I'm not sure I understand. food and o2 start at some huge negative number and it won't change. Broken perhaps?
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD48 → Spacepunk 48

I made apples and O2, then i went deeper and deeper. Some child may be hurt but it's ok. Good job guys. I had this FTL vibe when i come in but it's totaly different. The atmosphere is great, you feel the long road and music is helping on this. GG.
I did not understand what I was supposed to do. I did the first tutorial panels, but they didn't tell me what to do, or how to do it.
Nice idea. Need to be more polished and easier, but overwall that's good <3
I thought it was pretty enjoyable. It felt at times like I was required to something or else I'd just lose instantly (for example, if I didn't make the kids work I'd have lost). Not bad though! I think this could be really fun if it was fully fleshed out.
@whysguy52 @thewhiterice Each person consumes 1 ration per day also production & consumption updated daily so It's not broken -48 means 48 people is hungry you need to make it 0 in order to stop discontent
@redsorel Thanks yeah it's more like frostpunk, you can win without harming some child btw @1minatur
Awesome game where you have to manage a spaceship. Besides managing the resources you also have to make decisions that will have an impact on your crew or ship. The only thing I noticed was that it's possible to have more than one notification - so it's hard to read them sometimes. Other than that, awesome game!
@mlkvr alright, I just wasn't explained it well. Thanks.
cool concept + theme - i also had the FTL vibe like someone said above (music choice was great too)! i like the resource management part of the game :)
nice idea bro, it's funny game
I love the idea of a management game like this for a jam game. Random events and managing numbers while keeping a static background to set the mood has a lot of potential. More random events would have been nice of course. It's a little hard to get a feel for what is happening behind the scenes, it was tough to understand what exactly I was balancing.
Man, I love this - perfect job on audio!.
Love the idea! It would be great to see a more polished version of the game. Adding a button to pass the turns/time would be a nice thing, as it would make you feel more in control of what's happening. Well one!
I love the concept, but my crew hates me :sob: I haven't played Frostpunk yet, but I certainly got FTL vibes, which is a good thing. The resource management system requires careful tweaking, and the events offer a good degree of uncertainty, although the distribution of events feels a bit odd with repeated triggers being more frequent than I would expect (I've got the child labour one three times in a row, someone in that ship is certainly pushing an agenda )
The music felt super chill. I could leave in in the background while I browse <3
All in all, Great job!
I really liked the music and the model of the ship was pretty cool. I actually managed to beat it! I was very confused about the consequences of things like hitting the minus button on panels and...I didn't find Thanos that funny? But I appreciate the effort. Pretty solid game, especially solo. Good job!
Nice to see a tutorial on a jam game. Was still left a little confused until I realized that -ve food was not the consumption rate but the deficit (no wonder they all hated me the first few times)
It took several attempts to figure out what was going on. The interface was quite confusing, it may have been helpful to have a number for how much energy the solar panels were outputting, and the total energy the other modules needed. A lot of the buttons appeared to do nothing at times for no obvious reason. I eventually worked out it was from not enough energy. The tutorial doesn't help with the numbers, I assumed three on energy and one on biosphere would be enough to get started, not have to put everything as high as possible straight away. Also a lot of the events disappeared before I had finished reading them. A restart button would have been useful. Having to reload the page to restart was super slow.
A nice idea though, and the music is great.
Really nice entry. I guess the number of mechanics made it a lot difficult to understand what's going on because they are introduced at the same time (but I appreciate the effort of making a tutorial section to try and explain what's happening). Even with the tutorial I wasn't able to survive the ejection in my first run. The second one was nicer. Overall, I enjoyed the game and it's atmosphere. Nice job!
Cool start, echoing some of the other folks, starting a little simpler or with fewer mechanics would have helped. I liked the music and tone of the game though. Also, some simple things like having the buttons and UI elements stand out from the background a little better (a frame, higher contrast, etc) and or having visual icons for the numbers (a little human) would have helped. A game that does this really well is Offworld Trading Company, which you would probably like if this is the game you made. Good effort though and keep at it!
Very cool game, reminds me of FTL. Nice ship model and atmosphere. It was a bit confusing as to what the best thing to do is at each time, but figured it out eventually. Some good humor too!
@dylan-fries Thanks for the feedback, I am working on a huge UI update alongside with QoL improvements and more events but I don't get why did you say that of course I made it
Cool idea but the game moves way too quickly to keep up. the buttons are also all in very inconvenient places. It would be nice if the UI was a bit more stylistic and clumped close together
