Well, it's a nice project and I like it. You need to give it morethan one try to know how to play it correctly. I had find that sometimes the player don't attack or walk properly, you get stuck in the objects that enemies drop or in the air, being unable to move or do anything and dying again and again xD

It would be nice if you had the help option in the menu in game, and not only in the main menu. I found that if I'm playing and click Esc -> Main Menu -> Start, the game go to the black screen before the game but not start de game, it keep in blackscreen all time.

I like the different rooms that the game have and the aesthetics, good job :)

I don't know if you can reach the surface because I didn't xD

I really enjoyed this game! I don't want to do spoilers, so I will try not to. Summary of the following next: The game is cool, the story is great, it can be a little bit hard, but you can solve it (it needs time and thought xD). It would be great if you put some info of the game in the description.

I want to help you in what I can, so this is what I found. First, it would be nice if you had the option to exit the game (I couldn't find it). The options within the scene it's very original, but I would draw a window or someting instead of leaving them in a white rectangle.

The text in red color is not de best option for me, maybe you can put some box to hold the text (not full opacity, maybe 80%, depending of the color of the box you choose). I understand the reason why the text overlaps when you fail, but I strongly recommend put the repeated lines in a slightly different color (for example, if you have the text in black, you can put the rest in different shades of gray), it's ok make it difficult to read, but not unreadable (It happens if you fail a lot, you miss the rest of the story, and I think that this is not the point in a game with story). And, I would look for a typography with more personality instead of the classic sans serif font.

When you have to answer the question, on the submit button it says "button", you can put "Go" or "Try", "buttons" looks like a false text. And to go from one day to the next (if you are successful), you naturally click on the screen, but I found that you have to press "Enter", if you want that the players do that they need to know it, or change it for mouse click instead of using the keyboard. The assist mode helped me in the final moments, so thanks for that, although not at all levels the highlighted elements have new info, but it helps. The last time I clicked in the bed I found the purple screen that said "Here should be the ending screen", so I guess that I finished the game haha.

The art is great, looks simple but nice, I realize that probably you have more than one artist because some of the pictures are as vector art and others look like painting, but they all go the same way so it's nice.

The music is great too! And the story! A very original form to use the theme, congrats :)

I really like the aesthetics of this game! The character is also so cute <3

I like the camera and the way the controls are presented. I can't get past the first door, even if I light the fire, is there no more gameplay? If so, I would have liked to see more.

You can also add some info about the game in te description, I don't know if it is only a little demo or I'm missed something.

@quade-zaban I'm here again! Yep, I tried again and I very proud to say that this time I finished the game ;)

Now I have to say that camera are great except in some parts In the level with the big rotating cylinder the camera makes difficult some jumps, and this part is a little bit frustrating because you lose the fire easy and you have to do all way back to get it again, until you turn on the first lamppost of the chamber.

I don't know how is control de tail and the character at the same time with a controler, but in the keyboard is hard. I'm talk about the part of the wind and where you have to keep the fire out of water. We were two playing these parts, one controled the player and other the tail xD

The time to do some puzzles are very fair, and the final of the game... it's great, but I was thinking "They are trying to shown me something o the are just kidding me?" That part feels like if you were trying to guide me to the Thruth. I think that would be nice if you show the names of the creators in that huge final zone, while you are looking for the end, maybe when you turn on some lampposts. More interesting that show them in a white screen, don't you? :P

And maybe really have an end, because you stay in the white screen but you can still move the character and don't have option to exit xD

But nothing to say if this is a three-days game, nice work :)

Wow! this game is nice, but so hard haha. In easiest modes I would put the names shorter (like jurassic) or the names without termination (like -saurus). In this way you can learn the names and go for the next difficult!

Maybe I would put at least one more line of names, to avoid that one name cover other. When words appears from the left side it's hard beacause you have to wait to see them, and in this game you don't have time to lose! For me, words in left are not for begginer mode neither, they are other level of difficult.

But, the idea it's so nice! and this would be a great game to learns and practice words, but if the dinos walk more slowly and you can complete the words befores they left the screen instead of when they take the egg.

Sorry, all of this it's because I only got to complete 9 names xD

It's a great project in which keep working, I like the idea.

Some comments about the game: I found that the magic have a lot of dispersion, so you have to shoot the enemies so close, like a shotgun or you fail and lost too much mana. I would like that you had a way to get the top (where there is the Tree) quickly, to protect it before the enemies reach out. Your normal cursor apears in screen meanwhile you ar playing, this is a problem if you have another screen because your mouse click out the game and lose the control. And I didn't find how to exit the game, it would need that option in the menu.

But I found it funny and I could win because the game doesn't make it too difficult for you.

Nice project!

It has been interesting, but I thought wolves would be more scared of me when I carried the the torch burning, it will be nice if they walked away, a little bit at least. Maybe de Q for the torch would be more natural than F? (only a personal opinion). Sometime the torch turns off so quickly, like 1 or 2 seconds, I don't know if that is intended. More space between Play and Exit buttons will be nice too, becuase I clicked exit 2 times when I was trying to play again xD

I like so much the aesthetic!! I hope you keep working on the game :)

Well, It's a nice project. I like the aesthetics, but with the movement of the camera you can get a little dizzy. I think that players need more info about they can do, because I didn't know if I could fight enemies (I found that not), there are some doors that you can't open (the first door that I tried to open is one of these, and I thought that the other doors would be closed too) and I activated a lever and I don't know for what it was for. But, the walkthrought is nice, I enjoyed those "floating islands" :)

It's a mini-games short game, you start with x and you have to solve some puzzles. It's hard to imagine what is represented in the game with such a simple aesthetic, but you can solve the levels to get to the end.

I'ts simple, but i can see how this can grow up easily, if you want to use the same mechanics for other game, keep working! :)

@adinimys I'm agreed with you, I know that the texture don't fit with the vector art, I made the background with texture like a prototype avoiding that it would be only a color plain, but at the end I didn't have time to chage it, my bad. But, I like that you had realice about this detail :) Maybe the coherence between texture and vector art be the same that beteween vampires and robots haha

@naughtybird Yes, we thought about indications for it, but we could not include it in this version. It is more challenging, but I hope you have enjoyed it :)

Nice project!

I think that the developers coulb be a team of artist, because the concept art, pixel art and animations are very beautiful and well-made. I would like to see more info in the description about the game; you can move with A-D, jump with W and dash with SPACE. You will need to try hard to pass to the second platform, but I'm proud to have seen the "you win" part xD

Maybe some type of tutorial or a form to exit the game would be a nice next step. Keep working, it looks so nice :)

This is nice project!

I really like the intro, the voice and the art are great. The sound of the game too, I love the musical mini-game in the menu. The in-game tutorial is a nice point too :)

I think that you need more of one try to understad well how you have to do it. I found a little difficult put the orbs in the totems, it would be nice that you don't need to be so precise in the colocation. I didn't get put an orb in the totem of the right :(

You run out of mana very easily, and sometimes the enemies don't give you mana when they die, it's hard to protect your sister more than 1-2 minutes xP

The music in the game-over is very loud to me, but the rest of the sounds are so nice.

In the Menu -> Tutorial, you have a box for the text bigger than you need, and in the Credits part of the image on the game overflow when you scroll down.

It's a nice game!

Great idea for a solo-game. I think that the animal hit-box could be bigger, because sometimes looks like you have hitting close to the animal but nothing happens. At firts I reserved my rocks, but in the end I found that it was better if you throw all to them quickly xD

It was funny, my best time was 1:29 :)

@fabula-rasa, thank you for playing! Looks like there is a bug when you lose and restart that makes overheat go so fast (so fast as it was when you lose), we'll work in fixed it. I'm glad to heard that you reach the final of the game, and sorry about the victory drawing, I thpungth to put it like screenshot in itchio but is a little spoiler xP
