Liked the sounds and the sprites. It was a little easy getting by the trolls. I did think they were bears though:) The lighting was cool. It was easy to keep the fire going though. Maybe the timer goes done quicker. It seemed like after you put the logs in it would go done right awy.
Should have included some visual cues that the rover was driving.
Funny sounds. When you changed characters the old character stayed on the screen. Was a little lost too when I re-spawned as another character.
Neat little puzzle. Liked the layout and design.
Cool little people sprites. Liked the over all look and sound of the game.
The audio was funny. The walls reminded me of the old Wolfenstein 3d game.
Good job with the 3d graphics and the driving mechanics. Had fun mowing the grass:)
Mood was creepy:) Couldn't turn though. I like the since of exploring to find out what would happen.
Pretty challenging. Space movement was pretty good.
The controls were a little hard to get use to. I liked how you where the giant monster try to knock others out.
My game had the same name. No flower though. Nice 3d environment. Was able to walk through the wall of the house though, but good job.
Neat little dungeon crawl. It was challenging to keep it alive.
I liked the simple piano sound effects. It gave it charm. Good job with the game mechanics.
Cool idea for a game. Liked pushing the enemies and figuring out how to get the king to the flag.
It was challenging and fun trying to jump with the egg.
Graphics were nice, but the glow was a little too much.
Nice work. It was my first compo too. Liked the visuals for the health. It was a little easy to circle around the enemy and just shoot. It thought the enemy would shoot too slow. The hp/ammon is a neat idea, just the enemies didn't hit me enough so I always had full health. But it was cool.
Wasn't sure about the controls. Seems like a neat idea. Not sure if enemies are needed in this kind of game.
Interesting ideas here. The sprites were could. Would have been nice to see the heroes in action.
Nice job. It reminded me of the mini-game in Mario paint for the SNES.
Nice job with the interface. Needed some audio. What determines if the conditions are good? Does it just automatically grow life the longer you play?
cool programming game. Liked the different options for the game.
Nice job. I liked how it automatically zoomed in and out. I think the movement of the ship could be better. It seemed to have specific movements that made it difficult to actually hit a ship because it could line up with it.
Good job with the game. I had fun just jump around on the snowy mountains.
Like the sprites and the music. Was challenging as more and more came with each wave. The game has some strategy to it too.
I had difficulties not eating the wrong food. Not sure if I was doing something wrong.
It was funny seeing all these things just shot at the clown. :)
Nice mood for this game. Good little adventure.
Good game. Like the tracks left in the snow. It actually helped finding your way back to the plane.
It was fun balancing the different activities.
Good idea. It was different have the player revolve around the cursor. When the player was close to the cursor the player would spaz out.
Good idea. Nice job with your first LD.
Had difficulties with the control. Couldn't seem to get out the first room. There was a whole and a window, but I couldn't jump out the window and the dog couldn't go through the hole.
Liked the sound and the cute cat spirit. The first level could have been shorted since it was a little too easy.
The music is so funny. I almost thought of doing that with my game when I felt like I wasn't going to have enough time. Wish there was more ways to attack. First enemy took too long to defeat. I just spamming attack. Then on the second one I spammed boost and then attack. Like the art style too. You made different types of enemies with limited pixels.
Good job with this. I liked how the names of the levels helped you to know how to complete the level. Had some struggles with level 7 because I wanted to rush through it . Realized i needed to take one jump at a time.
Was hard to control. Made me think of Paperboy. :)
The audio and beginning cut scene are great. Nice challenging game play too.
Liked the animations. Really neat idea for keep it balanced.
Nice art and graphics. I liked the idea of placing gold to make more money. You had to think where to place each item.
Nice mood for the game. Audio would have been nice. Good Ui system. everything felt clean and easy to read.
Liked the font. Good job with your first entry.
Felt bad for those people. I couldn't save them:) At first I though I had to avoid them, but I realized I just needed to spray.
@symphonia Yeah. I didn't think about color blind. There was a small green light under the gem, but I didn't have time to fix it. I appreciate your commets.
@rirdeg Thanks for the input. Yeah the game gets samey after awhile. With more time I would had difficulties and different set up of the machines. I really couldn't get the animations to work well. Need to learn how to do that better.
Thanks. For all feed back!
@derkuchen I had a sound effect for picking up the gem, but it does come out well. 3x on the red gem is the best. I had an idea that the monster would want certain types of gems at random points and what he would want would changed base on how far you got in the game. Didn't have enough time to program it though.
@gnarly-narwhal Thanks. I like putting the speed on one of the greens or purples and put a x3 on the red machine.
@brandann how much points you get lets you know how much its feed. I chart at the being would have been helpful. Ran out of time though. The black gems to get in the way, but it made it challenging. When I first was working on it in 3d I had made a robot to help you. You would have to create them though using gems. The x3 upgrade is like the x2. Machines will make that many gems. The other upgrades speed up the machine. The longer it takes the machine the more valuable the gem.
@binaryprinciple Thanks a lot. I do want to expand on it. I wanted it to have it where the monster would want certain kinds of gems or combinations of gems. Has the game progresses how much he wanted would change.
@vano thanks a lot.
Thanks for all the comments and feedback. I really appreciate it! Many of the problems I knew existed, but I didn't have time to fix. But, even with those problems I'm glad people can still play it and enjoy it. I had a lot of ideas for the game, but knew with limited time I needed to focus on one thing to make it playable and fun.
@thedashdude yeah, there's a lot of issues with it, but I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the feed. I haven't really played factorio but I know about.
@kunonooni thanks a lot! Glad you liked it.
@fatpenguin Thanks for playing. Everything is automatic. Spacebar is only used when you pick up a gem that you didnt want to pick up. I think that was the confusing part in my instructions. So, if you have a gem you have to face the correct direction to put in a machine. You don't have to press space bar to drop the gem in the machine. Same with feeding the monster and placing upgrades. The high score was an after thought. Didn't have time to put other things like levels. I would have had the monster want certain gems at different times. So at first he might only want a black and white gem, but than as you progress he would want red and purple. But, ran out of time. I would also redo the controllers as well. But thanks again for playing.
Pretty good for your second game. Keep it up.
Really good sim game in a short time. Not sure if the storage system worked though. The user interface is great. I liked how you were able to have the information about each item when you hovered over with the mouse. Sometimes it's hard to think about those little details when making a game in a short time.
Cute sprites. Needed a press any key at the beginning and background pictures so you knew you character was still moving when there was nothing on the screen.
Nice game. I liked the overall look of the game.
Cool animations. Game play needed some work.
Nice animations and creative idea.
Good mood. Wasn't sure what to do at first. Did like the look of your game.
I liked how you guided the player to the baby. That really helped.
Interesting mix with farming and zombie attacks. I think the menu for buying should just always be showing. Also, the first day I put a fence down and then at night my player spawned on the fence and I couldn't move. So, I blow the fence down :)
I spent most the time just kill the baby with my helicopter :) I did get a null reference error once. Pretty challenging game. It's funny when the baby bounces off stuff.
Like the physics in the game. I figured out to just let all but one person get infected and hold the last one with your mouse since it was easy to dodge the infected.
The style of the art looked good. I like the idea. Need some improvements with the UI, but some of it was good. Liked the little messages at the top of the screen. The button should be highlighted when you click on it.
Cute graphics. Well done.
Wasn't too sure what I was doing. It seemed interesting though.
Good job with your first LD. It was my first one two. Particles were nice. Could of had bullets coming from the player to know where you were shooting.
Nice job with the graphics. Using the arrows keys for shooting was different :)
Liked the different camera angle. Some of the rooms is was difficult to know which key would move the robot in what direction. Need some sound effects too.
I liked how the level 1 text could kill you :)
Addicting game. Would like to see levels with different layouts.
Nice interaction with the mouse and the environment. I didn't really stop to read the text because I was busy clicking around. Maybe it should be located somewhere else instead off to the side of the screen.
Nice worked on your game. Liked the lighting and retro graphics. Nice try with the randomness too.
Very good animation.
Nice animation. Could of used an extra hit before dying.
Like others I wasn't sure what to do at first, but for some reason I was really intrigued by your game. Maybe it was the music our all the random numbers of the board. I agree with many of the comments that were mentioned already. At first I was wandering around just seeing what happens. Then I just tried going to a square that would just get me closer to the destination. Of course that killed me a lot.
Liked the music and simple polygon graphics.
Really good humor. I also enjoyed your intro video and your thoughts on game development. I also feel like Game Jams are teachable moments. You have to keep things simple and make just a prototype for a game.
Nice job with this game. There was a bug where my character was right on top of the other but was not getting hit.
It's great how you made a simple game and then added extra features to that such as a level editor. Great job.
Nice game. Liked the art style.
Nice job. Liked the music. Art was cute
Nice dungeon crawl game. I created one too that's more like the original Zelda game where if you don't go through the correct door, you go back where you came from.
Nice work and good job of try to create something different.
Nice little game. I liked the look of the character. It give them personality.
Great job. Liked the cowboy theme and the graphics. It was fun using the lasso.
Nice job with your game. I created a similar zelda-style dungeon game. I tried to use NES colors and limited sprites to only 4 colors. I only allowed for 4 directions as well. You have to pick the correct door or you loop back to the same room.
@stephenwhoskins Never have. Maybe it will be my next challenge.
Nice job. Enjoyed the different levels.
Neat idea! Liked the visuals.
Thanks for the feedback.
@jimbly Thanks for playing. Each room does have one exit that is always the same for that room. Sorry about the text. I didnt have time to make a good splash screen. Also, I know the controls need some work. Part of it is because I tried making in like the Classic Zelda game and it has those same kind of controls. Like no diagonal and stopping when you attack. :)
@michael-feldman Thanks for playing. I wish I had been more clever in how to figure out which way to go. I was thinking of putting in an item that the player could buy with the gold and then use to show at least two possible ways.
@stephenwhoskins I used Unity for the programming. Krita for the art. Deflemask for the sound.
@stephenwhoskins I used Deflemask because it was free and you can use the Nes chipset. I just messed around with it until I made a sound effect that was "passable"
@stephenwhoskins thanks for the information. I'll have to check it out.
@pkenney Thanks so much for playing and looking at the code. I noticed that in my controls as well. I'll keep tweaking until it becomes better. You almost made it to the last room where you find the Circle-force. I think you had one more room of enemies.:)
Nice game. I enjoyed the art style and the audio. I liked how it got more challenging as you played.
I watched your Youtube video of you making this. Really enjoyed it. Graphics are good. Interesting game play, however it's really difficult to know what will happen when you eject something. But, I was fun watching everything swing around the blackhole.
Nice job for your first Jam. I liked how you wrote some background story to the game.
Nice simple game. Cute graphics too.
Some good ideas here. Clicking was a little too much. Nice bit of history.
Fun little game. I liked the Sprite work.
Nice atmosphere for this game. Music was fitting.
Good game. I little too random for me though. It seemed liked I would complete task just because of lucky draws. I think there needs to be more deck building and a way to thin your deck.
Nice simple graphics. I think there needs to be work on the ships movement. When I push in a directions for movement the ship does not face that way. I understand you wanted to be able to shoot in a different direction than the ship movement. I think maybe there should be a gun turret that could rotate for the gun that way the ship could face in the direction it moves.
Nice job with the effects. I liked the controls of the game.
Nice job. Need more content though. Maybe add more fish. There also should be some feed back when you take the picture. Maybe a screen would pop up and show you a picture of the fish.
I liked the radius for the movement. Like the other comment it was difficult to read the green text. It took me like two turns to realize there was no AI :)
Art was good. Reminded me of Don't starve a little too much. I had some difficulties with controlling the programming. Sometimes it wouldn't let me click a block to add.
Nice game. I liked how you put in a little dialogue in the game. The sound was good. It had a little progression system that worked pretty well. The game could have used some animation with the character.
Nice graphics. The game did crash for me when I took a picture. It might be my computer though.
I liked how the asteroids bounced off the ship. I think the ship need more inertia. It seemed liked it cam to a complete stop when you let go of the key.
Nice game. Liked the idea. It was fun trying to move the ship correctly. There was some bugs with the menu though.
I had fun controlling the maze. Good amount of difficulty.
Art and animation was pretty good. Sounds was good too.
Fun little puzzle platformer. Needs work on the controls.
Really nice visuals. Some of the foreground would cover the action such as attacking the first box to get the sword.
@nabo369 Thanks. There is a major bug that needs to be fixed.
@mira @bnmkt Thanks for playing. I will definitely put it in a zip. Totally forgot about doing that.
@bnmkt I had the same idea for naming them. That's why I put in naming. :)
@fizzbark Thanks for your comment and feedback. Did you click the bell again to stop it?
@pavel-smejkal Thanks for the feedback. We wanted to out those in, but just ran out of time. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
@viperux lol You know that was bad programming on my part. The state machine for the villagers doesnt check if it already has resource to put it in the store house. Thanks for finding that.
@ardorugus Thanks for playing. Designing ui can be tricky. We originally had the resources at the top. We felt that since your eyes are mostly at the bottom to put the resources there too. Really, the game needs a proper tutorial and icons and color for the resources.
@todward Thanks for playing. That was an issue with smithing. Didn't have time to change it. We would just ring the ring and then pick the commands.
@oramun Thanks for the feedback. Some of those issues were fixed in the update version.
@gnevesdev Thanks for the comments.
@cripsybun Did you try the update version? Some of the issues were fixed.
@re-lo Thanks for the feedback. The management aspect of the game needs some work.
@borderdestroyer Thanks. It's also fun to name the villagers.
@ndhr-productions Thanks for playing. The game does need like a context menu.
@zubspace Thanks for playing. If you ring the bell all the villagers will come and it's a little easier to manage them.
Nice game. I liked the style. Maybe some more digging was needed.
Nice visuals for the game. I just really didn't like the controls for it. It was too frustrating.
Neat ideas in the game. Had a hard time surviving. Working with the potatoes was difficult. Maybe there needs to be a radius for the arrows.
Made me think of sim ant. I think controlling the ants need some work. It felt like too many clicks to do something. Keep improving it and I think you have a good idea.
Good game. I feel like the it should go faster.
The was idea was good, but I had a difficult time building the sub. I think there should be move input for this game. Wasn't sure want to build. When I finally figure out what to build, it wouldn't let me place the last room because it was unreachable. I didn't know why it was unreachable. I placed it next to the others. But it take a while to sell and build things because everything is done by keypress. Also, I think R should be rotate and Q to cancel.
Liked the effects and the music. A very chill game.
It was fun controlling the dolphin. I liked jumping out of the water. The art was nice. My highest points was when I just went straight down.
Nice job. When you end the level on the stairs you can't go and get the hp potion.
@cloudlunar you must have a villager selected in order to build. When I first started making it, the build indicator wouldn't show at all unless you had a selected villager. This made it tedious to keep clicking the build button. I should have should it red if a villager was not selected.
@taximan981 thanks for playing. Easy is really easy. Normal isn't too bad either. But hard and unstable are almost impossible.
@daniel-eduardo-martinez Thanks for playing. I put in multi selection at the last minute. Wasn't going to have that at all.
@linus-szokody you are right about the build system. I didnt get around to. I first just wanted it to where you could only select one character. At the last minute I added the multi select. It did make the game harder and feel more frantic when you could only select on villager.
@animalx we made the voice low so it would be like Warcraft 2. I was thinking that for the food also.
@kerrindor The rumbling idea would have been nice. I didnt have the time for all the sound I wanted. I should have done a camera shake effect.
@twistedhawk Thanks for comparing it to Animal Crossing. That would be a neat idea.
@zet It does have a good rts feel.
Nice job with this puzzle game. I was stuck forever on the seafarer's level, but I figured it out!
The graphics were well done. I liked exploring. I just wasn't sure what to do or whether there was a puzzle or not. I think I just needed more direction.
Nice game. I liked the graphics and the pixel destruction. Boomerangs are overpowered. I couldn't get past 3 upgrades. Never could get enough legacy points even though I survived the entire time. A health potion drop would be nice or course with boomerangs I didn't even need to move my character.
Nice mode and good interaction. I just struggled to know what to do. Some of the text to display took a while, but I didn't know I needed to wait for more text. Good job with the content.
Good mood and sound. I liked the art style. The game might be a little too easy for a survival game. I was also able to use the radio without being in the room.
Good job with this little adventure. It was fun trying to figure things out.
For some reason, I was not getting any energy. Not sure why. I didn't see any people moving in the base. The graphics were pretty good.
Some interesting mechanisms. The rewind was a nice feature. I think the movement of the tank could be faster and some kind of radar. The enemies were able to hit me off-screen. It might not be a problem if the tank could move faster.
A good story with some interesting choices. Would have liked to have seen more choices though at the beginning.
Neat idea. Maybe there could have been more choices with the cards instead of just two.
Nice graphics. I think the controls could be worked on. I think the character should face the direction of the mouse. I often found myself swinging in the wrong direction.
Liked the graphics. It was fun trying to doge the enemy.
When I play games, I tend to first just play the game without reading the instructions to see if I can figure it out. I thought you had to bring the bunnies together first because of the hearts. I thought that was a good thijng. lol. I did play it correctly and it is challenging. I could see this as part of a bunch of mini-games that you could make with the cute bunnies. You did such a great job with the art!
Good game. Like trying to figure out the best move.
Very good game. I liked the retro feel of the game. It felt like I was playing one of my old games on the Atari 800 computer.
Nice job with the game. I liked the puzzle aspect of it. The movement could be worked on a little. I liked the audio as well.
Nice job. Reminded my of an old Atari game called Defender. You could probably add some indication that the enemy was hit.
Good job with this game. The graphics were nice and the audio. Controls felt pretty good.
Good job with some of the visuals. I liked the music. It could have used some sound effects though. There are some good concepts here. It would be nice if you could fly up and see what you created.
Nice shop with just a short time.
Liked the dark fade on the enemies. Could have used more power ups.
Nice job with this game. When you get a lot of ducks it really helps. But as soon as you start losing them you have to really try hard not to get overwhelmed.
Nice game. The art style was good. Liked the nod to Ms. Pacman. I think the jumping needs some work. I felt the character moved really fast, but then couldn't really jump well. But, it was fun playing.
You have a very good system here. It would be great to expand. It really inspires me to make a text adventure game. This is like the 3rd or 4th one I have played in this game.
Nice job with this simulation game. I think you did pretty well with just one person working on it. The art looks good and the controls were nice. Wasn't too sure what I was doing in the game, but I appreciate the attempt to make a simulation game during a jam.
Nice animations with the slimes. Could use some UI improvement. I accidently closed the game when I thought it was to close the window.
Nice job with this game. The zombies were not attacking me at all. You might want to add to the ai if the zombie gets hit it will agro the player.
Nice work. The shooting felt really good. Interesting way to combine two genres into one game.
I liked going through the house. The art style was good. Maybe include more weapons and levels. Good job!
My high score was 125770.6. I just focused on the time and nothing else. The music works really well with this game. I could see you making a bunch of mini-games for this.
Good job with the art style. I think there should be an indicator if a monster on the side of you is close. Like if it's to the right, the right arrow would flash.
Fun text adventure. Well done. It inspires me to make one as well.
The nice art style and neat idea. I liked becoming small to go to certain places. But if you become too small then the game is over. I think it could use more animation, especially with the eating.
Very interesting game. I did not make a good leader :) I like how it feels different from a lot of other games for the game.
Good game. Interesting idea with some fun mechanism. It was a little hard to control your own vehicle though.
Nice idea. I liked the idea, but I felt the maps were a little too random. On one try I had no problem getting all my pieces across. On the next level, I had defeated two pieces after two turns, but by the sixth or seventh move, all the floors to the exit were gone. I had one level that was impossible. It only had 2 tiles for the exit they went away within 4 turns. I do think this game has some good ideas and can be fun to play.
I did miss that part about being next to tiles. Was that that in the dialog? Maybe I didn't read it carefully. I knew the levels were getting harder. I'll try it again. Thanks.
Well done with this game. Making 3D for a compo can be a challenge. I had fun playing the game.
Well done with your game. The reach on my character was amazing. Maybe you can just click on a resource to harvest.
Nice work! I liked the GTA 2 look. It was cool having the horde of zombies following you.
I think I need 8 mouse pointers for this game:) Nice job with it. I like the illustrations.
Nice platformer with good jumping and other features such as your snowball getting smaller. Wasn't sure about using the mouse for tossing or if there was a difference between that and jumping. The sounds and music were great.
Nice game. I liked the rolling. I think more variations in the enemies would be good and maybe some way to get health.
I liked the teleport mechanism for your puzzle game. The art style was good.
Nice Visuals with the game. I think you could really expand on the idea of this game.
Very good visuals. I liked how the stems grew towards the sun, but you wanted to not be too close or it would burn. The changing from day to night was good also.
Nice game. I got to 2:05. I think the gun should have been closer.
Good job for your first Ludum Dare. I made a resource management game last Jam.
I was able to do different difficulties so people could experience the game. Like easy was pretty much a sandbox.
Good game play. I was trying so hard for them not to take my trophies.
Nice job! I liked how the character moved throughout the scene. I kept getting fired because I was too busy dancing :)
Nice job with the environment. Cut scenes were entertaining.
@stamestratagem that's so great! I love how much money you have. There is a point where you can lose. I'm going to add a feature that increases the amount of coins it cost to continue. Also going to had obstacles like a spike ball that would cause you to lose coins. They would appear in later runs. Tell others about this game.
@sodoj I think I will develop it. @andy-beers The movement to side was done on purpose because there is a card that allows for faster movement. The card animation is not correct. The animation begins and the card is placed in your hand already. A queuing system might be good, but I do like think about what to play. I plan on having the cost to replay increase as well as making it harder as you gain more and more coins. Kinda like level when you reach a certain amount of coins.
@tescoone Thanks for your feedback. It can be a little tricky at first. I think it is a game that you get better as you know the cards better. Most of the upgrades are timed based. This way I could make more powerful versions of those cards. I might add some cards that would be last in further rounds, but that might make it too easy. There's already players that are getting more than 2000 coins and 30 lives.
@zimny11 Thanks so much. I do plan on developing it and all your ideas I plan to use. Most have been mentioned or I thought of already, but your idea of permanent bonuses that you need to have coins sounds really good. Thinking of having a level progression as you collect more coins.
@jovialknoll Thanks for the feedback. I think I tried too hard to fit the theme. I wanted the character to die right away and let the player try using the cards for more control. I didn't want it to where the player could easily collect the cards without having to use a card.
@eli-delventhal I think it is very different. Wasn't really sure how good it would be. You are right about some of the decisions making during the game. I will be developing this game. @nanolotl That's what I wanted. I want the user to play cards to control the character and the environment. @infecsean I do like the character and how he was able to also guide the player a little.
@sodoj @lectvs @ballen @zimny11 @nanolotl @tescoone @infecsean @andy-beers @jovialknoll @jesus-gonzalez @eli-delventhal @slurpeethief @ballen @stamestratagem @delightfullymad Thanks again for playing. I know everyone is pretty busy, but I wanted to see if I could get some feedback on the art. I do like the style of a retro arcade game, but do you think it will be better if I make it more cartoonish?
@bentglasstube Thanks for playing. You are probably right about the first level is too short. I kinda wanted it for the theme. After a little practice, it's not too bad. Might make like a beginner's level with specific cards you start with to help. I think most people want to be able to grab all the coins right away, but I want the player to rely on playing the cards and figuring out how to get the coins after they have died. Thanks for playing.
@ribout-horace Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to have more feedback but ran out of time. Some cards have to be removed after playing like the "Life". I did have some ideas for cards that would last from fall to fall.
@pordrack I'm glad you like it. You are right that the magnet feels weak. When you play it, it only collects coins near it once at a certain radius. Probably need an animation that shows the coins coming to you. But there is a more powerful version of it. I want to add a card that increases your grab distance for a certain amount of time.
@0x746564 Thanks for playing. There are sometimes when there are not enough coins. It's kinda why you want to buy cards that add more coins to the level. I do plan on developing this game. I fixed the drawing of cards and increased the continued cost. I'm working to add obstacles. I think after I add everything I want to, then I will focus on balance for the game.
@ConradoClark Thanks for playing. I will probably increase the speed a little. I also might add a bonus if you clear the level of all coins it will repopulate the level with coins. I have a lot more ideas that can be added to this game that I'm currently working on.
@etchell I definitely need to work on the balance of the game. I want the player to make a deck for the way they want to play. Thanks for the great feedback.
@rubixnoob13 Thanks for playing. Making that character was one of the first things I thought of. I think it adds a little personality to the tutorial.
@ehon I wasn't really sure how it would turn out. I want to try to make a deckbuilding game with a twist. I'm glad I was able to make it and that people are having fun.
@ddrkirbyisq I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I plan to add obstacles in later levels to where moving side to side might be important.
@the-nacho It is addicting. It's fun trying to collect all the coins. I've already fixed the draw card and they work better. I plan to redo alot of the art and animations.
@timur-bahadir Thanks for playing. It is a very different approach to a deck building game.
@phil-c Thanks so much for playing and enjoying it. If you click the ok while the dialogue goes it speeds it up and the sound stops. I will need to fix the sound volume for it. I wanted the game to start with the user dying right away to kinda fit the theme. It also helps the player to realize that they have to use the cards to help control the falling and enviroment.
@noiyy Thanks for the feedback. I will be adding a lot more to the progression of the game with different levels and the cost incrementing.
@elimarable Thanks for playing and enjoying the game. I plan to improve the balance of the game with the movement speed and how long the initial stage is.
@mharring Thanks for the feedback. I might try having the cards on the side, but the player might lose focus of them. I do plan to add a little radar to help know what side of the screen coins will be on.
@pkzinpo I also like how the combination of cards were made. Once I had the basic idea, it was really easy to make different cards.
Good job with this chess-like puzzle game. You did a good job programming the opponent.
Good strategy game. I liked how you could control units and move them on hexes. I know how challenging it can be to program that as well as the AI for your game. I think there should be more indicators for the actions you select. Like if I select a ranged weapon maybe the mouse pointer changes or an animation will show on the unit you are about to attack.
The art style was nice. Maybe aiming should have been with a mouse. I just stayed at the bottom of the screen and moved back and forth and was able to stop the fire.
I like how you were able to make this game for the Jam. The music was nice. I think the art to use some polish. I also think there should have been a simple click and do something first. Maybe in the first room, you find something on the floor and then use it right way. It will make people feel like they are doing a job (I'm not really good at these types of game:))
Nice job with the world building. Some of the animations looked really good, but I think the attack swing could be better. I think the enemies need some kind of drop system or level up system.
The controls were pretty good. It would be cool to have a landing mechanism added to the game. Like you have to fly to a landing pad before your fuel runs out.
Interesting jumping game. I liked the visuals and the concept. I know the comments have been moving to the beat, but I just moved when the rain wasn't going to hit me.
Good job with this puzzle game. It took a while to figure it out. I think a beginner's level would have been good. The beginner's level could be short and let the player know that they need to move on traps when they fire off. You really have to think about the time of how the traps and bullets work.
Like the sprites and the music. I played it first not knowing what to do and the humans were fine crossing the road by themselves. When I figured out the controls it was actually harder:) I think there are some great ideas here.
Nice job trying to create something new out of a solitaire game. I'm not sure how much strategy there is to being able to setup the tableau before playing. It felt a little tedious. Maybe if more cards are drawn and then you can rearrange those cards. Like draw 5 cards at a time and set those up.
Nice job! I liked the look. It felt like an old Atari game. It did feel like the store was built on an ice rink. I was sliding all over the place. Sometimes the package went through the customers. It took me a few tries before I realized that the edges of the map were shelves. I thought I was getting the package from the guy in the bottom left corner:) I did have fun playing though.
Nice work with the story and the atmosphere. I thought the end was funny!
I'm not sure why but the gun was above my head. I stood in one place and just kept shooting as a cowboy would land on my head. Had fun playing.
Nice take on the theme. Fun little mini games
Nice job with this RTS game. I made one by mistake in the last LD event. You had to build a village that was near a Volcano that had lava randomly come near the village.
The artwork is very good. It's cool your team was able to put this adventure story together. I do think some of the audio could be worked on. Good job!
Good job with this shooting game. The graphics look good and the audio was nice. I liked the little upgrade system. Maybe could use some more. Nicely done overall.
Good job with the gameplay and graphics. Reminded me of the cell stage of Spore. The jumping to lily pads was a little challenging at first but was fun.
Nice puzzle game. Good level designs.
Really interesting combining flicking with pinball. The graphics and sound fit nicely.
Good job with this game. I liked the different modes of the game. The sound seemed pretty good for it. It did like the physics of each item. I do think the points are too random or need to be changed on how you get points.
Nice story. Liked the different choices and different endings. Maybe you can add more to it.
Nice jump with the 3d platformer.
Good little crafting game. Some of the resources looked a little too similar. Maybe some text to let the user know what each item is. Good job!
Nice job with this game. Very interesting mechanic with timing the firing of the laser. I love how you did the audio and that you had didn't tracks for each level.
Took a while to know what to do. I didn't realize I was going through a tutorial and had to do certain things. The graphics were good. The idea is neat. It's like a resource management upgrading space invaders game. Good job.
Good job with the graphics, sound, and mood. I feel bad for the driver.
Not too bad. You had to time it just right to destroy the asteroids.
Good job with this. Maybe I should not have built a Snow castle in the desert! :)
Interesting game. I like the mix of mechanisms. It's a neat strategy game mixed with tower defense.
Good job. The sprites looked good. I really wanted to chomp down those trees with my axe :) I think there needs to be diagonal movement.
I liked the idea of moving to a spot where you know the cops will not go. You try your best to time it right. The different modes were good. Easy was probably the sweet spot. Good job!
Nice game. I like how the time extends when you kill a zombie. I also didn't realize how to reload the first few times. I think the sprite shouldn't rotate. I did have some zombies spawn almost right on top of me. You might want to have a distance from the player to spawn the zombie.
Nice job with your game. The art style was good. I think the movement could be improved a little bit. Overall pretty solid.
Nice job with the game. The music was pretty cool. I loved when the ball was between two platforms and bounce back and forth. It was fun to watch and hear with the sfx. I was able to bounce up by hitting the sides of the platforms. You might want to use some ray casting to detect whether the ball hit the side or the top of the platform.
Nice little boss battle game. Liked the art. The control scheme for the keyboard could be different.
Good stop-time mechanic. Maybe the characters could be smaller.
At first, I thought I was supposed to find the robots. I didn't realize the number in the corner was a timer. I thought it was the number of robots. After I figured that out, I did like trying to hide from the robots and sneak up on their factories and destroy those. Of course, I'm not sure if I'm destroying them or not or if it does anything at all. It greys out, but I don't know if robots keep spawning there. I wasn't going to wait near the base to find out :) I think more features could be added.
Your game is similar to the game I made with my daughter who did the artwork. I like the art style and selling the eggs. My game you have to sell the creatures. Nice job
Love the music and art work. It was fun watching them race. Wish there were some sound effects.
Fun little game. Liked the different music for the different weapons.
Like the look of the game. I liked how it was random each time.
Wasn't sure the best way to setup the babies. Seemed a little random. Neat idea though.
Nice deck builder with some good polish.
@sofy They said thank you! The daughter that did the sprite work has only been doing it for less than a month. She doesn't really draw much either. She's only in middle school. I'm proud of both of them.
@destiny2028 Lol. I had fun making all of those and my daughter did an amazing job drawing them.
@thomas-yanuziello @enjl I ran out of time and couldn't make it easier. At first, it was super easy, so it really didn't matter if you took care of them or not. I tried fixing it, but it became difficult. I'm going to try to get a better balance and upload that version.
@notalobster @lavendaggers @marcodeevil My daughter did such a great job with them!
@enjl Thanks for the advice! I'll have to try it.
@phantom49 Everything is super cute! I loved the poop so much I decided to make it move around.
@borka Thanks for playing! I really wanted everything to feel alive. Like the flowers and rocks animate. Also the poop moves around.
@kujoen I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was going have a shop for the game to buy extra blues or reds, but didn't have enough time. My daughter made the sprite for it too. I'm glad the controls worked as well as they do. It can be tricky with this type of game.
@goateejoe I'm glad you have fun playing. They really enjoyed being part of the jam.
@wendy222 Thanks so much. The poop was fun to make.
@yani Thanks for playing this cute game! I might publish it on itch.io. Not going to spend too much time updating or changing it. I might change how money is earned and have a shop for buying stuff. But I might wait until the rating come out. I recorded all the programming and will be uploading it to my YouTube channel. You can check out my channel here : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC90QUyv0iavA_VgcHUeUCIQ
@baylock Thanks for playing! It was tough getting good sfx with not enough time.
@davidsheadgames it is a little chaotic. It was hard to try to balance the game. I knew the game would be over if the blue or red died off or you sell them. I was going to add a shop to buy eggs. Had the art for it, but ran out of time.
@etherianx Thanks for the comments. Hopefully I'll be able to balance the game to where it doesn't feel overwhelming.
@defilerzero I'm so sorry your poor blue creature didn't get food. I think I need a proper tutorial.
@skeptes @commanderzzx it is cute! My daughter did a great job with it. I drew some concept art and my daughters picked the cutest.
Good job with your first Jam. 3d can be tough, but it was pretty good. Probably could have included a reply button.
Seems like a dream job!
Visual style was great. Sound is good. Wasn't sure what I was doing though.
Good job! The character was a little slippery. I liked the rotation!
Fun clicker game. I made a creature game too where you take care of the creatures and they lay eggs with new creatures.
Fun idea! Liked the art work. The 10 seconds worked well in this game. I think the player could move a little faster and some more levels would be great.
Neat idea. Liked the card styles and the music. Felt very chilled.
Nice stealth game. Liked the visuals but felt the camera angle could be changed. Maybe also add a minimap.
Nice game! I liked the UI and the music was good.
Reminded me of the game I made in the last Ludum Dare event. Good job!
Good job with a 3d auto-fighter game. I like the idea and think you can expand it. I felt like the character moved to quick at the beginning and you really didn't need to level up movement.
Good job learning UE5.
Liked this clicker game! Really simple and implemented well.
Nice 3d graphics and lighting. I did like the controls. They felt different, not too difficult, and took a little time to learn them. Would have liked a little sound in the game and maybe some more levels. Good job.
Nice arcade game. The music and sound are great! The presentation is good too.
I had a lot of fun with this. Probably the best I have played. I really liked how you took a factory game and mixed it with letters and spelling. I'm sure you could come up with a really fun game with more possibilities. I used the cutter on all the words. That way I could use any letter and not have to reset anything.
Wasn't sure what to do at first and then I read some comments. I liked how the idea of dragging the cows with the beam, however I think the ship could move a little faster.
Good job with the artwork and theme. Not sure how to upgrade the oven. Would like to see order request.
Nice job with this entry. Pretty easy to learn how to play. I figured out that after the trees spawn you could make your way to the corner and spam the fire and then harvest all the trees at once. Maybe the flames shouldn't destroy the apple projectiles.
I really liked the mechanics of throwing the frail and it returning. The upgrades were nice. Of course I got to a point where they were a shield and nothing could hurt me. Probably need a limit to the numbers of frails. This might be fun as a platformer.
I made it to level 3 and have no idea how. I think you should add an explanation on this game page to help out. I'm not sure what I'm equalizing. I think placing a number on the tiles would help. But, it was interesting and I wish I knew what I was doing.
Fun arcade game. I liked the sprite work and animation. Maybe you could add little indicators of where he will throw the fruit before he throws them. That way it wouldn't feel too random maybe. Good job!
Great job with the flying controls! I wish the map was a little bigger.
Great job with this game. I also made a card/dice game and know how hard it can be to make one and then try to explain how to play.
Cool tactical game. I like the use of cards and building your small deck. Those chickens are tough. I liked how they attacked the worms!
Dang those cats are fast :) I enjoyed chasing cats. It made me feel like I was the Ghost from pacman.
I liked the sliders for the game although at first, I didn't know they were sliders. Would like to see more choices for upgrades to try different thinks.
@sonicpixelation Thanks for playing. Probably added too much and I had more I wanted to add. It's a little harder trying to make a card/board game.
@taikinaaa Thanks for playing.
@savidiy the symbols on the right of the card are used to match programs(underneath the picture) on other cards. For example, a card that has a "code" program(underneath the picture) needs another card that has a "code" symbol to the right. I probably needed to highlight those areas during the game.
@echo-gameworks Thanks for playing. I probably add too much although I don't feel like it's too complicated.
@d3kryption I think the best part is making the different games. It's was the idea I started with. Glad the video helped. It's difficult to explain a game that probably most people just want to play it quickly.
@atmospherium I play a bunch of board games and tried to borrow mechanics from different ones. Originally I wasn't going to have the cards be used to finish programs. I changed it because you would then have a reason to draw them. Still some bugs in my one game :)
@lfreinoso It helped that I had a clear idea for the game and schedule for making it. I did make a song, but got rid of it because it was annoying and distracting. Tried to match a font to old 8bit nes atari games. Thanks for playing and the comments.
@bastienre4 Thanks for play. There was a lot to explain.
@mephistase I'm glad you were able to learn how to play and enjoyed it!
@ffrusik glad you liked it
@commanderstitch thanks for playing. I really enjoyed making my own card/dice game. I had more ideas for it, such as goals that you could earn bonus points.
@kekkodude @loiclegrosfrere I just posted a video of me playing on my YouTube channel yesterday and the main menu didn't work for me either. Lol. I do need to fix a lot and put in a different end screen and maybe a goal for scoring points. Never enough time in a jam. I greatly appreciate the feedback and hoped you enjoyed playing.
Nice job with this clicker game. It's the second one I've played so far. I like the speed controls and the random events, although I thought they occurred too often.
I liked upgrading the ship by using what you destroyed. Would have liked it where you could have more than one enemy gun. Also, I now have your song stuck in my head :)
Good card battle game. Had to figure it out a little, but enjoyed it. The art is very good. A few UI issues but nothing terrible.
I liked the mix of 2d and 3d. The humor was.
Nice game. I liked trying to figure out an optimal path to gain blood/sanity.
I liked mixing Pipe Dream with Tetris. The controls were very well done. Great art and music!
Nice puzzle game. I liked the difficulty of the levels. They were not too hard which is nice for a Game Jam.
Good job making this 3d game. The different levels are good. I think the controls good be improved.
Neat god game. I think showing the effects such as the rain, lightning, and tornado would add a lot to the game.
Good job with your Ludum Dare. Keep on improving!
@tomrijnbeek @axelle-desquilbet Thank you both for playing the game and the feedback. I had spent 13 hours during the jam making two other games that I didn't like and then made this one. I think that's why it's hard to understand it and some poor designing.
@corporation Thanks for playing. I knew the game feedback would be needed, but I just different have time for it.
@lisyarus Sorry about that. There is probably a null reference happening with the game and causing them not to work. Maybe try it again and see if it works. I would fix it but just lost power at my house.
@lisyarus I think know what it is. I think it's working but the text is not updating. Did you use the Google link or the download? Maybe one as the version with the text not work. I thought I replaced them both last night.
@lisyarus Thanks for trying it again. There is logic to the trains movement, but I should have explained how they move. They always go in the direction they were head. If the can't and they have a choice there is an order, right, down, left, and then up.
Rally good job. I liked the look and feel of the game. This would have made a good 7DRL game. I made a game as well were you had to destroy the villagers.
Very good game. Like strategy in the game and the different combos. The art works was well done also.
Great job with your first solo game jam. It can be tough. Liked the style and the music. The game was pretty chill. Would liked to have more than 6 days.
Nice job. Maybe needed some feedback when it doesn't summon and could use a reset button.
Really well made game. The art and sound were really good. Summoning by drawing worked great. Way to go!
Nice art and audio. I think the enemies came out too fast and I was just frantically placing stuff with no thought.
Nice game. Beat each stage. Well done!
Nice puzzle game. I liked the idea.
@outstar Thanks for play. I did some rebalaning and going to post it here. Earthquakes are 700 now. Tornadoes do more damage. Crystals can be a little further from buildings. After 100 villagers I was able to destroy them all.
@beebster-games Thanks for playing. I enjoyed making the game.
@zarukara I'm glad you liked. @josion Thanks for playing. I'm currently working on my Steam game Conqueror of Time. It was a gae that I made for the 7DRL game jam. @lelek-hunor-kadosa I love when they building their city and fill the whole map with their building. And then I send the wolves after them.
@sampai they are fun to watch. They actual have a spouse and the couple will build their own home and have kids. Children go to the school. If they are hungry they go to the farm.
@alex4101 sorry it does scale right. Not sure why. @lisek-gagatek thanks for playing. The balance version you can build crystal further from buildings. Atleast 5 tiles away. Try not building all the crystals rightness to each other. @trevor-lentz @nbumgardner I like adding the cheat button in Game Jams just in case the game is too difficult. There is never any time to play test. I'm glad you liked the music. Trade it real quick at the last minute.
@redoxeide I got the same feeling from the game. It's sim city disaster mode.
@jefvel Wow! 117 crystals. Nice job! Towers are really tough to take out. Spamming wolves is how I beat the game as well. @dan-allison Thanks for the comment. It's like simcity but only with destruction.
@kevvy I played a game where there was one villager left after they had built a huge city. I felt sorry for her for a little bit and then a meteor fell on her. @digital-bacon Thanks for playing. The meteors are useful against buildings. I also let the tornado laying waste.
@retrific Thanks for the comment. It is always hard to balance a game during a jam. That's why I added a cheat button :)
Great job with this strategy game. It's a neat idea. I liked seeing my soldiers attack and you don't have direct control over them.
Nice graphics and good idea. I would get rid off the bankrupt and have coins automatically go to your total money.
I enjoyed playing. I liked shoot down the orcs. Would have liked to have been able to walk around the whole screen and maybe orcs can come from all directions. I read your profile an I'm impressed with how long you have being programming. Great job!
Nice art style. Everything worked well. Wish there was a little more to the game though.
Nice submission. The audio and graphics were good. I liked the different summons. Maybe more orbs could be spawned.
Very challenging. I like all the combinations and the setting of rules. Took awhile to know what to do and there is probably a lot you can do with this.
Really fun game! I enjoy NES games and this really feels like one. What software did you use to make it?
I got to wave 28 before those tanks rolled in. This was fun.
Nice simulation. I remember playing Sim Ant when I was int middle school. There's something enjoyable about watching ants. Good job!
Like the graphics and the movement of the ants. I couldn't find the sandwich, but I liked the idea.
@matt-swieboda I've added a slider to add a modifier to the carnivores attacking. Attacking is affected by the size of the creature.
@icxon Thanks for playing. I'm really glad I changed how the graphics and it makes the different colors. Here's a video I uploaded to my channel:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpjWGiwkeW0
@mars It's really fun just to watch to see what happens. I'm always surprised and like coming up with stories for the creatures
@zype I'm really happen how the graphics came out. I tried one style and did like it. The glow effects really adds to the atmosphere of the game.
@j0ye Thanks for playing. It does need to give more feedback to the player. I need to add maybe different animations for eating and fighting. Of course as I work on it the simulation will change and include more.
@lelulagames The creatures just spawn in a random position if you haven't meet the creature cap. This is more a simulation then a game. What you could do is start a simulation with no creatures and and some through the creature creator.
@thesmellofoxygen Thanks for playing. It definitely needs that just didn't have enough time for it.
@cortez Thanks so much for playing. I'm glad you still tried it even though it's not your style. M.E.S is just a simulator and you more just watch to see what happens.
Nice battle game. I like how you included many abilities
Neat puzzle game. I liked the graphics and the audio of the robots.
Nice idea for the theme. I think an indicator of where you are shooting would help.
This reminded me of Lemmings. Like the idea. I could see you making more levels for this game.
Neat little game. Would like to see an upgrade system.
I really liked the art style. Building the towers upwards was different for tower defense games. Good job with this entry.
Great mechanics and a great brain burner. The more levels would be nicer, but the sandbox mode is fun. I was really surprised with the numbers of machines. For me, the dragging the wires didn't work well. It would stop about half way through. Also, after placing a machine I couldn't move it.
Nice kill ants game. I liked using the environment to block the ants. The different type of ants are good. Maybe change smashing the ants to clicking instead of 's'.
Nice graphic style. I feel like the character could move quicker. It was tough to dodge and attack
Nice little puzzle game! Good job
@thisyc Thanks for playing. I wanted more interactions with the troops, but not enough time since I did the whole thing in 12 hours.
Neat idea. I liked the visuals and the explorattion
Great exploration game
Really nice and fun. I liked the look and feel of the game.
The idea seems good. It was hard to figure out. I think when you use the drill the camera should follow the drill so you can see what it is doing.
Fun little. Very simple and enjoyable to play.
I'm impressed with the 3d space game. I do think the controls are a little odd. I'm not sure why the mouse wasn't used for aiming your ship. But, I did have have flying.
Nice job with this game. Could use some polish with the jumping. There was no way to dodge bullets.
