Love the ragdoll at the end!
The animations are great, looks good, feels good, plays good, it feels like a nice take on Temple Run || *chef's kiss*
I got over 3 KM on my first try! Would like to see infinite top speed!
Liked the cinematic start.
Cool idea with the cutscene at the start, really like it, though I'd add a skip option after first time. I don't know if it's just me, but I'd say the vine hitboxes are a little bit off sometimes.
3KM? I got only 1227 meters :)..great game. had a lot of fun! hitting the right buttons was quite hard for me, maybe a slower pace there. also it would be great to skip the intro sequence on retry. Nice work!
I really loved the presentation of the game, how the game stops to tell you to dodge and the manga style image in that moment.
The music is awesome and the effects are quite fun.
Thanks for this entry I really enjoyed playing it :)
I think a lot of people had the idea of an endless runner but in my opinion, you pulled off one of the best! The relatively straightforward camera and time manipulation were great to add some flow and fun to the game. In my opinion, adjusting the camera angle slightly and maybe not having the vines behind you in permanent view (see, for example, Subway Surfers, where the inspector disappears behind you after a while and only catches back up when you make a mistake) could add a bit to the readability of the game. Otherwise great job and a special compliment for the animation, looks very nice for a jam game!
Nice cinematic, smooth gameplay, good stuff!
Well done with this game. Making 3D for a compo can be a challenge. I had fun playing the game.
This was a really good job, and even more impressive that it's in compo! It's a well implemented endless runner, and then adding extra mechanics after a minute was a really good choice to keep it interesting.
Really fun to play. I like that you added the extra little cinematic at the beginning with the vines consuming the skyscrapers. It sets the scene quite nicely.
A neat little game, especially for a compo :) The camera movement felt a bit slidey, I wonder if it might have felt better if it was more stationary instead of trying to centre the character but apart from that it was overall a fun entry, good job!
Cool game, I really liked the tutorial; how it stopped and let you push the arrows!
Fun little game, and incredible physics!
Solid game, like the tutorial cinematics. Timing of the vine slashing felt a bit off and maybe the vine hit boxes as well. Would have likes to see maybe a pickup for the speed. Good job on getting this done for compo!
The gameplay and graphics are quite nice, although I found the connection to the theme to be exceedingly loose. IMO simply making a score-chasing game doesn't qualify as fitting the theme- in my eyes, death must be *principally* inevitable, which isn't the case here. Other than that though, it's a fun, simple game. I really liked the animations yourself and to be honest I'm impressed you made all the audio yourself! Good job :D
Great presentation. Loved the 'cutscenes', especially how it transitioned from the main menu to the gameplay proper. Very polished gameplay too. Nice work!
Excellent presentation! The opening cutscene is great, and the game itself is a well-paced infinite runner, that was really fun to play! Made it to 1866
cool art and sound effects, nice envirnonment and gameplay, great job!
funny entry! i like the use of the theme and the animations, need some sound effects, good work!
