It took a few tries but I finally found a combo that works!

I appreciated how the game functioned like a puzzle, asking you to optimize your way to a result that worked. The population growth mechanic was a bit unclear to me, so it may have been nice to project what would happen next turn given your current food levels.
However, the game was a good amount of fun. Thanks for sharing!

@thepelranthean Thanks for playing!
Great feedback, it's true that some of the mechanics aren't explained well enough. To be honest we're just chuffed to see that you figured out how to play at all, seems like you managed to do really well :D
That sheep reminded me on settlers of catan where you also had some kind of cards. I pretty much liked the game and the game concept and it was fun to play. As other comment said already it took a bit to get into, but that was no problem for me.
lovely little card game, very relaxing! Tiny suggestion, I think it would be nice to right click on a food card to automatically put it in food storage just to save multiple drag and drops each turn
I really enjoyed the game! I played for a lot longer that I thought I might. I just got caught up in the flow.
Some notes on the good: - It took me a little bit to understand why I would buy some of the cards, however it wasnt that long before I figure it out and immediately got it into the flow. - The addition of the Forage card was perfect as it helps get out of those ruts where your input == output. - Wheat => Flour => Bakery feels nice and balanced.
On the bad: - None
Ways it could be improved: - A cap on pair count in the barns. Once you get going with animal pairs it gets out of control fast, mostly because- - Identical cards don't collapse, so you have 40 cards at the bottom of your screen it's hard to make out what card it is. - Honestly, I didn't want to stop playing and really wanted to expand the land available go the mogul route.
All in all, great work! Thank you!

Interesting take on the theme, you don’t see many card games here! What I lacked the most is the tutorial or even a simple description of how to play, because card games are not really my thing. So, I am doing something, but I am really not sure whether correctly at all. :)

Interesting concept. I had problems in understanding who to make things work, meaning that the learning curve is quite steep. Btw, this would be a solo card game pretty innovative which would deserve future developments. Nice entry
Wow, I quickly got myself in a tight spot from not quite understanding the strategy. But I was able to recover and build a nice farm year to year.
It felt like a card based factorio!

It was fun to play! Bakery is OP! However, I didn't manage to buy any animal to my barn - all of them in the market were always expired for some reasons (with values like -1 or -3 years)

Interesting take on theme, but I either played cards wrong or had bad luck, so didn't manage to get a stable economy running.
In worst attempts I simply got stuck in a spiral of death, in a good enough attempts I tried what players above suggested only to find myself in a situation, where I have unstable balance of +0-1 coin per year. So I had to save money for 15-20 turns to... buy a cow and find out that it never appeared for some reason? After it happened several times I gave up.
I'm not sure if I did something wrong so I'm not blaming or anything, just stating it.
Also I'm not sure how "trash bin" works, because every turn I put there like 5 buildings only to find them next turn to appear again and clutter screen to death.
Overall, nice and interesting entry with room for a lot of improvements in UI/UX and game dynamics.
This game kept me engaged for at lot longer than I anticipated. Early game had some strategy of whether to prioritize gold or food, which was neat. Goats definitely got out of hand very quickly, I think a limit or a "sell all" button could be useful. Great job!

Very cute take on the theme! I enjoyed the card playing aspect. I didn't quite understand all the mechanics from the beginning - especially the animals - so I just kept sacrificing cows. :( On the other hand I think that was what made the game charming, I felt like I had to figure out everything on my own, trying again and again until my villagers died. It was still super fun. :D
