I like how you shoot enemies with your back towards them.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD40 → The Heist

A very interesting sneaking game. I haven't figured out how to clear the room on the top left with no damage, I suppose that it isn't an option? By the way, I think you missed the F key in the instruciton, which is used to interact.
@pecolyte Thanks, indeed I forgot about F, added it to the list of controls now. You can clear the top left room by leaning away from the ladder (A or D, depending on the direction of ladder), which allows you to aim and shoot.
Make a Linux Build Please!!! :3
nice! The music is also very fitting and the graphics are awesome! Well done!
This would have been super impressive if you managed to do all of this in the jam, but its still a pretty great game. The physics is a little janky at times, e.g. when climbing stairs, otherwise the game engine looks really solid and this could have potential in a greater game. Love the music and the mood was awesome.
Cool !
nice game , i love the art style don't forget to check out my game !
good game) player anim so fun xD
How did you guys manage to make all this in less then 72 hours. Great game, and the art style is really good
Loved the mood, the music and graphics are great! It would be great if you could shoot while going up the ladders, great game!
@falk-bruskeland: Thanks! Only the level (design & scripting), soundtrack, some textures and bugfixes were made in the last two days, the rest was in development (1-2h/day on average) for 10 months or so.
I want to be clear about this since, while the rules allow posting such games (much like asset flips, except I have done most of the work here), they will inevitably be compared to others and I _don't_ want to make it seem like I did a lot more than everyone else during this jam, because I didn't.
what game engine did you use
@jeff-jade-dory-mendez: I used a custom engine, the name is "SGRX engine", as you can also see in the screenshot.

Nice overall feeling, good work!
Nice and polished game, I like the way the character is done. Pleasing for the eyes and ears, and the mechanics work well.
But most of these things have been done before the jam lol.
Don't know how it fits the theme. But I do know that I'll never be as cool as the secret agent in the game cause my arms certainly can't do that
Very fun, but rather short and doesn't really fit the theme. I like the music a lot too
I knew this was too good to be a game created during the Jam. I see you said you created just the level during the Jam. So I'll talk about that. It was a nice one, although perhaps a little too easy. I felt like there was no chance of failure. Perhaps some more guards that would have forced alternative routes.
The game itself feels, looks and sounds great! Also the main character really has some trouble climbing stairs sometimes. The guy just starts crawling :D.
Nice work!
Nice game! I enjoyed it. Got bugged and trapped after a couple of minutes but I understand you were short on time.
Fantastic game, you should really expand it beyond ludum dare and create a full game out of this!
music and mood was cool. short cinematics with opening doors were nice as well.
It's fun, but lacking in-game controls list/tutorial, and I noticed that enemy pathfinding cant handle moving from one floor to another
Very solid work...especially with a custom engine
how can you download SGRX engine.
Have you created an entirely game engine for the jam? Wow, amazing!! I liked the graphics a lot! You've made a great job here! Congratulations! :D

Nice little game !
