Keeping SNES Alive! by drludos 2020-04-25T19:30:40Z
Very nice interpretation of the theme ! With a nes this wouldn't have worked :joy:

Yeah the skip button please :D. But I love the graphics !
Bon travail !
Good feeling with the controls. This water strogly need a nice shader !
@ausstein, like you, I wanted to do a Kerbal space program remake :).
Hi,
Thanks @the-triumvirate. Yeah sorry, the baby part is a bit unfinished, we not had enough time to add explanation for it. At the start the baby is in the Craddle, and if the warning siren is ON, you must take the baby and put it in the Craddle again. By the way I guess you had a funny time to run about with the baby in front of you :joy:.
@benjouille, @blue-pin-studio Yes like I said before, no enough time to finish and balance a bit the gameplay. Sorry for that and thanks for your interest.
@room606 "Iâd add some highlight spots to the places the player can interact with" Was totally a goal for the last hours, but you know how it is :D. You don't had music and fx sounds ? I Know that bug with the baby, tried to quick fix the bug and I broken antother things, so I have revert that XD.
@mlkvr Thanks and nice strategy :D
@acdia Yeah you are right, it impressed myself how Godot Engine was productive for me, after more than 1 year without opening it !
Hi and thanks to all. I just published a post jam version with a lot of fixes :
* bigger areas detection * less loud alarm sound (yeah sorry for this) * fixed bad camera switch * more balanced difficulty * player movement a bit better * fixed baby position bug and escape rate * fixed customers queue and spawn rate * added area indication on floor * added help popup for the baby * possible to not loose :D (Yeah with the first version you was unable to win because I never added score points, only removed points, oups)
@room606 the baby bug is fixed in the post jam version :D
@adinimys it's not broken anymore in the post jam version
@hare-software I have fixed all serious bug and also balanced the difficulty in the post jam version, try it again :)
@laura-del-pino thanks for the advice, I have added areas on the floor in the post_jam version

@andidebob I have balanced the difficulty in the post_jam version, it is now viable :D
@laveilleusegraphique if you try again with the post_jam version you will have a much better experience :).
Hi, the game is now playable in the browser :)
@the-missing-bracket I changed the texture compression to "Losseless" and re-imported each texture (which was black before)
Félicitation, le degré de polish du jeu est ouf pour une ld jam ! J'ai beaucoup aimé les graphismes et l'ambiance de zénitude :v:
Yeah a game made with godot :). I'm fan of it for years now. How was your first experience with Godot ? I tried to do something with Godot in 3D for this LD, and the experience was smooth and productive.
By the way I liked your game, style, transition, gameplay, day 16 at max for the moment.
Hi @erebus,
I have reported to the Godot community your problems as a first time user, and they will change shortcuts to use `F2` for renaming, and `F1-F3+CTRL` to switch betweens 3D/2D/Script/ views.
All that in one weekend ? Impressive ! It is very polished, I like the ideas for the level design.
Nice balance of the challenge. Sometimes you jump and loose because a enemy just appear, maybe displaying an animation or color zone 1 second before spawning new enemy can be more fair for the player
Hi, the web version is working well. Maybe the velocity is too high for the first level, is hard to figure out how to not instant die in the first run. But challenging = fun.
Your game really need some sounds to by more immersive, it will bring a lot to your nice game :)
Nice balance for the gameplay. I love the interpretation of the theme !
Yeah french game dev here :). Nice 3D fish and sounds :)
I love the 3D style :)
Yeah, a Godot friend :). Very nice 2D art and music. The mood is perfect.
Very original them adaptation, love it ! Also the art are good and pleasant, the entire game is polished. Special mention for the writing, very immersive. All in one, your game is working very well on me.
Hi, the game is not working in linux, it seems to be a missing âresâ folder.
``` â> ~/TĂ©lĂ©chargements ./dozydungeon 10:51:20 GL_VERSION: b'4.6.0 NVIDIA 440.26' GL_SHADING_LANGUAGE_VERSION: b'4.60 NVIDIA' GL_RENDERER: b'GeForce GTX 980/PCIe/SSE2' Traceback (most recent call last): File "main.py", line 11, in
@lesslwo it's working with the non one file ! I like the non-violent vision :).
Very nice music, focusing into the game ! Maybe adding a "stamina" for the bullets can by nice (to avoid bullet spam).
ps: for running it on linux I had to make it executable `chmod +x ./RumbleInTheBronchs_Linux` and run it with shell
Yeah a godot game :). Very nice feeling and sounds. graphics are simple but it works very well.
Hi, your game is tagged as linux but I don't find the linux binaries.
A little disappointed with the theme adaptation, I mean "Keep the cube alive" can be a lot of funny ideas :). By the way the game is classical, but fun and with a good ambiance (graph + music + feeling), I'm in the top 10 (for the moment). Suggestion: put the high score in-game, while playing, it will be more stressful for the player to keep alive :)
Wow I had fun to play it. Like the gameplay. I guess it can be a nice little game if you had controller support and better collision managment (don't stop when the top of the player hit bottom of a platform).
Nice concept, I finished the game. Maybe a little timer before each level to have the time to analyse the puzzle can be a nice improvement:).
Very nice graphics, your game is very polished ! Nice to see others french here. Feel free to look and vote for our entry: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/way-out
Hi, I liked the randomly generated map and car randomness :). I hoped that I can kill ennemies with the car (like in GTA 1) but not :(. Feel free to look and vote for our entry also made with Godot Engine: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/way-out
I like games like this. The music is cool and relaxing. Thanks for the linux binaries đ. Feel free to look and vote for our entry also made with Godot Engine: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/way-out
If you need a quickly server/database for a online leaderboard, firebase will be a good solution, will get free database JSON based, will be very easy for a game jam. Feel free to look and vote for our entry also made with Godot Engine: [Way Out](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/way-out)
I liked it a lot! Your game is so polished, like a game developed for months. For me the difficulty come fast in the game, I would have liked 5 or10 first mini tutorials levels, only enjoying the relaxing sound of the ball :). Feel free to look and vote for our entry also made with Godot Engine: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/way-out
@Jiri-Hysek On the itch.io page we have an OSX build (someone said me it's laggy, but you can try). Also Windows build work well on linux with Wine (Thanks Godot !!!), I don't know if OSX has a function like that.
Wow wow wow, very nice game, I love the style, your game is realy polished. The gameplay is very fun, congratulation ! The boss is very cool to fight ! Feel free to look and vote for our entry: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/way-out
Hi, nice game, the 3D and the audio is very good, even more for a single person in 48 hours ! One thing, it's very hard to start playing at default speed :), I started 10 times before understanding and stop dying :D. A help menu with some explaination before the start would be nice.
@Vinterskog You can look at the code here : https://github.com/LudumDare41/LD41
@Victor-Lima Can you add the github link in the description please ? :)
Nice concept, for 3 hours it's very good! It would have been nice to have the entire weekend to make a polished game of your idea, because the gameplay is fun. Feel free to look and vote for our entry: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/way-out
