The controls are very inconvenient. The car constantly rolls to the left. I understand that this is done so that the player crashes into everything and loses money, but I just adapted to this mechanic and used it to my advantage. @mumaitron Thank you for explanation. From my experience, I can say that coming up with some mechanics already during LD is not a good idea, since it takes a lot of time. At the final selection, I try to think about what a game can be made and how it should be played, and so on for each of the final themes. This greatly helps me and the people with whom I work to speed up the creation process, not to be distracted by inventing something, to meet the deadline. Of course, sometimes it turns out that at the initial stage a better idea comes up and you can still change part of the project, but after the second day of development we try to finish the project with those mechanics that we came up with earlier.

This is cool for the first project. Some of the sprites were on top of the character for some reason. It also seems to me that the jump was not big enough. Because of this, for the passage, I used a character stuck in the walls (most likely this is a bug. And a little annoying). The graphics look cool.
The game looks funny and is somewhat reminiscent of ETG (EnterTheGungeon). After 3 rings it becomes quite difficult, but if you use dodge, you can speed up and go faster than you will lose all lives.

It looks good, but it's boring to play. Lost interest at level 13. There is no point in killing opponents. I have not found a single store for 13 levels. The whole point is to find a hole and jump down. By the way, finding a hole is quite difficult, since the floor lighting does not help at all. It would be better to make a minimap. I really liked that it is possible to rotate the camera in the car, the only thing that is unusual is that there are no rear-view mirrors. I also had fun with the radio and then had an accident with another car. The game is very cool. thanks
An unusual idea for the game. I liked the game, although the control of the character is very slow, which makes the transition between rooms take a very long time.
Very good result for the first jam game. I really liked the preview with the main character in the game menu.

A fun game. It reminded me very much of the Portal. To be honest, I haven't solved some of the puzzles. The game has the ability to jump up if you stand on the rising panel. If you move while lifting the panel, you will be thrown to the side of the movement. Thus, you can fly over the chasm on the last level and not complete the puzzle.
It was epic. Very cool game, but there are some optimization problems. Overall I liked it!

@james-greenleaf In the web (HTML5) version, due to the image processing algorithm, the page may freeze for some players. It's not perfect, sometimes a simple page reload helps.

I edited the validation algorithm many times, trying to achieve some kind of balance :sweat_smile: The most effective way to pass validation is to try to paint over as many dark pixels as possible. A simple and enjoyable auto battler with random elements. I liked that I had to study which item gives which buff by myself like good old games. Among the shortcomings, sometimes objects are not visible due to tombstones. I also had a bug that level 7 was completed automatically (there were already dead opponents). Also I wanna know is it possible to beat the game, or it is endless? Nice work!

Немного удивился, увидев 1Gb в загрузках, но у анрила все проекты весят тонну. Прикольная графика, музыка тоже подобрана атмосферная. Из недоработок: прыжок с задержкой; не совсем понятно, когда меня атакуют, а когда я. Но в целом это не помешало мне пройти игру.
I don’t see IF (aka text quests) very often, so I was pleasantly surprised. Some sprites are blurry in places, but overall the graphic style is readable and interesting. Nice work.

@quasilyte Thanks again for beating the game! The revolver was added literally in the last hours of the event (like many other things), but I agree, an empty revolver doesn't sound very cool. As for the hunger bug - I'll try to find out what the reason is (although, it may help someone to go a little further😈) And yes, if you catch a turtle, it will give you... _a mushroom_.

@python-b5 Hi, thanks for playing! Unfortunately, creating such a game in three days from scratch is quite difficult. There simply wasn't enough time to adjust the balance (I'm sure every participant is familiar with that). And I think changing the balance **after** the submission period is _unfair_ to other participants (because it's a feature that changes the gameplay after all).
Regarding scissors and other things - at the beginning of the journey the **knight asks you to hit him with your sword**. This is **a basic rule** showing that the **player can use items on creatures**. And what effect this will have - can be understood from the thoughts of the heroine after using it, or from the visual effects (for example, the sound of the hit and the shaking of the creature indicates that it has _received damage_). _Finding a use for a particular item_ is also one of the game mechanics that _can_ make the game easier. (_TLDR: scissors can be used as weapon, it has random damage every hit (# ̄ω ̄) _)
Yea, I agree that it turned out to be difficult and repetitive in some places. The game has a lack of polishing. But I'm very glad that there were many people who liked it even in this state.
As for the font, it's most likely due to adaptive scaling of the UI. Without bluring, it would likely be heavily distorted (and again, I just have no time to test it ( ╥ω╥ )). I can't say that it's displayed absolutely wrong, or that antialiasing makes it difficult to read the text, even though the font is pixelated.
Thanks for feedback anyway, I will take this into account in future projects (=`ω´=) ~
Простые и приятные механики и визуал. Моб, похожий на скелета (и бьет всех по два раза), и два червяка снесли мою команду за два хода :skull: Прикольный мини-рогалик!
+rep за использование гамака, и что запарился сделать игру в мультиплеере. К сожалению, матч так и не нашло... Наверно стоит добавить примитивных ботов (если не сложно), чтоб можно было в соло поиграть, когда онлайна нет (или друзей...)
The simple, but well-polished game. There is a strategy to easily beat it - just dig a path one tile wide, and kill the green guys when they are behind you :sunglasses: nice job!

Сделать такое за 48 часов, это очень жестко :sunglasses: Вообще люблю стратегии. В игре много параметров, разбираться первое время было тяжеловато, но интересно. Тут ещё в добавок три расы есть, а механику побега из-за низкой морали я вообще вижу впервые. Крутая игра!
Реально Cinema с ломанием 4 стены :smile: Наверно, одна из самых забавных игр, что я играл на этом джеме. Полишинг очень высокого уровня, шрифт смотрится классно, как и голоса персонажей.
Некий Hotline Miami на минималках) Третий уровень сложный, но прикольный, приходилось таймить свет. Ну, ещё можно подправить английский, местами он ломаный (например, вместо gravity лучше подойдет weight)
Комикс в начале прикольный. Дроппер геймплей весьма простой, респект за чекпоинты. Игра коротулька, но уверен с лихвой обойдет множество других, для первого проекта очень круто!
Некий кроссовер Клети и Дума :smile: Визуал атмосферный, геймплей интуитивно понятен (+ ещё есть гайды на листочках в начале). Не уверен, рандомится ли предметы на этажах, но я просто нашел 5 канистр на втором этаже, и спустился до самого низа)) Единственное, что действительно не хватает, это звук хита по игроку. Ещё немного удивило, что противники с автоматами, а дерутся в ближнем бою (но в целом это наверно даже плюс, потому что если кто-то бы стрелял в тебя из темноты, было бы намного сложнее играть). В целом отличная работа!
Спустился до самого низа :sunglasses: Игра напомнила чем-то Lorn's Lure, тоже бегаешь-паркуришь по заброшенным руинам. Ещё понравилось, что есть рандомизация уровней (или мне так показалось?). И на мой взгляд, хп можно было не добавлять, в целом сильно на геймплей не сказывается. Хорошая работа!

Игра визуально выглядит супер, +реп за обучение, т.к. сперва не понял, что класть карту на ПКМ :upside_down: Про баги писать не буду, тут наверное уже много таких комментов. По геймдизайну - сейчас играть невероятно просто. В том плане, что я буквально закрывал все испытания на мониторах без использования таких механик, как джокеры, таро и магазин. По сути, стандартной колодой 27 карт их все можно выполнить, просто правильно нажиная Пас, за что игра как мне показалось вообще не наказывает. Ещё я не совсем понял, к чему в итоге я должен прийти по мере прохождения (сорри, у меня просто сломалось отображение карты на третий ход). Я вроде ходил по разным клеткам, но мне попадались либо испытания, либо магазин кролика. Если в планах допилить игру до релиза в стиме, всё это обязательно стоит продумать имхо. А так, для двухдневной игры проект выглядит очень солидно, отличная работа!
I really like that you made a small cutscene at the very beginning. Very few games implement something like this, it's cool! In the game itself, it seemed that there were too many enemies, but this did not prevent me from completing the game, great job :sunglasses:
Где-то в 2010х выходила похожая игра - SCP-087 (тоже нужно было спускаться по лестнице), очень напомнило по вайбу. Про размытость писали верно, чуть уменьшить и будет норм. Ещё не очень понятно, как спасаться от монстра (если это возможно конечно), один раз он повалил меня, и прогресс сохранился, в другой - нет... Прикольно, что если посмотреть вверх, то там будет небо
Very unusual experience :thinking: A quite creative approach of the jam theme. I really like the visual style and scene animations, they reminded me of "The Silent Age".
What could be improved is the sound of dialogues (maybe try to lower the high pitches), and adding an outline for the text. Great job!
Chill game, there are some things I really enjoyed: - art style is pleasing - background music is calm, so even when I failed almost all my customers' orders I felt good :upside_down: - there is highlighting when I interract with something - intuitive controls #### What can be improved - sometimes when I interracted with food, I couldn't place it at any table, or take any new one - lack of goal (for example, give the player points for completing the orders) - maybe some UI
Тоже решил поделиться небольшим фидбеком. Для полноценной аркады не хватает доп. условия проигрыша, например если брать Space Invaders, то там инопланетные корабли опускаются со временем вниз, и тебе надо успеть их всех уничтожить. Сейчас в игре есть очки, но через минут 3-4 уже не так интересно, т.к. нет видимого скейлинга сложности, присущего большинству подобных игр. По оружиям - я бы зеленую сферу переработал, ей тяжело попасть, и по сравнению с другими пушками выглядит слабовато. Ну и ещё к 13000 очкам у меня почему-то перестало стрелять любое оружие (даже обычное), хотя боеприпасы были, мб баг, но не уверен. Визуально игра выглядит хорошо, все корабли и снаряды четко читаются, но power-апы можно сделать чуть больше, чтобы их легче было различить на экране
Очень долго летел в пустоте, сперва думал, что это невидимая стена, а нет, всё-таки сигнала достигнуть можно :boom: Для первой игры хорошо!

ld1.png Чтобы пройти игру, использовал стратегию, где муравей-сенсор ходит по уже прорытым путям и мониторит клубнику, а работяга (джун xd) делает всю грязную работу. Не знаю, также у настоящий муравьев или нет, но игра получилась неплохая (учитывая, что это первый LD и компо). На будущее, можно поглядеть A*-алгоритм поиска путей, чтоб муравьи выстраивали пути уже по прорытым ходам автоматически

Очень понравился визуал, простой и приятный. Круто вылетают всякие надписи при хитах. Как будто бы я вернулся в эпоху флеш игр :smile: Не хватает только отображения прогрессии (очков за пройденные этажи и противников например), а так отличная работа!
ld0.png Прикольная механика клаймбинга, с чередованием рук. Местами как будто хитбокс зацепа можно побольше сделать, но всё и так проходимо, хорошая работа!
I like the concept and style of Mecha, like in 80's anime, but the game currently has several critical problems:
1. Optimization suffers - the browser simply can't handle the huge number of enemies, and if the player doesn't destroy them (for example, because he's controlling a mecha), they'll fill the entire screen, and everything will freeze; 2. There are no conditions for defeat and restarting the game; when my HP drops to zero, the game continues (mb it's a bug);
It might also be worth adding some hints with controls into the game itself - this will make the game easier for players who missed the text on the game page.
I think that the battle with Kaiju is cool and you could try to polish it up
@alexander-stepanov Yea, decrypting messages isn't an easy task :sweat_smile: If you get stuck somewhere, you can try resetting the signal by typing **/drop**, then reconnect; a new one should appear.
@talan-huszk Pinning the notes is a good idea, I'm planning to make a small post-jam bugfixing and quality-of-life update.

The Morse symbols (grouped dashes and dots) are separated by one space symbol rn, and I agree that the font and CRT shader make the spacing a bit... _difficult_ to read :sweat_smile: Two spaces (or different font) would probably fix this issue; I'll keep that in mind.

There are four servers in the game: 1. **The default one**, for simple, unencrypted messages; they're the cheapest ($15-$20 per message) 2. **Morse code server** (the name speaks for itself, ~$50 per message) 3. **Fishscript server** (also a type of encryption, $100-$200 per message) 4. **Lambda server** (this one based on math and the position of a letter in the alphabet, the most expensive ones are $500+ per message)
I agree, there wasn't much interaction outside of your PC (to be honest, just picking up packages xd). But I felt like being able to go _offline_ was an important part, even if we didn't have time to fill it with _engaging content_.
And I believe everyone should touch the grass from time to time, one day it will definitely bear fruit~

Крутая идея и реализация! Несмотря на темную атмосферу, окружение и звуки наоборот показались мне приятными и успокаивающими. Ещё нашел утку, которую можно пожамкать, и она издаст звук, но не понял, считается ли это за сигнал (в тот момент игры уже вся комната была в них). Концовка тоже показалась забавной xd
Был незначительный визуальный баг, когда насекомые после удаления растения оставались кружиться.
Overall - Сильная заявка на кубок Ludum, отличная работа!
Клевые арты (как чиби, так и полноразмерные персонажи) и музыка, ещё хорошо бы добавить регулятор громкости. Core Gameplay четкий - ВН с трейдами - buy low, sell high как говорится. Но деньги тратить можно только на покупку самих товаров. Было бы прикольно подсветить некую денежную цель для игрока (вижу у вас в планах fail state, наверное самый сбалансированный вариант - иметь определенную сумму на конец дня, или типа того)
Механика прокалывания перфокарта сделана прикольно, особенно понравилось то, что прокалывать их можно было сразу несколько, не знаю почему, но это эстетически приятно~ Визуал и амбиент тоже весьма атмосферные
Возможно словил баг, но у меня листочки на доске приходилось закликивать, чтобы поменять их местами
А так прошел игру два раза, думал мб есть секретная концовка :smile:
Не, ну это очередной RTS шедевр. Жанр и так не простой, но каждый раз удивляюсь качеству проработки. Хотя признаюсь честно, по началу тупил - не понимал, что к чему коннектить. По итогу - слил все ресурсы в солдатиков, которых потом снес вражеский шагоход или что-то типа того xD

Старая добрая игра "проверялка", но в стиле Western. Музыка и графика приятная. Единственное, чего не хватает, это трекинг, сколько ещё вагонов нужно проверить в текущем дне. Не совсем понятно, проверка ограничена по внутриигровому времени, или кол-вом вагонов в день? Ещё словил небольшой баг, что у меня 4 день стартовал три раза подряд, но так даже лучше, закрыл квоту без особых трудностей xd
