Lovely artwork and great storyline!
Interesting idea simple yet fun gameplay and really cool music = a great entry!
I came right after watching the video, great one as always! I hope one day i will become better than you as Chris Brandt says >When the student surpasses the teacher, the teacher becomes immortal.
Love the art style and scary atmosphere (music helps a lot) also that simplicity :ok_hand:
Clearly one of my favorites
I forget about the resturant and wait for my baby to wrap living room peacefully :) good game but controlling player is a little bit hard
Great soundtrack and cool gameplay, had fun!
Love the art style, easy to figure out but hard to stop play :) Great one
The winner of the humor (at least for me) nice one, tebrikler!
I think it would be cool if there were something to shoot astroids because they already split when collide each other but nevertheless solid gameplay and pretty nice graphics, good job!
Fells like no mans sky at 2016, has potential but unfinished :) thanks for sharing
Graphics are awesome i really like the art style, upgrades are also cool but i couldnt manage to advance too far :)
Wow outstanding graphics and original gameplay i liked it! maybe ui needs a little more polishing
Is only way to gain seeds cull the grown trees? because i stuck at some point but nice visuals and solid gameplay, good job!
Cats are so cute!
Writing rules preparing handbook wow thats too much effort, good job definately will check it out deeper
Yep i have same problem how to pass the blue rock?
Simple yet fun! it turned me back when i was playing flash games as a kid. Congrats!
Fun to play! i couldnt place a new wall when zombies break it but turrets handle them quite well :)
Wow that was fun! but i think controls are physics driven that could be why chracters feel hard to control
Nice one! i sticked with peaceful run tho :)
I dont know if its about the UE4 but build size is little too much Thanks for sharing!
Amazing graphics and upgrade tree but gameworld as tiles may not be the best choice for character movement
Nice one you may consider adding different recipies or even cakes for the post jam version it has potential!
Link is down i think could you reupload?
Good thing that i am not an ambulance driver irl :) its hard to control after 3 beers, nice game congrats!
I think this may be dictionary definition of what should a jam game look like Simple yet addictive nice tunes at background and last but not least a little humour great work!
Your game give me an idea like moon does kinda same job right, if you play as the moon and trying to destroy astroids while not collide with earth , you might consider that for post jam :)
Wow outstanding graphics!
Died at 50s and i am not even mad :) nice game
It deserves to be second most popular goat in video game history :) i am not going to forget how it flies!
Cool idea and solid gameplay, great work congrats!
I like how you used UI and the animations, really cool congrats!
Love the artstyle and short but heartful story great entry congrats!
"Servers are not down when submitting 1/10" Jokes aside great game, congrats!
Simple yet powerful game i really like how you implement the audio as a game mechanic and minimalistic style was a great choice!
"one man's treasure is another man's trash" it was fun great job
Who booes a rabbit that audience should learn some manners! good game btw :rabbit2:
That was cool especially the graphics but i get little bit motion sickness, wanted to play more just couldn't
I think you guys should work on post jam version, looks promising and has lots of potential! (Putting some nice tunes can be good starting point)
The only thing missing is [this](https://answers.unity.com/storage/temp/73063-555.jpg)
Love the art style could be better with main characters walk animation, upgrades with money and of course please somebody put this lovely county an elevator spend 5min just to jump every block but its worth it!
Simple yet fun and easily could be a cool mobile game Looking good but if you add rock demolish animations and little variety to sides would be spectacular!
So much thanks everyone for kind words it really motivate me to finish the game, I asked you to consider it early access and now here is the post-jam version I hope you enjoy, Cheers.
PS: Because I was completely engaged to finish I couldn't play your awesome games its tomorrows first task :v:
@cax @tri @mekuri @astrid @walaber @sharked @kpedatte @valisse21 @etrealjunior @james-clark @robin-psaila @federico-giorgi @no-grapes-games @siddharth @iron-leonem @anshul-k @walaber @quack-doctor @landosystems @nicksmaddog
Is there a trick because i cant pass the first water
Man that art and animations remind me the good old casper games, great one!
Perfect jam game doesnt exi-
Like the old saying "less is more", love your game its minimalistic style with cinematic storytelling really get me and great music choice btw
I liked the art style but couldnt finish the second loop so don't know if you add ghost-like creatures who follow player at later loops, they would be better than jumpscares
Day 538 : I finally managed to save enaugh money for buying IDumb 12 pro thanks to super working everyday also i have few friends at the apartment even if it chews my ear sometimes I really like that guy, well it might be not the perfect life but it is one.
Has a learning curve but Its all about patience guys stop at every fuel station and go down slowly. Great entry overall my only addition would be adding the top 3 to the game window so we could see who we are competing with
Your game definately needs a mobile port I can just play it all day with more recipes Art is eyecandy and nicely polished very well used audio also = great entry, congrats!
Interesting one never seen a previously made jam game being submitted, I watched the whole walktrough deep n' dark atmosphere successfully reflects noir style,I would definitely try if I had a VR set.
It was a great experience so many types of cameras each one as a mini puzzle, I thought It would be awesome if you teleport to that memory and rotate the camera there instead of 3d worldspace while playing but that's asking too much for a weekend project I say it because I really liked the game, visuals models background track your hard work can be seen easily seen, congratulations to whole team!
Definately music and also sound design is great I didn't press play to listen the whole song your hard work can be clearly seen it's hard to see combat AI in a jam game unfortunately I had some fps problems but probably it's about my machine, Congrats to you all :v:
@hatokasai My specs are good but system automatically selected second gpu I guess you know the embedded one that might caused the problem edit : yeah that was, Intel HD graphics 4000 instead of RTX 2060 hahah I don't think you need to optimize more but I suggest that a webgl port would be nice
Hands down that finishing animation is a flawless beauty, the game itself is also not worse than the final It was a truly remarkable & pleasing journey -just like a pilgrimage- to the center, the sound design with the simplicity of art :ok_hand: Congratulations!
I have a feeling that your game will won innovation I didn't tried many yet but plumber ants is my favorite candidate so far great idea and pixel art is the superb choice feels so good to watch water flow and unstopable ant army, outstanding job congratulations!
Hands down :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: for graphics what a beautifully polished game you have I wonder If it's the same as initial version in both case absolutely stunning accompanied with themeful soundtrack great work guys congrats to the whole team
Liked I your game... a lot
Jokes aside it's surprisingly deep you make a robust rpg battle system within a weekend that's respectable indeed my addition would be instead of using water_31 earth_3 etc you could use a name generator but I don't think that your game is not understandable yes might a bit confusing but every rpg has that, Congrats :)
@whysguy52 @thewhiterice Each person consumes 1 ration per day also production & consumption updated daily so It's not broken -48 means 48 people is hungry you need to make it 0 in order to stop discontent
@redsorel Thanks yeah it's more like frostpunk, you can win without harming some child btw @1minatur
@dylan-fries Thanks for the feedback, I am working on a huge UI update alongside with QoL improvements and more events but I don't get why did you say that of course I made it
This is a commercial like full game wow art, animations, humor if you insist in dialogues are absolutely insane too bad you opt out that categories and let's don't forget music shall we glues all the things together perfectly. I really enjoyed while playing great job, congrats to the whole team :v:
It is a bit easy right? I got 20k in my first play maybe my score is not that good I don't know :) There could be upgrades like shield level or constantly increasing meteor count would increase replayabilty other than that good sound choice both for the ambiance and music art is also fabulous I was following you guys devlogs also there were very nice concept arts. Congratulations to all team members :v:
A superb game from graphics to gameplay but ldjam is not only about making a great game I think it's more like playing other great devs' games too, that way people wont miss this gem!
I actually played it in the browser without problems controlls are fine but I had to refresh few times to look which is key, the only thing I would like to add is more light maybe in a form of greenery that could enhance the atmosphere and add a little difference to the environment, Things like these always happens in first jam important thing is finishing it up its actually very big achievement and I want to congratulate you, good job mate!
I love it! its super polished and fun to play, great job team huge congrats!
There could be a realism mode where beer prices were constantly going higher and higher hahaha, funny and enjoyable entry overall good job team, elinize sağlık!
Really unique idea and its executed greatly, I personally wouldnt change this to a better drawings paper n paper sketches all seem in harmony, good job congrats!
@mikoziq Thats the mini solar module I added at last hour yeah I forgot adding the mesh collider and brightness well its a problem about my screen not yours, I use a tv screen so brightness and contrast different from monitors it seem good while making but when I checked ld page using mobile after submitting wow its almost complately black, you are right!
Stars were on my list alongside with iconic white nuzzle particle effect unfortunately they have to wait until post-jam version, much thanks for your feedback!
@hotaloca I model them one after another glad that you liked it there was a CanadArm module aswell but couldnt finish it maybe I will add it also in the post-jam version, thanks for the feedback!
@caudatecoder Exacly thats what I did in playtesting just attach few modules to mothership then crash full speed hahaha, thanks for the feedback
@ugly-robot Its a 3d top down game from start to finish, when I first started making it was free angle camera like KSP but I tought we dont need that much depth it would be easier both the player and me if I constrain movement in two axis while the game being still 3d, thank you for the reply!
@mrchip Those markings -in theory- shows your speed but they are not working correctly most of the time ,thats the easy one to fix the second you mentioned other hand is a bit harder, right now Im still working on it and postjam version will be -hopefully- bug-free, thanks for indepth reply glad you enjoyed!
@rustbaron Yeah! I listen the whole soundtrack while making the game actually I was going to write (it goes well with no time for caution) hahaha but then tought even Nolan didn't use explosion sound when Matt couln't docked, thanks for the feedback glad you enjoyed!
@wuppos Wow I never tought it would be confusing my bad, RCS thursters may help about finding who player is and movement code applies for every module that havent been docked yet so yes its a bug as well as not docking points other than mothership, I have fixed most of them but still there are work to be done. Much thanks for your indepth reply I want you to see post-jam version too if you like ?
I really enjoyed it, super smooth and satisfying gameplay with pleasing pixel art, a perfect action combo, great job overall congrats!
I was waiting your game since first saw it on the feed, had a nice potential and you use it really well. Playable main menu was great idea for trying keys after few containers I fell like a cool operator guy and started evergreen (would be a nice if its vertical while other ships horizontal parked hahah) after few blocks more randomly placed ship become unstable and turned over, believe or not I wasnt expecting that hahaha cute graphics with fresh color palette make it relaxing experiance, congrats!
In my first attempt I was shooting whoever I dont liked the picture and after passing 5-6 said "I am shooting but is there a way to know they are droids or not" then I failed and turn back to first floor hahaha Inovative and not ugly game if you ask me, good job!
It was a superb experience from start to finish everything is well tought and made, I love it kudos to Scratch for these beautiful tunes get along really well with the cute graphics, congrats team! [Here is what my endworld looks like](https://i.imgur.com/CDwZM7P.jpg)
Is pistol range so small? it kinda feels like a melee weapon I couldn't fight with the ghosts they keep killing me but liked the atmosphere and graphics also good job on the itch.io page best landing page I have seen so far :) good job, congrats!
Wow you are a great artist, wish there were no problems with your team but you handle as solo really well, congrats!
Ahhh that electric fields I have died many times couldnt hear them because background music which is beautiful tunes btw, grinding effect when its under 1minute was cool too managed to finish it in my second attemt, very good game Congrats!
Well I dont know where to start, game's mood is so powerful it takes you inside so fast, actually my dreams are kinda same should I be worried? neeh thats the nature of the dreams I guess. Great job, congrats!
Oh my ISP plays this game too, they only got one broken sv and millions of users hahaha, nice game I like tycoon games a lot, I think its day based and days pass every few seconds right?
Truly a unique game, at first I tried to build a dam like structure even using evil parts to folks advantage but avalanche be like "Damn!, which dam bro?" my evil score skyrocketed after second set was a failure too I changed plans and build them just before houses & tadaa %50 survival rate achieved hahaha the only thing I didn't understand is bulldozer doge could be better if its for bulldozing accidently placed parts. Congrats to the whole team, great game!
It felt really great for my lil monke brain, especially after on off mechanic introduced it got challenging so not only game is simple yet fun to play the puzzle design is also top notch. You guys clearly seem to spend time designing them unlike me haha great job, congrats!
I've played many great entries but you guys are the winner for me, outstanding work!
I'm glad that I've bookmarked your game because I reckon you guys don't have that much time to play n rate others which caused this game not to be featured on the front page. It felt refreshing to see 3d parkour game in LD I love fast paced action so I enjoyed every bit of it. good job, congrats to the team!
After dying more than dozen times to those spiders I tried peaceful challenge and got the ending actually it's very short if you run I would've liked to see more because controls are responsive & fun in platforms, good job congrats!
What a masterpiece! eyecandy graphics, engaging gameplay with mechanics that works like a clock :) I've managed to collect 10 :rose: glad you added checkpoint system its a must have in a game you try 'n restart One of my ld50 favorites so far, huge congrats!
I played "yet another zombie defense" for long hours and I wish you used mouse for aim too, right now I can only survived 20 sec in each level when doing pacifist run its around 16-17 secs .d so having a machinegun doesn't make that much of a difference for me. Other than that I enjoyed it! huge congrats making it within 72hours
The soundtrack & lightning choices give it a horror thriller game look and those messages between the waves were my favorite part loved the writing of it. While I'm not sure about AI but the increase in enemy count both makes it harder in terms on difficulty & difficult to play in fps wise. If it's possible I would like to try windows version in 60fps or at least in stable 30fps. Nevertheless good job, congrats to the whole team!
In my first playthrough I ran & grab a board if I were doing it on daily basis but I wasn't expecting the ability to grab 'n throw stunned crabs hahaha that laugh me a lot then I feel bad and tried peaceful run just to be called a monster again :( haha good job, congrats!
You've nailed the psx graphics, the horror thriller atmosphere is as if jumped from silent hill scene & even better imo considering how you used lightning. And 3 goddamn train stopped on the other side but none in our direction what an unlucky night haha, wonderful game glad I've bookmarked it would be shame if I missed
Like said in above your game has superb idea, learning & typing spells to use them to stay alive is great concept for playing as a mage but the lack of enemies and our spells effect in environment (breaking pots or walls to open new rooms) takes its charm a little, It can be an awesome game in post-jam version if you guys wants to do it!
A game played in game engine wow! One question then, Can unity achievable?
ps. it's a joke, I meant unity within people
Why this game is so addictive, wow even tho Im not a big fan of one bit games I really like your art & will play it time to time, great one congrats!
Unique idea and very well polished website, I don't know if its because I'm a professional procrastinator myself or it's my pure luck I haven't defeated. Liar's abilities seem a bit op but maybe there is a rock-scissor-paper relationship between them that I haven't found it yet. Nevertheless good job everyone thanks for this refreshing entry!
Yeah as a victim of 5 gatherer 2 guard combo I can assure you **invest in miners** & you're good to go, I have risen up 'til the white void it was awesome definitely have room for a bit more challenge n upgrades but it was a spectacular compo entry, huge congrats!
Ah Hello Gordon it's good to see you Screenshot_6.png This game was like a hidden gem! it tells a story between Lou, protagonist & an elder that constantly swinging in chair though elder doesn't play a big role in the plot haha jokes aside my only improvement would be not showing the aircraft in the beginning or showing a greatly exaggerated version of it like a version that child couldn't ever do, later when building we would see aircraft taking shape & laugh for imagination of the child's minds. I loved the vibe in the last scene just before the inevitable came even took a screenshot of it. Great job, congrats to the team!
@manny-mallea @goat Well visibility issue caused because I use tv as monitor, colors are a bit off on it which I totally forgot @zeekza yeah you're right, I avoid putting pieces to A1-3 to make a quick fix and I made the levels on the last hour, just gave random coordinates played it if I can finish it within few tries I added and move to next level @janku at first they were kinda like the same size as the rocket but then I thought scaling them down give it more realistic look @mar3k @gustavo my initial idea was taking chess as the template merging it with rock-scissor-paper like units where infantry wins over bazooka loses to tank, bazooka wins over tank loses to infantry etc. this would've added more strategic depth but I couldn't implemented it on time maybe I'll add it in post-jam version @lisyarus absolutely chess AI was my biggest fear, first day I made it play randomly but then thought like well it doesn't need to attack if it can't eat your piece that's the main philosophy of my Sun Tzu AI hahaha
Thanks everyone for kind words!
@velvetlobster oh, it's my stupidity then :) normally I would care a lot in accessibility options but forgive me on this jam entry, I'll add character size adjustment right away
Ah yes who would've thought bumping objects while falling could earn you few seconds hahaha, a great example to fun to play jam game congrats!
I failed couple of times why my reaper doesn't move later but later i figured it out and had fun, the only thing missing is a bit balance it's getting harder so fast other than that good job, congrats!
Excuse me but French Southern What? hahaha oh I googled it French Southern and Antarctic Lands wow! A great one day compo game that simple, fun, in line with the theme. Also it was good exercise to remember typing country names especially for a casual map enjoyer like me even tho I made mistakes caused by ı i I İ differences in my keyboard. Great one once again congrats!
Yeah I agree Depth is a little bit problem I think you can shoot every asteroid but some of them closer thus larger, nevertheless I loved the graphics & soundtrack!
Wow! looks gorgeous & plays smoothly I loved every bit of it! Great game, Huge congrats to both of you. PS. Are there any other levels? because after many attempts I only got 12 points if they weren't spawning in maybe it could be possible to clean the map but its hard if not impossible
