Very fun game. I like the way that momentum carries properly even though the screen rotates. I enjoyed speedrunning the game a few times. Easily one of the best games I've played this Jam.

lovely! i liked it a lot- sometimes the simplest games are the most enjoyable- great job!
Was a bit confused by the momentum at first but that was honestly just a skill issue on my part. Really cool interpretation of the theme, would love to see this level of game design combined with some music and art in the future.
Fun and challenging! Good job making the circular movement work in a compo game! I got to level 5, but that's where I wish there were a download version, because lag was too much to work with :) Good job!
Great idea for a theme with some retro-Vectrex style. And pretty hard as those games were, too!
Gaaaah this is SO CLEAN! I love it. Pure form and design, really nicely done.
Classic gameplay but with an interesting twist. Graphics are simple but work well. Idk if it's intended, but the framerate kind of drops when moving, it gets hard on the eyes after a while. Game length is perfect for a jam, and last level is tough. Maybe some small animations on the rocket or better flame FX could be nice. Great job!
I really like this casual game with a really good use of the theme. The minimalist aesthetic is pleasant - some color palettes are gorgeous. Just a few black lines and this tiny satelite... Addictive gameplay. There is only one big problem, but I guess that you could fix it easily. Playing the main character, the movement is flicking or jerking. If it happens using Unity, you have to check your code inside the Update() or FixedUpdate() section. There is something wrong in your code. I will take a look at the source today. Fixing this annoying bug, your game could become a serious project on mobile devices - even on computers. Honestly I could pay one or two bucks for a game like yours which reminds me of another good game - **Trip To Vinelands** (do you know it? Another gameplay, but it has a more or less similar aesthetic). One of my favorite entries for this 57th LudumDare session. I want 100 levels. You deserve more more more ratings. I wish you the best ++
------------------------------------------------ A few hours after my first post :cat:
I found the bug :bug: In the CameraFollow script, don't use **LateUpdate()**, but **FixedUpdate()** for a really better execution. Change the RigidBody Collision Detection for *Discrete* and Interpolate for *none*. Now the movement is really better - smoother. I guess that the *FollowRotation* script could be improved too with a SmoothDamp computation using a little latency or a slerp transition... I wish you the best for the next releases. Bye ++
PS : for a first update, this code seems better :

Fun little. Very simple and enjoyable to play.
Challenging and quite fun, learning to control the ship was a little trippy, but also rewarding. I wished there were more levels to maybe explore various patterns of the bombs/turrets, which were introduced in the "ascend". Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the 13 minutes it took me to beat this game. Minimal graphics worked well here, and the sfx complemented the art style, though some music would help the game feel complete. But, overall, and most importantly, it is fun to play.
Awesome twist on a classic game. I love that you included the centrifugal force that pushes the little ship away. Also a cool idea to make the levels harder on the second part of the game. I had fun playing and was motivated to play more.
Only thing worthy of improvement ist sound. A music trak would be nice and the "alarm" sound i a little too repetative.
Really great submission.
This entry was really fresh, and a solid spin on a classic formula. I really like the 2-bit presentation style, and the slick level transitions. If I had to give some critiques, I'd say that the camera keeping the player fixed in place, but the world still applying a centripetal acceleration (such that if you start moving horizontally with any speed, you are flung upwards into the ceiling) didn't feel very good to use at first, and was often uncomfortable to play around. Additionally, there were also several times where I would fly towards the node at the center, only for the camera to freak out and apply a weird impulse to the ship that would fling me into a wall. However, once I learned the quirks of the movement system, the actual mechanical seeds were quite fun to play around with. Overall, I had a good bit of fun, and was very impressed with this entry. Well done, and congrats!
Difficulty ramped up pretty sharply towards the end ^_^ I managed to escape in **11:37**
Very nice, clean execution of the concept. Looks good and plays well. Nice job!
