This is a cool game! I do wish the platformer controls were a bit floatier (the gravity is a bit heavy for my liking), but the graphics were nice and the game felt very polished.
Good job!

Good job!
Nice little game but I was really bad in it. :smiley:
This is a very fun game, though the fonts in the menu seems a bit cut of...I also didn't understand how the uranium falling down works. I think this game has some potential.
My keyboard will hate me for this! I like the intensity, it is however a bit too fast paced for me - there is really no time to plan your next jump at all, (spoilers) spamming jump works best. Forcing the player to go back the same way was a clever idea. BTW I originally thought the tape was a very very old school save icon, only later realized it plays messages ;)
definitely not your average platformer. really interesting use of the theme and platformer genre
Whew, that was tough! I feel that this would be a great game to speedrun, since there are *so many* different paths you can take.
Great game! I kept yeeting myself off the cliff lol. Great job!
Yes! I made it to the pool and back! Very intense game! The mechanics work good together you have to think twice about the path you take when you also planning to go back.
Really interesting and nice touch to add voice over!
Good job on this one!
Nice little game. TY for sharing!
Nice Job! I have the final audio log collected and enjoy the jumping experience! I just found the trick that you have to keep pressing the jump button to move cause if you don't do so, it's so hard to get to the pool. Really admire the audio design! Congrats!
This game had natural progression. I had so many moments where I was just SO CLOSE to making it back. I loved the game and definitely made it fun trying to plan and explore your path. I loved the audio clips adding story and depth to the world. The voice effects were cool and the music was moody. Graphics sold it all the more especially when the red alarm goes off and small bits start falling from the ceiling. I had a lot of fun :)
Hi, nice little game you have here. I like the voice acting and sound design! The theme has been nailed in multiple ways. Art style fits the purpose and the mood.
Sometimes it was a little bit frustrating, because i pressed jump but nothing happened even if i think i was on a platform. I think you can improve it with remembering that the player has pressed jump and then activate it after the player landed on the platform (within a given timeframe). The so called "Koyote Time Jump" would improve the gameplay even more.
Thank you for sharing!
Yay I did it! Loved the extra effort you put in with the voice, the audio logs, the falling blocks and the overall look! The platforming felt a bit "just jump all the time, maybe you can reach the pool and get back" unfortunately. Overall a good, polished experience, nice!
It was an awesome game! I kept playing until I finished it! Love the ambience and the saound and voice actor! The movement was so smooth~ I loved it!
Nice looking game and very complete, I like how it has a bit of a storyline and some optional content, nice to see in a jam game. Not a huge fan of how incredibly short the platform timers are, I was barely able to think about what I was doing because platforms died basically instantly.
Very interesting! The walking uranium rods are also interesting because the diving platform, which is losing its radioactivity, fits the theme of instability. However, in the process of fast movement, it is difficult to master the operation of running, and it is easy to jump to places beyond the purpose, which increases the difficulty of the game and makes it very challenging
The best part of this game was the sound design, I have not yet seen a game with spoken text, really makes it stand out. The gameplay was a bit difficult for my taste, and I could not beat the level. The art was nice and the visual effects like screen shake really were done well to make you feel like you are there. Great job this year and good luck.
Loved the voice acting, reminded me of pciking up recording from the side characters in borderlands! I managed to find all the atpes and cool down but after many attempts, just could not get back to the reactor! Great entry!
This game was really cute. I really enjoyed how I had to backtrack after cooling the rod. My path to get to the pool means I have to make a different way. I did find I could just spam the jump button and move and most of the time I could get to where I needed to go. There's also a bit of information overload with all of the possible platforms, but it kindof helps I think. Overall, really fun game!
I really liked the fact that you have to plan your first path to be able to return afterwards. The voice recordings are a nice touch. It's a pity I was too "stressed" to listen to them carefully.
oh man that was fast lol, I really like this game, also like the idea of voice records, pretty cool game
The controls feels nice, good programming there
I really liked the VO element of this game!! That's not easy to do and I think you pulled it off well. I definitely wanted to keep playing even though I was pretty terrible at it, so bravo all around!
Cool idea to play inside an unstable reactor and the fuel. It was fun and the sound was great. I liked the idea of single use platforms and having to go back the same way you came. I didn't understand why I tripped / fell down some times? Overall a solid entry great job!
I like your interpritation of the theme and how it's fitting.
I liked the element where you can collect cassette tapes.
I like the SFX and the music in the background.
I like the artstyle of the game (especially the player).
The game feels polished aswell.
I like how the tutorial was presented in the beginning.
I wish the character was a bit more floatier.
Although i don't find the game to be humorous, I do find the game to be more moody though.
Overall, good game. -WitekWitek
I enjoyed it, it took me a few tries to beat but I was able to get it. Really cool idea, I had more fun with it than I thought I would. I feel the concept/mechanics behind it could be made into a full 2D platformer.
Great game! Couldn't stop until I had beaten it :-P. The audio logs were a nice touch - awesome voice acting! Music was great too. I liked the stream of falling platforms. It made this type of unstable platformer more unique. Overall fit the theme of unstable very well. Great work and I hope you guys keep making games together!
It's a fun little game :) I ended up spamming my jump button while holding the left/right keys, and passed through it that way! Very original use of that many platforms, especially the stream, never seen before. Also, tapes were well positionned, easy enough for me to get them all while feeling great finding them.
Congrats!
I had a lot of fun beating the game. Really loved the movement! :laughing:
This is awesome, one of the more complete games I've seen so far!
One of the best entries i've seen so far. Great job! :grinning: I love the idea, very polished.
It's a very polished game with cute visuals and strong sound design. The audiologs especially were a nice addition - while the voice acting borderlined on being a bit over the top sometimes, this honestly made the performance more charmful and fun imo. Regarding gameplay, it was... okay. The platformer physics were solid, but all-around very basic and standard. Having to make the trip back did make the game a bit more thoughtful though, which I enjoyed - but I just left feeling like it could have something more.
All in all, it's a good game. Nice work!
Very nice game, had to find all the logs ;D
I won! I would lower the speed of the radiation in a post jam though. Great entry!
Good work! Сouldn't stop playing until found all audio logs
Good work, nice graphics and audio. The audio log collectables were a nice touch. I enjoyed the platforming but the way the platforms disappeared were quite unforgiving and could maybe do with tweaking a bit. The bit where the uranium fall face down it a nice feature but again a little unforgiving. It almost ended me right at the end of my run haha Great game though and well done :D
This is adorable. A uranium rod escapes a reactor to go cool off and then... go back to the core it just escaped from? Is it just doing its little part to stop the meltdown? I love it!
It could use a prompt at the start to follow the arrow - I definitely ran right into the abyss at first because I assumed it was a standard left-to-right platformer. But once I got the hang it was pretty straightforward to speedrun. The audio logs are a good temptation to break from that "just get to the end" mentality! Great use of limited scope to tell a bigger story.
Nice one! You really make a lot out of a little with the gameplay! The audio logs really strengthen the replayability, which made going back through the level over and over fun instead of frustrating.
I had some trouble collecting the audio logs in the web version (at some point they stopped reacting to my presence) and the performance made the scenery a bit hard to keep track of, but it was a cool little thing nonetheless.
Gah, forgot to post a comment!
It's a fun little entry and I appreciate how incredibly RUSHED you feel going through this game. My biggest annoyance is the little trip/knockout function as it feels arbitrary when you land it. Otherwise, the platforming mechanics are neat because the level really forces you to keep track of where you're walking, and the short length of the level keeps the restarts from being frustrating.
I like most of the game, but the audio logs are very hard to reliably listen to because it gets lost in all the chaos of the platforming. My main issue otherwise is the framerate, which tended to get a little choppy and make platforming more difficult than it already was.
In short, it's a fun bite-sized entry and I can't stay mad at that happy li'l uranium.
Great short platformer with a nice story :) Great audio, and voice over :) As well as the gameplay, nice twist when you realize that you should use the same set of platforms to get back. Good job!
The platforming felt fine. The controls were simple and easy to understand. The audio and most visuals are downright amazing, especialy the audio. It was really hard at first until i learned that by pressing the directional key and pressing jump makes the game way easier. The voice actress did a brilliant job. And i didnt like the idea of the player randomly tripping or whatever, didnt feel right, i dont know if that my mistake or its random, but i felt pretty annoyed when that happens and i dont understand why. I read a comment that says that the framerate is choppy, i had no problem with the fps, it was smooth the whole time. Overall a game with great atmosphere and great gameplay :D
That was cool to play. Interesting idea for a game. Nice job!
Rather simple mechanics. Not too difficult and not too easy game. Good work!
Excellent game! I love it! Interesting idea!
@python-b5 Yeah thats something we can look into for future platformer! Thanks :)
@jan5366x Thanks for playing :)
@neeko69 Yeah the fonts was because we didn't test in other browsers, only Chrome. Big oversight on my part! Thanks for playing :)
@mausimus Thanks for playing! Yeah the game is very hectic until you let loose and just start spamming jumps haha
@benchase Thanks!
@peace-of-cake-games Yeah its a speedy game for sure :p
@miss-iiv Hahah thanks!
@jonah Thank you very much! We're very proud of the voice over feature
@owinmowe Thanks!
@foursay Yeah thats the best way to play. I think we could've added some permanent vertical obstacles to make the pathfinding more meaningful, maybe next time!
@datadazer Thanks a lot! Im glad you enjoyed it :)
@marin0104 Thank you, the voice acting was fun to implement. We actually did have koyote time in the game set to 0.2s so perhaps its worth looking into different timings to make it feel even better.
@freeworld Thank you very much! Yeah the platformer could've been more nuanced, we planned to add more variety to the platforms but we ran out of time towards the end.
@lucy-lu Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it
@3mpty Thank you! We had a little bit of everything haha, even fake steam achievements. Yeah the timers on the platform decay was probably too brutal, maybe we should've taken it easy with our interpretation of "unstable"
@guinytime Thank you very much! I'm glad you made the connection between the little uranium character and the decay and instability of the level. :)
@scidev Thank you very much! It's a shame you didn't get a chance to beat it, it is fairly hard if you use regular platforming conventions haha
@louiejams I haven't actually played borderlands but i hear great things! Thank you very much!
@queenofsquiggles Thank you very much! Yeah the original goal was to make it even moreso about the paths you take, for example big vertical environments that made sure you only go over it once, meaning spamming space is not a valid strategy. Maybe next time!
@noethelazydev Thank you very much! Stress, instability, its all the same, no? :p
@0x-void-x0 Thank you very much!
@adrian-guevara Thank you! We tried our best to make sure the frustration stays with the environment and not the controls
@teenythanos Thank you very much! The VO was fun to do :)
@codechomper Thank you very much! The tripping and falling was intended to illustrate that even the player character is unstable. Afterall, how good would a uranium rod be at running? :p
@witekwitek Thank you very much for all of the feedback!
@validdark Thank you! Perhaps it could be, but not this time around. We have a big commercial project to focus on :p
@pixelydian Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it and manage to 100% it.
@ekilibr Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it
@simonchik Thanks!
@zazz0000 Thank you thank you! We aim to tackle all sides of games when we jam, spreading focus across all elements to make them feel polished.
@nivbeth Thanks a lot!
@masterproject Very valid points! Thanks for appreciating the efforts made to make the game, perhaps it could've been way more fun with more time since we had a lot of systems built and underutilized.
@mabuschka Thank you, congrats on finding all of them, and congrats on getting the achievement haha
@simpathey You won! Thanks for playing and thanks for streaming :)
@kyrylo-kalienich Thank you very much!
@dannyk1994 Nice but unforgiving should be the tag line of this game. Yeah if we were making a full version we could definitely tweak the platforms to be a bit more resilient and figure out how to challenge the player in other ways. Thanks for the feedback!
@rumor Thank you very much! Yeah that was the idea with the rod haha. Yeah the arrow was super last minute, but im glad it was useful eventually.
@nratcliff Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed the audio logs!
@outfrost Sorry that you had issues with the builds, we will debug with wider hardware and software configurations for future jams!
@anchorlight Hello hello submarine friend! Thank you very much for the feedback. Sorry about framerate issues, we didn't test it thoroughly enough.
@leokrechmer Thank you very much! That's the twist we were going for haha. It could have been done better but we're happy with the balance we struck within the time frame we had.
@skvader-418 Thank you very much for the nice words. Yeah the uranium tripping over his own feet was intentional. It was our way of introducing the theme "unstable" into the player character without it being overly annoying.
@zimny11 Thank you very much!
@soulo Thanks a lot :)
@coolestdoggie Thank you!
