Nice game! Was pretty spooky at first ill be honest, I didn't know what I was exactly supposed to be afraid of but I was definitely afraid. I really like the idea of the enemy being a painting, it was super eerie the first playthrough looking behind me to see what was chasing me and not knowing what it was going to be. I also like the themed mechanic of you only being safe for 10 seconds before it starts to chase you again. Really puts you on edge to get as far away as possible.

My main criticisms are that the mechanic isn't coded incredibly well, sometimes I would reach a button early and press it, only to find out it didnt reset the timer and i'd die super quickly which happened on my first playthrough and I was incredibly confused as I hadn't really figured out the enemy just yet. Secondly, while the enemy is inactive, it shouldnt be able to kill me. Theres a button in the third or fourth room that is right next to the painting and I ended up dying to it when the timer was still active.

Great game though, I loved it.

Thank you for your feedback! I agree that timer is a bit confusing, I made it just to better match the theme but I'll change it for sure in the post-jam version.

Not a fan of horror games, but I enjoyed it, it had a great mood, the stylistic choice and moving furniture was, a bit funny, but it worked well.

Great game! The horror is done well and the level is fun to explore!

Oh wow. You managed to create horror out of few things. That was a thrilling ride!

Horror was pretty good. I liked running through the rooms. It was a little hard to move around objects.

Definitely had the spooky vibe!! Great sound design, especially in the introduction.

The cracked mirrors ended up being a little more goofy than spooky, maybe down to them bugging through walls. For example, the first one spawned in the door that I opened, so it was less of a surprise and more of a "is this supposed to be here? Is it a glitch?" Maybe scripting their introduction would give more of a spooky effect, such as the player walking toward one, and it starts moving unexpectedly.

The lamps seemed to move only when I didn't have the light on them, and that was definitely a good effect.

All in all, I think the design was smart. Hunting for the light switch to make all the spooks disappear was very motivating! Great job!
