely added sounds in post jam patch, it's really important way to communicate imminent danger and improve overall feedback loop.
Great work!!!
Congrats on your first ldjam entry! Wish I could move camera and there were more levels to it. Also only one attempt to fire ever feels a bit harsh, along with inability to move camera.
Nice work!
