I agree with the rest of the comments here, clever and very fun take on the theme ! Watching the face of the lil fish as the water goes down makes you *really* willing to save him haha. Great job !!

Wait what the hell did I just play..?! Haha well first and foremost congrats to the artist and the voice actor haha you sure committed into that ! For the game itself, well it mostly is a "close your eyes and violently harass your left click while screaming hysterically", which is not much of a "well furnished" game but it fits for a game jam ! Good work to everyone I'm sure you had a lot of fun making this :)
Very cool atmosphere ! Nice thinking of the theme limited space for the small hex area where the goal is simply to make the most of it. Quite close to a previous concept of mine, so I might be biased from the start but I liked it ! ;)
Friendly correction at the very end of your plot, should be written "has begun" :) Good game overall, I especially like the physics behind the moving and jumping. It's very satisfying to move and jump around, and feels easy to handle. Nice little plot !
I mean what we have here is simply a super well-polished, finished game. The experience feels great, the camera shakes, the controls, the simple shapes yet great general vibe... And one could easily imagine this game becoming a subjects to kind of friendly tournaments between friends, since you can have several different strategies : focus on shooting the enemies, or focus on cleansing the dead zones, gaining time, etc etc... Congrats !
I had the ending with the tree cut down to make a bridge out of the island. The fact to let the player think about what his options are is great. However I suggest using full words for your hints ("RMB" => right mouse click) to be sure everyone gets the hint, rather than thinking about the r, m and b keys of the keyboards. Good job !
Great mini-game ! The interface is especially well-made and satisfying to use and navigate in, except for one big thing for me, which is that I spend quite some time trying to decipher the purpose of each component around my card, as the hint text on the top right corner is way too small, imho. Also, I feel like the theme has been kinda let down..? The "spaces" that are limited here and that are the economy you spend, are just named this way to justify the theme but that's not enough for me I'm afraid.
But overall, really smooth and well-polish game :)
Played a dozen games for now, and this one's the best so far !! Good job guys, the mood, the humor, the concept, the very clever use of the theme, the progression over time... just a very nice work !
@minro @kilthorne @captainzo @jk5000 @eryph and @scrapmetal especially haha thank you guys for your kind words, feedbacks and enthusiasm !! It feels great ! @federick-adrian-coo yes our frame rate and mouse sensitivity might be a bit unsettling, that's one axis of improvement for sure, and we plan on fixing it !
See you all in the comment sections of your own games !
Nice little game ! I agree the blue keys disappear a bit too fast. I like the idea that the boss's projectiles remain stationary in the area to really make it a "limited space". Also, when the boss shoots in spiral in the second phase, you can find safe spots where none of its projectiles will reach you, while you shoot him down safely. Maybe find another pattern ? Good stuff overall !
