I really liked your incorporation of story elements into an otherwise normal puzzle game. Not a lot of Ludum games try to go for a narrative.

The puzzle aspects were a bit finnicky to figure out, but ultimately completable. However, I completed all the puzzles by running into a block using my lower half to slide the top block off onto a button. I'm really not sure if this was intentional; it seems like your screenshots show you throwing the block, rather than sliding it off.

Despite the lack of polish in some areas, I think this is a much more cohesive experience than a lot of the other entries I've played. Nice work!

I have to say, that I enjoyed this game. The underlying concept seems to be solid foundation for something bigger. Story seems to be pretty interesting, I genuinely want to know, what happened next!

Agree @chaosed0, daring choice to go for a story in a LD game! I struggled a lot with the controls, it took me a while to get past the first level (I actually got stuck a few times), but it was smooth sailing after I figured out the "technique". Great job :smile:

I loved the backgrounds and the cutscene art, the washed out style is really good. I managed to miss the bit about using shift to throw, so I went through the whole game trying to bump my box into corners to get the top box to slide off me, but it was still a good challenging puzzle.

Also, if I'm a human box, was I killing tons of other humans to achieve my goals?

Sometimes the jump does not work. Background slightly hurts your eyes, because a big difference in resolution between the background and the environment sprites, I suppose. But overall not bad)

A really cool concept, but the controls were really tough to use right (also I got stuck in the floor at one point). I liked the general feel of the game.
