Fish Fists by BBApps 2021-05-02T02:17:11Z
I super love the pixel art and the concept made me laugh, my only gripe is that the controls felt a little sluggish but I could ignore it because I'd swim along and just start punching another fish

I super love the pixel art and the concept made me laugh, my only gripe is that the controls felt a little sluggish but I could ignore it because I'd swim along and just start punching another fish
I did enjoy the game for as long as I could but the motion blur wound up being a bit much for me, overall I had fun though.
I think the game is really cute! I wish I wasn't talking to void people though, a little stand in would have been nice and I did find myself wandering around until something happened when I didn't quite know what to do. The music also felt a little out of place until the twist at the end. Overall I enjoyed it though!
The game looked so cool, I just wish I knew how to play.
I can't open it on mac it says the file is damaged
It was a really neat concept however I can't seem to jump in the game for some reason, I really wish I could continue because the art style is super cute.
Really enjoyed this! it was fun but simple enough that even when I got a little lost I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong fairly quickly. The art was also nice to look at which was a plus.
I loved the graphics! The simple pixel art with the super calming elevator music is a great mix for a game where you're an assassin. Though, I would have liked a bit more of a tutorial I was mostly able to figure out what to do after admittedly too many tries. I feel like being dropped in with no clear guidance of what I needed to do dampened my enjoyment a bit.
I wish I could have gotten through more of it but the motion blur made me motion sick so I had to stop earlier than I would have liked. Its a fun yet frustrating premise though! Definitely made for people like me who will just continually throw themselves at something until it works.
loved the style of this game both artistic and theme. Really reminded me of an old flash game you would play back in the day on addicting games and the like! My only issue is that maybe it has to do with the physics engine but there was a lot of times when I would place something in the circle it would get stuck under another item or get frozen in place and I would have to click around and try to find the perfect spot to get it to register and move again.
pretty fun overall! It took a few tries to figure out that capitalization and punctuation wasn't necessary but once I did I was thrown straight back into typing games from highschool
Harod's gotta be my favorite character from any jam game thats my son really solid work, simple and fun!
I loved this game. The art, the music, the simplicity of the theme and execution. It was really cute! I wish I had a little more to work off of in terms of figuring out the weaknesses of the higher level ones, those wound up being a lot of guess work but I still had fun figuring it out.
I adore the style the game has, stylized town builders are some of my favorite games and I think what you guys made this look like is a feat in itself in the time given! I would love to see a finished version of this in the future
I would love to play a version of this with more minigames or like a randomized set of the games because I had a lot of fun going through the endless mode. I struggled to figure out how the match minigame worked but I wound up getting it every time even though I had no idea what I was doing.
I did break mostly everything like most people but I want to say how much I love the visuals and sound design. When I saw that you guys used procreate and paper to make the art it made a lot of sense, its really cute and soft and the texture of it all is really appealing for a little platformer like this. Not to mention I felt horrible every time I accidently jumped into the spikes because of the little squeaks
This was so unique? I loved playing it once I figured out really what I was supposed to be doing. The menu on the side is admittedly a little intimidating when I first looked at it and really I didn't pay too much attention to it as I went along and found a lot of my fun making the web and trying to navigate my way to the flies before the flew away. A little hell of my own creation but it was stupid fun to do. really lent the simple graphics well too
Had to stop myself from playing more, I could play for hours and it was really nice to play a web game that ran perfectly. Past wave 13+ the upgrades stop but you got the feel down completely, it felt like I should have been playing on a crt with a plug in controller. My only gripe is that the ant could probably be a little hard to see on a screen smaller than mine, maybe adding a segment to the body would help that a little
I think the art and the music is really nice, however the beats either don't match the music or the hitboxes for the actual notes in the "ddr" style version of your game are really off which made it really frustrating for a rhythm game. I think with more polish this concept would be really nice especially with the dark light kind of thing you guys have going for the theme.
Love this as a little idle game I was playing in the background until I realized that I could have actively been playing it because the menu options and store button opened on my second screen and I didn't even realize until I looked down. Not a fault by you but making the windows a little more manageable would help! the game also opened with a giant black screen behind the day and time counter which I thought was normal until I saw the screens of other people not having that issue. Overall super fun and I love the sprite art, well done!
Obsessed with my little frog friend, I would love to see something like this expanded but for now with the simple idea and solid execution I had a lot of fun playing
I loved what little I was able to play! the art is beautiful and it really felt like a complete game the whole package here. Unfortunately I clicked off the game and then I couldn't get the game to work again. After closing the game and reopening it the screen size was too big and no matter what I pressed I couldn't get the game to play, open config, or even close the game from the menu and had to close it manually. Really solid game until I broke it though
Loved this one didn't go too hard on the graphics but thats just what a game like this needed honestly. I had a lot of fun playing this I wouldn't mind playing a full endless version of this
I really liked the intro and do really wish that energy and style could have been brought through to the rest of the game, I also wish things were a bit more clearly labeled
wow the sheer STYLE on this game alone is incredible! The color, sprites, animation- what a treat to look at you guys did an incredible job on this
I really like the art style! its simple and cute and really fits the whole murdering the poor dinosaurs via pong
I'm glad the graphics were kept simple here it helped me focus on how bad I am at spelling but I had a lot of fun with this one!
Screenshot 2025-10-18 012352.png I have been playing this for HOURS now and will continue to play it, I really loved how all this came together, its chill and not stressful and feels nice to play. If I would suggest something I would like to see a key or legend for what the different power ups, it was a bit hard to differentiate them after playing for a while. The only minor issue I had was when the cards would fly off to be counted for the score any card with a powerup wouldn't be taken and I would have to manually move it Either way! fantastic job! I would love to see this expanded upon
I love the cute sprites and the game became a lot more fun once I realized I could double and triple jump, this is something I know I could sink hours into. Only thing I ran into was that sometimes skipping the tutorial would LAUNCH me way past the my character and the camera would have to come back to where the character was lol
I loved the little sprites the art was really cute and simple to read, I feel like long term it would benefit from powerups or some kind of way to defend instead of just evasion but overall I really liked it!
Loved how hard you went with the windows computer theming, the flashing filter was a bit hard to get used to though. I kind of screwed both me and my friend over so maybe a timer on how long a loop should go before it cancels and goes onto the next stage would be nice
Wish there was clearer instruction but I liked the models and art in your game
Loved your sprites, the bright colors and cute graphics were really nice to look at
The aesthetic was really nice and the game ran really smooth The enemy literally just slid towards me. unsure if that was intended but it happened.
I really liked your character, I really wish you would have at least laid some more textures down, but this seemed a little ambitious
I liked the art of the characters a lot and the little animation of the umbrella floating was really charming I just wish they were more of the focus
Art is super cute! Though the instructions were a little unclear with a bit of trial and error I was able to figure it out
The sheer simplicity and snappy-ness of the visuals and audio do so much to elevate this experience I loved playing this
I read the instructions, I did, and it still didn't prepare me. It took me a few times to really understand how to do things but after I did it was pretty addicting
