It's a cool idea, well-executed, but it gets boring quickly. I think it needs more variety, starting from the second level. Yes, there is some variety, but it's not significant. It's also not clear why some signals are not being sent. Yes, it's probably justified, and I didn't notice it at the beginning, but I think it should be more clearly displayed for a better experience.
Sorry for my poor English, it's not my primary language.
I liked the graphics! Simple, but they fit the game’s aesthetic well. It’s a shame you couldn’t vote for them. It was interesting, and I’d love to see more variety!
I like the graphics and the concept, but I think you could expand on it for example, by adding more variety. Also, what are the unique signals for?
Conceptually this is one of my favorites! I love the cryptic framing. *What are you doing? What are the pings on your radar? What happens when you approve or reject their responses?* After a while you start thinking: *Am I even a good guy?* The terminal interface, the unfeeling language and droning sounds – they all add to this creeping feeling of unease.
The gameplay was original and fun. Unlike other commenters, I didn’t think it got boring during these four short levels. It also makes excellent use of the theme!

Very polished game that looks and feels really good. Obviously more levels would be fun but this is a 48h compo so its understandable that its short. Well done!
This was a cool idea, if a little repetitive. The escalating shapes worked well and I liked the unique id based codes in the later level. The presentation and story were great. The sound effects and drone music were perfect for the vibes. Four levels seemed about the perfect amount for this. I bet with some more development this could be a more full fledged game. Great work.
Very well done, the presentation is excellent! The gameplay and visuals perfectly capture the feeling of sending a pinged signal and waiting for one in return. The levels do add a surprising amount of tension with more things to signal to, and their slow but steady approach made me nervous. I imagine if I needed extra signals to send, the ID system would be used but I never ended up needing it. A good way to increase difficulty would be to have the short list of signals to use change each level, as I did get comfortable with the first set of sequences. I had fun, good work!
The game has a very distinct vibe to it that fits really well with the graphics. The lack of context on what you are actually doing is neat in the sense that it raises a little air of mystery but that isn't expounded on in what I have played. It feels very smooth and polished, my only real complain is the sounds: they are grating and actively painful (I was very thankful for the built in mute button). The gameplay is simple: matching calls to responses, but it's easy to relax and make a mistake, papers please style. Quite fun for a short time but would need more (story or mechanics, probably both) to bring me back.
there's things that are really great about this game. And there are things that I didn't care for. It took me a while to figure out what to do. I was confused that some only needed 3 digits while others needed 4 or 5. Once I figured out you just needed to pick one of the signs I was good after that. Then it was, the same thing over and over? Seemed like it to me. nice job for a compo!

Very interesting idea with clean, concise execution. Nice work, especially for a compo!
