Loved the graphics and game play! Great job felt like a Legend of Zelda game and was very enjoyable
I really like the aesthetics of this game! The character is also so cute <3
I like the camera and the way the controls are presented. I can't get past the first door, even if I light the fire, is there no more gameplay? If so, I would have liked to see more.
You can also add some info about the game in te description, I don't know if it is only a little demo or I'm missed something.
Please, keep working on it! :)
Thank you both for playing!
@darksaytan There is much more to the game than the first room. If you haven't already, please try burning the leaves on the wall with your lantern!
@quade-zaban and team, great work, cute game and good run on the fire/keep it alive theme :) Got to a point with three hanging things that I presume require some skills to all light that I don't quite have lol, but good variety in puzzles (design) cute graphics, solid sound, great little game :)
Awesome game ! Really cute ambiance, i like how the music is changed by how much flame you have left, the graphics are very good (although the kind of motion blur on the very bright part is really weird and it's difficult to see when you have the flaming tail in front of the camera.
Nice puzzles and environment, really nice audio, the character controller is really nice, although moving the tail when holding shift could be easier.
Again, awesome work ! :D I reached a room (the first one where you have to use the Q+E) with three flamable leaves going up, and i can't find how to get past it, i try burning them all at the same time, tried reaching the leaves behind the kind of "tower" the leaves are in, is it the end or is there more beyond ?
Good job ;)
Really beautiful game. Loved the Zelda vibes. I didnt love the control scheme but thats just a minor complaint. Had a lot of fun with it. id be interested to see more.
This was incredible. I loved the music, sound, character design, puzzles... My only complaint is that getting past some of the wind sections seemed too hard (I quit near the end of that).
This is an amazing game! I found the puzzles to be really interesting and I loved exploring the environment! The character felt really smooth and responsive, the sound and music was really fitting and nice, the effects added really sprung out, the aesthetic was satisfying and really pretty, and the overall game play was adventurous! It's a beautifully made game and I'm shocked it was only made in 3 days!! It's amazing and feels more like a proper fully fleshed video game than the usual jam game! Keep up the good work :)
Such a beautiful, Zelda-esque game. Great job!
This has some really great Zelda dungeon feels to it. The camera felt kind of finicky to me. Perhaps it was because I was using a mouse. The environment is great though and I liked the central mechanic.
I really like the idea behind this game. I like the puzzle aspect and the look is really nice. The controls gave me a lot of issues, though, and I kept getting turned around and falling off of the bridge area before being able to get across. I'm going to come back to this one and give it another go.
This game is amazing! The visual style looks great, I think the controls work very well, and the sound and music is really cool. The puzzles are also very well designed. I did get stuck at part with a tall tower, and inside the tower is three burnable sticks from the ceiling. I managed to light them to make the platform around the edge of the tower come down, but I can't figure out what to do next, but I would love to see the rest of the game
Really love the game. I don't really see how this fits the theme but I had a really fun time playing the game. One small thing that bothered me though was whenever the camera faced a flame it would flare up and made it really hard to see anything else.
Wow, the quality level here is amazing! I haven't said this yet this jam, but this could certainly be expanded into an indie game with the potential for success. I have no idea what that purple thing is, but it's adorable and excellently animated. The puzzles that I did were interesting and intuitive (though I, too, got stuck on the little room with the 3 hanging vines). I tried holding the lantern up and lighting them all quickly, but no dice.
I did find the controls confusing at first, but I think that was mostly due to the wall-of-text presentation of them. It would be nice to see more usage of the tail rotation as a puzzle mechanic to justify the existence of those controls over a simple context-sensitive "light this thing on fire" button - like perhaps dodging it back and forth through a sort of slalom of water streams.
Simple mechanics but with which you have covered many puzzles, the level design is perfect. The art is very well polished and cohesive (I don't know how many artistes have done it), but my congratulations. The sound is perfect, it fits perfectly and the quality is 10. Nothing more than telling the truth, to be a team with so many people it shows that you have communicated very well and that you had the clear idea from the beginning. Keep doing projects like this fellas! :D
Great aesthetics and puzzles and the audio is on point. The controls feel a bit weird but nonetheless it was a fun experience!
Good game, though it has way too much bloom, and I got stuck at the top, there is something I don't get in the level
This game is amazing. I really loved the art and the mechanic of the lantern. I thought the bloom was a bit much and i definitely got stuck on a puzzle. Great overall!
The game has very nice mood and the overall atmosphere is really cozy. Clever puzzles and nice zelda-like mechanics and style. Loved it.
This game is amazing! I love the main character's design. Really impressive rendering for a Unity Game ! I didnt understood that the level at the top was a level and not the end, so i fall down and couldnt get up again :( Great game and nice level design. The music is also super cool.
The Zelda comparisons are a good one. Reminds me of Wind Waker.
All that in one weekend ? Impressive ! It is very polished, I like the ideas for the level design.
@quade-zaban I'm here again! Yep, I tried again and I very proud to say that this time I finished the game ;)
Now I have to say that camera are great except in some parts In the level with the big rotating cylinder the camera makes difficult some jumps, and this part is a little bit frustrating because you lose the fire easy and you have to do all way back to get it again, until you turn on the first lamppost of the chamber.
I don't know how is control de tail and the character at the same time with a controler, but in the keyboard is hard. I'm talk about the part of the wind and where you have to keep the fire out of water. We were two playing these parts, one controled the player and other the tail xD
The time to do some puzzles are very fair, and the final of the game... it's great, but I was thinking "They are trying to shown me something o the are just kidding me?" That part feels like if you were trying to guide me to the Thruth. I think that would be nice if you show the names of the creators in that huge final zone, while you are looking for the end, maybe when you turn on some lampposts. More interesting that show them in a white screen, don't you? :P
And maybe really have an end, because you stay in the white screen but you can still move the character and don't have option to exit xD
But nothing to say if this is a three-days game, nice work :)
Really enjoyed this game guys. The puzzle were pretty good and fair for the most part, I think the part after the second cascade could be a bit easier to figure out. Love the Wind Waker look, the Shaders are great and giving the game a good feel, without being overbearing. Well done guys!
Nice. I made it all the way to the big rotating tower, and climbed it up and down multiple times trying to figure out what I had missed,, until my motion sickness got the best of me and I had to stop.
Some of the puzzles were a bit awkward to execute -- and the jumping sections ended up being very tedious, but the general idea here is great!
