I'm unable to play this on Mac, the download only includes an .exe as far as I can tell.

I wasn't even able to find a fifth person.
Sweet! That was pretty cool. I like the leg movement and the design of the player. It was really hard for me to differentiate the targets from the rest of the scenery at first, but I figured it out. Thanks!
Couldn't find the fifth person, but otherwise I liked it! Like the feel of the spider alien you control. Graphics are solid too! Well done!
Dig the music and the tri-pedal creature design. The lock-on when aiming near a citizen was a nice touch. Makes the controls feel very polished. Nice work!
A bit strange. It was tough to figure out what to do, but I eventually figured it out. Good job!
Man, I really liked the leg movement and the dounds. I captured everyone and then... what was supposed to happen?
I liked it a lot, I felt the atmosphere was very creepy and mysterious. I think the mechanics could use some more "juice" though (screenshake, hit effects, walking sounds, etc.). Overall great job!
I love the premise and the atmosphere, you really nailed the lighting. I also love how the citizens are physics objects, just adds a goofy touch to the whole thing. The core gameplay loop is underwhelming though. There needs to be some variety and tension. As it stands, there's no real challenge. I'd love to see a time limit, some level variation (perhaps some verticality), and some AI. It would be great if citizens ran from you when you spotted them, and I think the game would benefit a lot from having some sort of obstacle, such as police that try to hunt you down before you hunt down the citizens. Overall great idea that I would love to see you expand on!
The sound is fun and graphics are both very good, it could use some ambient background music though. the gameplay wasnt there to keep me going for the entire game, but good job on the atmosphere
collected all the citizens, then hit the green button on the building with the green lights to find the real end game! really loved it even though some were a little tricky to find!
Really interesting, I enjoyed the animations and the mood it created a lot. It felt creepy in a very good way, and the insect/robot character was very satisfying to control. I think adding some extra element of danger would be nice, as it felt pretty simple to progress, but overall very good!
Full Play through:
I definitely got bored really fast. Thank goodness that you put a goal for us at the end otherwise I would have quit halfway through day 2. Shift to the rescue! (maybe allow us to fly like a plane or helicopter or something to spice it up:)
I love some of the hiding spots though, that was good:)
Strafing and left-right should've had reversed controls.
A countdown timer and YOU LOSE screen would have been nice. Something to encourage frantic finding (and subsequent missing of people)
I didn't play twice but are the people randomly placed? You could just have each night pick from a set larger than the number of people if not.
Mood was your strongest point. The neon-future thing worked. And that God Sound Recording at the end "say ah"
Music as well as ambient would have been nice.
I loved the "bikes" great use of spheres and toruses :)
Cages were on point in quality, same for trash cans and trees and shrubs. The cityscape could've used some spice. Maybe flickering lights?
There are other bots. Two player co-op is a possibility post-jam (race to collect 'em all).
Finally, the sound effects for correctly and incorrectly looking at a human with the flashlight is waayy tooo loud/strong/abrupt. Breaks up the mood and gets really old, real fast. Ended up muting and unmuteing to hear the ambient but not the people sounds.
OVERALL: I gave you a 3.5, could be a 4, but wasn't fun enough for me:/
I can't wait to see all that graphics talent and mood talent in future games
The feeling of creeping around the city scanning and abducting people was pretty cool. Those guys in the bushes were jerks and deserved everything they got. I was glad for the sprint button, but since there was no reason not to just hold it down for the entire game I think that probably should have just been the normal movement speed.
@bean I found the last one next to one of those bike things, I don't know what to do next though. There is a lack of explanation of what to do maybe highlighting where to store them or make it visually different. The voice cameos were really funny though its a shame I cant finish it!
Animations worked and strafing predator was useful to find effectively some more those hiding bastards. While there was not any challenging in this game, this was just a nice gaming experience in an ambienced atmosphere. Still wondering why the futuristic town using garbage containers or maybe those just are not that what are they look like...
Great concept I thought it was really cool. I liked the funny voice sounds. The lighting was cool and the charater movement was different.
Neat idea, but it gets tiresome almost immediately. With no real threat and nothing changing from level to level, there's no incentive to keep playing except for a potential payoff of "seeing Him" which, I'll admit, will keep people invested (though that payoff landed flat as well). Some sort of threat to the player would be great, or new levels, or moving citizens -- something to change the pace.
Great concept, need some work for objectives, but i liked!
I met him. I really like the weird atmosphere and vibe to the game.
Super cool game! I love the sound effects used with the little people. It did take me a bit to find all the people but I enjoyed doing it.
The controls are a bit disorienting, but otherwise I love the art style, very moody!
Cool!
It had a nice mood to it and like the graphics, but found the controls a little confusing at first. I kept expecting Q and E to rotate. Mainly though I got bored by day 3. Maybe some threats or challenges to make it harder to keep it interesting?
I liked it at first but it gets old fast, the only chalenge is finding where are the citizens. I stopped at wave 3, needs something more to do.
Hi, your game is tagged as linux but I don't find the linux binaries.
Nice atmosphere and 3D models!
Very nice style, loved the narrative you've got going on here, super moody environment, I dig it all.
@slotha There is a green button on the container where you spawn on the first night, you have to walk into that to press the button, once you have captured everyone, same with the instruction that comes after.
It's a little scary ... People didn’t even resist ... But I like this game, great mood
Really good game, i liked explore and search in this small city. A little bit repetitive after 2 night but relaxing. The game is not difficult, but that's not the goal i think.Great mood and good realisation ! Good job !! (PS: Voice acting was hilarious) mett.jpg
I realized I've played the game wrong, but when I go back and replay... It's kinda fun and hilarious, I think. The gameplay isn't that interesting but it's fun and a bit entertaining, also I love how the ambient sounds fits the environment in the night time. Else is fine, like graphics, sounds, etc.
