The art is absolutely gorgeous! For anyone reading this that made the same mistake I did, you can type the letters as soon as you see them 😂 once I understood the core mechanic, it was super satisfying to play. I got all the way to the end 😁

Really cool entry! I loved the concept and the overall mood you’ve created here. The gameplay feels very neat and engaging for a short jam game. Well done to the team! Left my ratings. If you have a couple of spare minutes, feel free to check out our game about a bomb-crafting cat as well! 🐱💣

Great entry! The visuals are stunning!

I felt like the outcome of a run was very random. Sometimes the flight organette just wouldn't give out any letters in the first 5 or so sections and the run was doomed from the start. I also failed once with max upgrades even when hitting all the letters in the flight organette and keeping the voltage regulator in the green for the whole duration. The flight organette just wouldn't give me any letters for such a long while that I crashed. 😅

Overall it was still a super nice and enjoyable entry. 😁

The artstyle is amazing and really nice.

I had the same issue as juutis though, the organette wouldn't give out letters at all for a while.

Great visuals and music, and the game was solidly programmed. But there's quite a few gameplay design issues:

♠The gameplay is very random. Games often try to regulate the randomness in a way that keeps it from being the deciding factor in how much progress is made, since pure randomness can be very frustrating. I recommend altering the letter spawn rate to guarantee atleast 1 letter every other strip or so.

♠The menu uses only the mouse, but the gameplay uses only the keyboard. This sets an awkward cycle of constantly having to reposition your right hand on every crash. I recommend adding keyboard controls to the menu.

♠Dialogue is a bit slow. I recommend printing it 2-3 letters at a time per frame instead of 1.

♠Lastly, I'd recommend having the controls written down somewhere more easily accessible.

Cool idea! I think the voltage upgrade was maybe a bit too much for me, but I also generally found the game a bit easier without upgrades; you could just balance the incoming letters and on a decent run you largely wouldn't need any to keep going for a good distance.

The intro screen text scroll in was very slow... this is one of my pet peeves in narrative sections; a trick here is to allow one click to fully reveal the text, so if your reader has a reading pace faster than your scroll speed they can just finish the line on their own. Not a huge deal, just a QOL thing to consider for future games.

Overall cool little game! Nice work!

Very pretty game, and an interesting introduction to the story. I, however, am not a great typist and could not make it very far. I would tend to agree with several of the other comments here, the letters coming in (at least with just the first tier of letters) felt like there was a lot of variation on if they would be grouped or just leave me to drop from the top of the screen to the bottom with no hope. In the couple of tries that I was making progress I thought the flight physics were an interesting twist on the typing game mechanic; it was feeling like it wasn't always best to hit the letters as soon as they came in but when they were needed for the flight; I thought that was cool. Overall a cool game, well done!

love the look and vibe of the game. i love when you can feel a potential rich back story and world building at a glance. i will say the game play doesn't suit me at all (the brainlit that i am) but i see the appeal. i do wish there was a guided tutorial or at least a little more hand holding for the first flight or two. also these dubious creatures are such a mood Screenshot 2026-10-21 063902.png

Aaaah I love the art style and character designs so much!!!

The art of this game is amazing! The concerns are the same as other comments say, but the vibes of it are so inspiring. Great work for a jam!

I feel like half the UI wasn't visible to me when I tried playing. I couldn't play because of that. Only saw letters to type once I was nearly already crashed. The UI didn't even show up until after my 3rd crash.

Beautiful art! The characters are so cute, I love it.

I experienced the same frustrations others are noting, especially the randomness of the flight organette leading to many many many crashes that I couldn't have avoided, because I just am not offered any letters to press. I'm very good at typing games and was excited to speed through that mechanic, but unfortunately it's more a test of my luck in being offered letters to type, and it seems the dice are skewed considerably towards crashing.

That said, the nice aesthetics and the fun theme kept me going long enough to get past these annoyances, and I did make it to the end eventually! I'm actually still not sure what music has to do with the flight theme, but that's okay, the world was whimsical enough that I didn't pay this too much mind. 🙃

It looks really cool and you've done a fantastic job with the art, music and atmosphere, but the letters didn't show up fast enough for me to stay in the air, like others have said, so I didn't get to play a lot of it. Would love to hear if you make any changes though because I love typing games and I want to see where the story of this one goes.

Nice game, I love the graphics, combined with the music (I know you opted out of audio but still, nice choice of music) really set the mood. I also like the writing at the beginning, it also plays into the mood and had a cozy story book feel. Though I didn't get very far with the gameplay, the gauge and the letters never showed up so I would just keep crashing soon after I took off.

Really loved the visual style! It's a pretty simple game, but the whole idea of using flight to tell a story is really creative. The art style especially caught my attention, it has this charming old-fashioned look that reminds me a bit of The Aviator and Hugo, that movie with the automaton and the early days of cinema.

There's something really nice about this combination of old technology, flying machines, and that almost storybook atmosphere. I also like how you managed to make something so simple feel unique and memorable. It's always cool to see games that try to tell a story in an unusual way. Really nice ideas here, well done guys!

Cute little comfy game. reminds me of old flash games, so double fitting for old tech. Good job, well done. Instructions were kind of unclear.
