we need a shotgun to start it better
This game is really clever! It was interesting having to make ethical decisions and figure out my rules for who I would kill to save whom. I also thought the dialogue was funny when I tried refusing and ending the game :p
изображение_2023-01-09_235127326.png There is a place on map where you can get stuck. Be aware of rocks :) Actually, I liked this gsme bc It seem to be simple but with really cool mechanic
Good work with the theme, ethical questions and soundtrack! In my opinion game could benefit from smaller location and less walking
What a dark but funny and very awesome game. I love it. It runs beautifully and the 2.5D style graphics are gorgeous. I also got caught in a rock. Without a knife to cut the caught body part off (like that mountain climber did years ago!) i'll have either starved to death or get eaten alive by wolves. Great game!
@zidoolan @unkilledshadow135-alex hahaha yeah this was my first attempt at collision detection, definitely have a lot to learn there! Really appreciate you playing and the thoughtful feedback! Performance was a big concern, so happy to hear the engine is performing well :D
@aisus Thanks for playing! note taken, I think if the world had more thoughtful content it would feel better to explore. As it stands its entirely generated (and maybe too big considering that), with one easter egg exception ;)
@maymay hehe yay! glad you enjoyed it and found those silly endings :D
It's a very dark but funny game. I love the idea of organ harvesting
I liked your take on the theme and the dark humor of the dialogue. I wondered if maybe a mini-map would help in navigation? And a shotgun. Those wolves are mean :D
Very dark game ! I get eat by a wolfe sadly, next time i will go home
An interesting game for sure. The huge game world was interesting and finding little secrets like Ad was pretty neat. The theme is definitely there and there is a consistent, mysterious atmosphere throughout. I think it'd be nice to have things like stabbing or fighting wolves be tied to little minigames of some kind since leaving it totally up to random chance is kind of frustrating when you finally find the person you're looking for only for you to miss your stab and have to go back to looking.
Thanks for playing @Orhu ! It's really cool to hear you thought of minigames! that was one of my stretch goals too, I really love games like Tomato Adventure, and Paper Mario and wanted to bring that agency into this game. Appreciate the thoughtful feedback, I'll have to revisit this <3
@JoshH hahah thanks for playing and the feedback! Shotguns weren't really the vibe we were going for but I hear you on the wolves, overall I think we ended up with a harder game than we really wanted :D
@minakorii hehe, those wolves are cute until they spot ya! Thank you for playing!
I'm shocked that this game is still in the danger zone! It's such an innovative concept to me, I loved it! The sound could do some work, and the art although simple, has it's little charm to it. The fact that you have to pay attention to stuff like the organ size, expiration and even the blood compatibility is fascinating to me! It brings me back to my recent biology classes and I'm really happy how they went for accuracy. It made me stick around to play more. There were some small moments where I got slightly frustrated with the RNG aspect, especially when I was going down back home and 5 wolves started chasing in total haha, but hey RNG can raise the steaks in a game, I get it, so it didn't ruin the experience for me. I'm really excited to see where the game will go from here. I wish you the best of luck with it!
I thank you for the lesson in blood type compatibility! This is a very important topic (as you know). :D
This one was definitely a challenge, for a few reasons! Firstly, the search across so many variables to find a match is tough (which is a good education about the reality of organ donors ...). Secondly, the wolves were a bit rough, especially when moving south. Without being able to see ahead of you, you really just hoped you were retracing your steps enough. Definitely a challenge!
There were a few times that I was certain I had found a match, but when I got back, the size didn't match. Are you sure there isn't a bug?? I found a O- large body on my last run, narrowly avoided wolves on the way back, only to find the organs were marked as small :(
All in all, I found this title VERY interesting to play. The dialogue was also a joy to read (as you know). Thank you for this!!
I liked the mix of 2d and 3d. The humor was.
Interesting game! I wonder if there could be a good way to force the player into the more ethics-pondering portions of the game, because as it stands, I just walked around to look for a match and then stabbed them, completely ignoring the dialogue options.
