Your graphics are top notch and the concept is funny. I wish I understood how to play. Also, a quit or leave button would be appreciated. Thanks for sharing.

The game looked so cool, I just wish I knew how to play.
@zoarfy and @lyssa, thank you for your comments! We added some fixes, a How to Play in the description, and the possibility to quit the game with Esc. I hope it would be easier now :)
Very nice game, it looked good and the childish xylophone sound was very fitting. The background noise was a nice touch, so it wasn't silent. I got pretty far, but I had to constantly keep cooling down my toy and was not really able to do much more (I was at least at 50+). Would've been nice to see what your final score (depth) was after you got game over. Overall very well done!
why doesn't the baby cry they just do it XD
Loved it! Funny concept ,challenging gameplay and nice audio design. Congratulations!
it is little hard at the beginning to learn how to move the baby, and at the start page it is really hard to find the start page.
The most challenging part is pressing the play button.
I have fun.Thank you)
Harder than it seems at the first glance
Although I discovered there is really little reason to shoot the enemies and most of the time you just need to keep pressing the red button, as the overheat happens waaaaaay too fast. Yeah, the game warns about enemy collision like every third or fourth germ you run into. But that really does not matter much in the context of constant overheating. So my winning strategy was: hold red, hold red, hold red, shoot once, hold yellow, rinse, repeat. There is really no time to use turbo in all of this or do anything much besides watching your overheat. Which is a shame.
I liked the victory drawing at the end. Really cute. Shame you just make the game close automatically afterwards - I wanted to take a screenshot :).
@cocoplum and @offdutyextractors, we don't have a tutorial in-game so we put the how to play in the description saying that you have to use de key to start, sorry if it's not easy to understand, I hope you enjoyed it anyway.
@fabula-rasa, thank you for playing! Looks like there is a bug when you lose and restart that makes overheat go so fast (so fast as it was when you lose), we'll work in fixed it. I'm glad to heard that you reach the final of the game, and sorry about the victory drawing, I thpungth to put it like screenshot in itchio but is a little spoiler xP
graphics are great and sound design is nice.
I did not manage to beat the game and, seeing other comments, I am not the only one but balancing the game is not easy, especially in a jam. The start button is hard to find at first (especially with the big "start" which looks like a button at the top of the screen) and overheat gets fast way too quickly imo: I would rely more on virus to shoot filling the overheat bar as more virus + the bar filling quicker makes a double punishment hard to manage.
Other than that, the concept is pretty cool and the game is fun. I enjoyed playing it
Quite a hard game, at first I thought it will be easy but it gets harder as you go on. There's little time to shoot in between cooling the laser and recharging the battery. I enjoyed it all in all.
Good job!
interesting idea. gameplay was a little repetitive once i figured out what things did. nice implementation though!
The graphics and sound design were amazing, I felt like I was in the mind of a baby playing with his toy.
I wanted to complete it to see the ending, but I couldn't. It becomes extremely hard when you are about halfway through. The ship overheats faster and faster everytime for some reason, so I had to cool it down nonstop. At some point I had to shoot and refill energy aswell, which made me lose. Maybe I've missed a mechanic?
Cool game overall, good job!
Nice work! Personally I think it might be viable to reduce the difficulty a little: when you mess things up, the game is not over but the player get punished until everything gets out of control(Like overcook did)
Graphics and Audio is great!
Awesome jon and the idea! i was actualy possesed by the game. the and of the story let me understand all the idea of story! very cool and good luck with the ludum dare
Fun 3D graphics. Man, This game over scene should definitely be a WallPaper. So "noir"-yish and babypunk! Screenshot_20210503_220217.png
An elegantly simple game. Striking visuals, fun sound design, and a surprisingly difficult four button control scheme. This was a lot of fun to play. The balance felt a little off between the overheat and the power, I felt like towards the end of the couple of runs I did there was no choice but to hold the red button almost all of the time, but that may have been part of what made it feel so fun and frantic. Overall very well done, this was a great game jam entry!
It's a good game! The concept is good, but i feel it can be better adjusting some values of design
Anyway, it's great!
Good job you all ^^
Glad to see another baby game in the lineup this year. I thought I'd be the only one.
