@antsa during the development of the game I seriously risked to have my organ sold on the deep web by my cat...she loves tip-tapping on my keyboard too! XD
This is weird and adorable. The animations are great. I couldn't figure out how to score at the carpet minigame though.
I really enjoyed your game! The cats are so cute and the animations are hilarious. I also really enjoyed the sound effects ("owww nowww"). It also matches very well with the theme. Good job!

@zarkonnen thank you so much! These makes me happy because it's the first time I try something as anmating all those cats! You are right! The puke game instructions are not very clear. You have to click on the cat to make him vomit , while he is close to the area. The lag is dued to the specifica cat score in precision.

Hey guys thank you playing! It was really hard to compress gameplay in the 3 days of jam... @zarkonnen you have to make the cat puke very close to the target by clicking on him :)
I actually chuckled to myself when I realised what the game was about. This was one of the funniest AND most fun games I've played so far!
I absolutely loved it! The graphics, the sound, the idea of mixing it up with all the little mini-games - awesome :-D It hit all the right mad cat lady spots, great job guys!

First, the art and music is amazing! The game is very funny and original. The mini-games themselves were a bit easy, and I didn't really see a point to the cat-stats (You could just hold mouse on cat-litter to get max score / foot scratch was similarly easy to beat). Game explanations and score screen would have added a nice touch, but weren't sorely missed.
The intro video was amazing, added a lot of context and made the game stand out from a lot of others. Great entry! Hope to see you next time!
An excellent take on the theme, probably the hardest part of this LD :P It looks like there was some kind of blur effect when the camera moved sometimes. How do you do that in Unity?
@scott-steffes thank you! You are right, the theme was just impossible XD. The motion blur effect is actually made in aftereffects, but If I had mo make it inside unity 2d, in this case I would have probably used a quick camera movement on a sprite that was already treated with a motion blur effect in its central part.
@furtive-pygmy Yeah, the idea is indeed to have cats performing **very** differently based on stats; I think you can see a real difference with an _Agility 1_ cat in the scratch game, and in the Carpet Fun one. I will fix and do a little balancing on them later in the week!
@fanu yeah, just checked it out. Looks like the 1 agi cats are gimped. With a bit more time I'm sure it will be even better than it currently is :)
The face of that cat on the first picture is already a 5/5 in humor.
In all seriousness, very fun game, the minigames were a bit of a weak point, being too easy, but I had a great time! Made me realize how badly I want a WarioWare game where all the minigames are cats being buttholes.
@chameleon Let's say I was *mildly* inspired by WarioWare... Let's hope we get a new one soon! Have you tried [Rhythm Tengoku: The Best Plus](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhythm_Heaven_Megamix) yet?
@fanu Not yet! Though I learned the hard way with Crypt of the Necrodancer I have no sense of rhythm, so I'm a bit less enthusiastic playing the Rhythm Heaven franchise now.

Methinks your game might be a little bugged? I could never get past owning 1 cat. After I finish the first mini game, I'm not able to click on any other cats to recruit them. :(
Regardless, I closed and opened the game a bunch to make sure I saw all of the minigames. :) I love the art style here, and the games remind me a lot of WarioWare-style micro games. Wish they were a bit challenging, but I imagine time was tight just to get this in. Well done, either way!

Well Done Zoltan! I enjoyed playing through this. A lot of creativity, keeping it interesting for the entire playthrough. The graphics were cute and the silly story made me smile. It wasn't clear to me if the stats of an individual cat made a game easier or harder, but I had fun even if I didn't understand all the mechanics. Good entry :smiley_cat:
@boxedmeatrevolution thanks for playing! Yes, The stats of the cat have effects on the different games, for instance you need speed for the scratch game and precision for the carpet one :)

Pretty fun and funny. My favorite is the cat pose whilst you are examining their skill traits. There is some nice UI work here. Easy to follow instructions.

The puking and evil internet usage mechanics wasn't exactly intuitive, but still fun. Overall great entry I've had a good time with it. Also the music in the city scene is awesome.

Oh yeah, cool idea and fun realisation. Although, some minigames needed a little tutorial at the beginning, especially 'Carpet fun'. Anyway, great job!
Had a lot of fun with this. Loved the kitties plus all the minigames were varied and interesting. Also loved the music, very catchy.
I can't get the hang of Carpet fun though. I seem to puke exactly where it tells me to but it still tells me I'm doing it wrong.
That was a really creative entry. I loved the idea behind the mini-games and the funny intro. Impressive how you guys created all the art/music/etc. in 3 days!
I felt that the controls were a bit laggy and unclear. I had a hard time figuring out how to continue past the minigame selector the first time around, for example.
Overall I think it's a solid and funny game. Good work!
@limejuice123 Yeah, the idea is that you have to puke before the cat stops, obviously only I know that as I wrote the code for that!
@spotted-metal You're right about the unclearness of the minigame selector, the white box @tommyflower put on the selector clearly invites you to click there but it does nothing :x: I'll just add some behaviour to that zone because a lot of people tries to click in that region. Do the lagginess you refer to also apply to the minigames? We'd love some feedback!

Interesting game! I liked the minigames (especially as a cat owner myself). The overworld looked like there would be some hidden mechanics, but I guess throwing cats to hell is the only thing to do there. The minigames seemed to work ok most of the time, but with some of the cats (I guess depending on the stats) it was impossible to win the games. Was that a game design decision or a balancing issue? The art was good in general but there were some inconsistencies throughout the art quality and cohesion. The audio and music was rather cool, espacially the cat sounds. All in all a very solid entry with some design flaws (I think). Keep up the good work!
Thank you @duke for the detailed review! Yes, it was intentional not letting you beat some games with the wrong cat, so that you have to look at the stats and pick the right one. You are right about the art, I'm a programmer and quite new at it. I'm aware that the city, for instance, looks a bit different from the rest (don't know if this is what you were thinking of). I'm experimenting with techniques. As for the cat sounds, living with mine thought me how to imitate her XD. Thank you for playing!

Such fun storytelling! Zoltan is a true hero. I thought the art, animation, music, and *most especially* cat sounds were all super charming. The simplicity of the mini-games limited the challenge to figuring out which abilities mattered where. I was nonetheless delighted the whole time!

Disturbingly Satisfying! Great art and audio, I love the cat theme. It's always a challenge building mini games into a Ludum Dare submission, but I think it worked out pretty well. They could be frustrating sometimes but I imagine that was by design. Overall, solid entry! (That cat puking audio is going to haunt me...)
@ruddiculous thank you for playing! Yes, with some unskilled cats you can't beat some games. It's the second time we end up developing minigames, it was easier to split programming work, but you need so many assets :). Just watched your timelapse footage. Looks like you had a lot of fun!

Good fun, and a great take on the theme.
Some things were a little fiddly - ie, if a cat was too close to the opening to hell when I clicked it to see it's attributes, it'd accidentally get dropped in there whether I wanted it or not. But didn't take away from the fun! The different mini-games, and the fact that there was a chance to try each one more than once, worked really well. Good job!

Quite funny! like how you actually change the sprites based on which cat you choose, the stats are quite interresting too. What you have made is a game consisting of many smaller games. Well done!
