It's a a good game overall, the shooting mechanism is interesting but I found it boring pretty quickly. In my opinion the weakest point is the music and that because of the fact that there is almost no melody.
A really great game! I love the soundtrack!
Amazing, Love the gameplay, Love the humour, And the sounds...
BTW you have a typo in your description: meen should be mean
A great game! I found myself trapped for a couple of minutes in this procedural generated maze. I really love the soundtrack which I found really entertaining. However I could never finish the game because of the game breaking bug you mentioned earlier. Notify me later, I would love to play a correctly functioning version
A good game overall, but it's a pity that the chicken grabbing and spawning is a bit glitchy. BTW you made that with Godot right?
My game was made with Godot too, what a wonderful engine, isn't it?
I'll try to run it through wine, it's a pity that there is no Linux build.
Great game but it's so hard! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Linux Build wors like a champ BTW
@pcmxms Thank you! Don't forget to rate it
@call-me-nutty Thanks for the feedback! My original goal was to add more weapons to compensate the difficulty but I was really tired at the end (cca 3 hours before the end of the compo) so I dropped it :(
@camcam-s5 Thanks! My personal best is about 17000 :D
@gastricsparrow Thanks for the feedback !
@fancyreckless Well it's a compo so I made all the sounds, imagine the face of a person walking into my room while screaming in the microphone ... And yeah the weapon in the next run is a bug and I'll fix it as soon as I can but I have a lot of school work right now. Cheers!
@icxon Oh yeah the detection system is a bit weird but I didn't have time to improve it... And I wanted to add power-ups and more weapons but still... not enough time  Anyways, Thanks for the feedback!
@raven Thanks for the feedback! And yeah it is my own voice
A really great game! It's a pity that I couldn't play it in full screen...
Really good game! I love it, The strongest point is the music, even if it's simple it's really entertaining. I would suggest more types of buildings. BTW the Linux Build doesn't work :(
Great Idea, even if I don't especially like this type of games I kinda enjoyed it. I would suggest you to put the music a bit louder and give more feedback (audio) to the user when he loses a life or kills a zombie. An the linux build works btw
Very polished game, the puzzles are really nice and the atmosphere is soothing. The controls can be a bit awkward sometimes.
Nice for game for 48h. Really cute user interface, the concept of the game is pretty nice but kinda hard if you don't know your periodic table or you're bad at mental math lol. And to be honest I don't quite see the instability here. I don't know about the word matching system, but if you made it from scratch hats of.
I think this would make a good mobile game, seems like a cool concept for a casual game to play in the public transports after a long day at University during the winter, you know that time when it's dark early and you just want to get home but the freaking snow slows down everything...
@hanna404 Hey, thanks for reporting the bug. It's now fixed. The orange juice triggers an anxiety attack and thus slows you down. I think it's not clear enough that the plushies and the juice are not something you directly interact with.
@antti-haavikko Hey! Thanks for the detailed feedback, the main idea was to give the character different troubles that would trigger pseudo-randomly (hence mentally unstable).
I don't know about your opinion on the core mechanics being pointless but I agree that depression is currently too strong, we plan on improving the visibility in the post jam version.
Anxiety makes you vulnerable to the orange juice, which triggers an panic attack if you stay close to it for too long (it's a private joke and with hindsight, it should of been another item).
All the mechanics need to be re-balanced and improved together with the level design.
I (as the coder) was planning to implement some kind of dynamic camera movement & zooming to counter-balance some of the leaps of faith. I unfortunately did not have the time.
Fits the theme really well, but I found the game way to hard.
The idea is quite interesting, I think it would be cool to add a "reaction table" cheatsheet to the game. And as some said, keyboard controls would make the experience more pleasant.
Hey! Cool and cute game! The movement and the level design are on point with the theme! The instability / difficulty balance is really good, and man I love the glitching effect on the cat.
Fun game! I really liked the programmer art. Perhaps the difficulty slope was a bit too steep.
I really liked the fact that you have to plan your first path to be able to return afterwards. The voice recordings are a nice touch. It's a pity I was too "stressed" to listen to them carefully.
Awesome game! Really like the terminal aesthetics. The story was really cool, even if I lost  . Just one thing : It would be great to be able to move the cursor with the arrow keys and also maintain backspace to delete characters.
Hey! Sorry couldn't play your game. Wont run on Linux :(
Really liked the game, I was quite surprised with the game-play change (even got jump-scared lol). The music and sound was nice and the graphics really cute. I only wished there were more levels.
Gosh this is really cool and cute. The platforming physics were a bit clunky but that doesn't matter I had fun anyways :D. The art and sound effects are priceless, they remind me of flash games I was playing as a kid. Good job, I grade Meow out of 10.
