Very clean interface and I especially like the way you did the tutorial in the beginning! Game is fun and very challenging from the beginning which I enjoy. Well done!

Great art, design and audio. Jumping and movement felt off though... I know you can upgrade them to make them better but it was so hard to collect coins in the first place without having a good jump that it took my dying over and over again to finally be able to reliably collect coins.
Great Game. I especially liked the comeback-mechanic, if you die to get upgrades, to make the next fight easier.
Took a few tries but I have defeated Greg The Evil Robot
Game's fun! Looks good, controls well, dig the music and sfx. Aiming felt a little weird until i started doing all my shooting while jumping. The pushback mechanic on charged shots makes it scary to try to overcharge without a couple squares to slide into, which adds to the challenge nicely.
Great entry!
Cool game, it took me a couple of trys to understand the floor disappearing mechanic but once I got the hang of it I found it very original and fun. I think the upgrades could have been more expensive or less powerful. Good job
I like the cheery over all vibe. The game is a bit too hard for me personally and I feel like the pricing increases too fast. But over all it's fun to play and looks good!
Great game, very polished. The concept is very fun. It was short though, I wanted more at the end! Congrats :)
great idea. The game is fairly simple and finishes quickly, but the graphics are incredible. Bravo
Very nice, and clean game. Really liked it. The initial speed is a little to slow, but with some upgrades, the gamepla becames very smooth
Nice one! I had a lot of fun and played a few extra rounds after winning (happy to see that upgrades persist even after going back to the main menu). The aiming control felt great. I know sometimes it gets messy trying to have a 3D game with a view like this, and aiming is done by projecting the cursor onto the floor. I had no issues with it though, it felt very reliable.
Really the main downside (from my opinion) was the game got too easy too fast. I forget the exact order I bought upgrades in, but the boss seemed to just roll over and die by run 3. Maybe there's a combination of your players get used to the game and skill improves, and at the same time the upgrades are making them more powerful. Perhaps the upgrades being weaker would have smoothed that out?
Or, once Greg dies, your next round is fighting against Greg's older brother, who has significantly more health. Bullet sponges may not be the most fun mechanic, but programming-wise could come together really fast. That loop could go on forever, and then your players are discussing "I got to Greg #8, how far did you get?" Or maybe each time you win and click "play again" your next round starts with less and less tiles. Of course, the most fun probably comes with new boss attacks. I think a shockwave expanding out from the boss would have been a good one, that players have to jump over.
Great entry! Felt really polished. Really grateful for the coin on the start pad as it got me the jump upgrade needed to be able to farm more coins down in the arena. Felt pretty good have the charge time and defense upgraded enough to face-tank and out-damage Greg after scrambling around dodging bullets and collecting coins.
Tempted to come back and do another run and see how few upgrades I can beat him with.
@asieke It's totally possible with no upgrades... just saying... just in case you wanted to try...
Great game, the movement and jump where a little bit too slow from the start but with upgrades they are good ! Nice entry
Couldn't really find any coins other than the first one, graphics were nice, the Wilhelm scream was funny!
Nice game, really enjoyed how the boss firing audio changed back and forth to really signal the next round of shots, and the art is all cohesive too. Great job!
I win, nice game ! The landing at the start is quit hard but the boss itself is quit easy, I felt like I wasn't taking any damage. The graphism are good
Very cool concept, I like the audio and graphics on this one. Interesting idea with the no life and upgrades.
I really like the if at first you don't win buy some upgrades and try again design. Also cool idea for the theme too, good work!
Really cool game, gameplay is pretty good. One complaint is that it's pretty hard to initially fall and land on a platform (I kept missing anyway) I think a safe zone/platform to land on (and then disappears quickly after) would be really helpful. The death sound is a bit grating as well. Good job on the game though, it's quite polished for a jam game!
Nice game, feels like a complete game with the upgrades and such. Like the graphics, controls felt a bit weird at first, perhaps I would like them to be a bit "smoother". Sometimes it was hard to determine where to land. Boss fight is a bit too intense at first I feel, maybe give a little "ramp up" before he goes all out.
Fairly fun to play, I know you can upgrade it, but the jump height at the start was just too low, I tried jumping to other platforms but couldn't, because the character couldn't jump all too high.
After my 3rd run I was able to beat the game - was secretly hoping for another boss with some new mechanics.
Very interesting game. It took me a few attempts to figure out how to play. I didn't get that shooting back at the robot would regrow the tiles, so I slowly ran out of room to dodge and died. In hindsight, it makes a lot of sense and is actually pretty cool that everything is balanced on a single value. I managed to defeat greg in the end, very nice game overall!
Extremely fun and borderline addictive. Somewhat challenging in the beginning and not-so-challenging later, but still lots of fun. Great work!
Great game! Took a few rounds to get into, but nice gameplay and nice feature that you get more and more power as you play many times and get more coins!
That was fun!
Nice music. LOVE the upgrades!
The one things that might improve the game a little bit is a more evolve camera. It would be cool to keep the enemy in focus in addition to your character.
Great jam game!
Holy crap I am terrible at this haha! Amazing work, looks awesome, sounds really cool. Cheers!
"KAAA MEEE HAAA MEEE", falls off "AAAAAH"
The web version was working fine for me. The tutorial practice space at the beginning was very nice. The game controlled smoothly and graphics and audio were all very well done. Is my understanding correct that to start the game you have to walk or jump off the tutorial platform? If that's the case, I walked off the tutorial platform and right into a pit many times. Restarting the game is relatively painless, but I think generally speaking that immediate chance of death really isn't fair since the player can't see those pits well (or at all) from the tutorial platform.
So nice and short boss battle!
I think is really cool, the arts is great!
I liked the game interesting gameplay
