EDIT: I removed my original comment, I apologize that was for another game. This was a fun game and I liked its art style. It is very unique. However I am unsure if there is a way for me to win..

Other than i do not know really if and how to win, really liked the concept idea and gameplay with the somewhat tactical aspect of the choice of the cards. Hope you guys keep on working on the game and not let it die out because the idea is too good.

Interesting concept. The dungeon crawler card system kind of reminds me of The Guild of Dungeoneering. Not sure I like the colour scheme you went for though. White, Cyan and slightly greener Cyan doesn't make for great legibility and I found it hard at times to see what square I was on, or even where the first starting square was.

I thought this game was cool! The art style is simplistic and it really has potential!

I enjoyed how unique this game was compared to others and I had fun with it, however i felt that maybe the green tiles for when you have previously been on seems a little to close to white and i had hard time telling them apart but maybe its just my monitor. Good job

Nice work. Longest I could make it was 62 years. Fits the theme super well and has a board game feel that I really like. Some music and sound effects would be really nice.

Simple but fun game, very excellent!

Nice game. I would have love to see more choices. If you push it further, let me know. Congrats

Really engaging game for me, I was already pulled in by the main screenshots cuz it seemed like Her Majesty with a dungeon crawler behind it, and you made a decent hybrid of those. One thing I thought was interesting was how all the stat juggling was hard to calculate, I was tempted to bust out the calculator and figure out what an optimal path would look like, but I decided not to and just play the game straight. I'm curious what kind of scores you can achieve. I don't know if there's a very optimal strat out there but I got ~230 gold and 14 monsters down. Great concept and I'd love to see an evolved version of this.

Nice work, I really like the concept however I wish I had a clearer driving goal rather than just walking around trying to balance my "stats". Is there any keyboard shortcuts om the HTML5 version by any chance? My mouse settings are much too fast for me to be able to precisely and painlessly click on each cell.

Also, loved the tentacle in all its evil purpleness, or lack thereof. :)

Cool idea, though there were a limited number of unique cards. Letting the player choose which cards they want to pick is a nice feature, but the fact that they can choose none at all with just the slight penalty of -2 years is a shame. Giving the player more meaningful/impactful options would be a good improvement, like 'guarded the princess' or 'defended a village.' Nice entry all around though.

Neat game with nice clear visuals. I know there're the final stats wich work as score, but I'd like to have a goal (visit this many tiles/travel there etc.). Instead of the alert (which is frankly a bit obnoxious), you could have colored the valid tiles.
