My Life is Not Currency by rjhelms 2019-05-17T18:10:53Z
I had good fun playing this. Don't know why, but I've always liked the Quaker Oats guy.

Beautiful game! The soundtrack is simply genius! I loved it, and I loved the crispy graphics and animation, the clear interface and the general concept. Very well crafted!! Please let us download the music!
I'm happy I spent time with your kitty. Mine inspired for my game and I know what it means. I'm always curious about this kind of interactive adventures and I think it had its value what you have done. I traded minutes of my life to gain understanding of your bond with her. And it was a fair exchange.
A good game, actually. I am not a fan of the keyboard+mouse interface because I find it difficult to control using a standard laptop trackpad, honestly, but it may be a minor issue since lot of people doen't have anything against it...
Nice classic puzzle with a cute-yet-deadly cats. Music makes me think about the rhodes-played SimCity 2000 theme, well done.
A really nice game in my opinion. Graphics is stunning and I love the central-europeanish english of the main character (cartacter?). I'm also amazed about how you manage to match the super-classic agility platform game in a very strict narrative frame. Hats off!
Took me two times to understand how to use it but after this I think it's a brilliant original concept. Would have loved a bit more context and explanations but I understand that the time was short. Very well crafted graphics and environment!
I really like the idea and the gameplay is flawless. Music is nice to hear, too. I would suggest some graphic refining. I needed a couple of game to understand why there were walls in the streets (cars are the same color than the street itself), but nevertheless I enjoyed play this game.
An interesting game indeed. A new - for me at least - kind of text adventure, quite far from the classic "You Choose Your Adventure" mechanic. Music fits the mood perfectly even though I would have liked a few more variety.
Well done!!!
Love this cat game!(we had a similar idea!)^_^ I had some problem overcoming the plant pot but I loved the graphics, animating cats is tricky,I know :) You had the time to add menu and clear instructions and this is definitely a plus, since it's hard to find them in many submissions. Well done!!
This game is amazing! I love tower defenses :) and this is so well crafted! The graphics is so cute, I loved the intro sequence, every detail is so on point. Very well done!!
Well done! Concept and context are really original (never heard of any game based on the anarcho-socialist trade unions in early '900 before) and the gameplay is smooth and enjoyable. I liked the mix between the classic "talk-with-people adventure" and a more active gameplay in the factory (even if, due to the nature of the siderurgical work, it is quite repetitive). Liked also the retro pixel graphic that sicks quite well with the story.
To be honest I'm not a huge fan of those shop-simulation game, but I've seen plenty of 'em during the flash games era (Fast Food simulators, Coiffeaur simulators, Waiter simulators...) This one may fall in the same category. Having to do some really simple math to give customer the change adds a slightly educational nuance if the game is played by young kids and this is a plus.
It is quite hard to play, however, since coins are not following the mouse very well, unfortunately.
I like your role swap, you have been really brave!
This game throws my memory back to the good old game boy days when I used to play with some addicting yet frustrating platform game spending several whole afternoons just to make my 10-pixel character jump on an higher platform and being killed a second after by some noisy odd.
Level restart SFX is perfect and i find also the physics better than many platform games you can play online/download from app stores. I didn't feel the need for a more complicated artwork, and that means the gameplay is absorbing me 100%...
Really funny game. I fell in love with those bouncing sheeps since the very first moment. Music is relaxing and perfectly fits the global mood. I'm one of the ones who prefer arrows to WASD, but it is really a minor issue! My only problem is that i keep hit E instead of W, throwing my sheeps everywere (and losing time to laugh at their bouncing behaviour).
Interesting game! Graphic and "dialogues" reminds me some 90's adventure ("does church approve?" is 100% Lucasgames stuff, well done!) while the gameplay is more like a management game. I also love the cyberpunkish sprawly scenario.
Drawbacks: gameplay is quite repetitive and slow. More odds and chances would add some fun to the game. A little music or more SFX variety would also help not to be bored during the gameplay.
Loved the artwork and the SFX (pitched voices made me laugh loud). Actually the music is quite low in the mix (even with headset and volume 100%) but the moog sound is always a good choice!
I laughed so hard with the intro! Great idea! I love that the characters look like they are skating, so smooth! Would have loved a closer view. Good job!
What a good game! Day part is really relaxing and funny, but the night one... One feels really helpless and alone staing in the bushes hoping not to be found by a wolf.
I really liked the gameplay. And the poop sound makes me laugh everytime, like I'm 8 year old!
It took me a couple of tries to understand how the game works, to be honest. Once understood, by the way, the game was enjoyable. Quite classic mechanic but with a nice touch given by Aztec mythology. A little music/sfx would add something in my humble opinion.
Hi, I fear there is a good reason why you have no feedbacks...

I had issues fighting against desertification (water is way rare and those stupid herbivores keep eat all my grass), but i ended my cards having circa 40.5k points.
The intro was super weird and fascinating. I loved also the way the actual game runs in a vertical notepad page. The way the "character" moves added a spice. It was quite difficult to manage to go where I wanted to, but this made the game more interesting.
Looking at the mask, I can hypothesize it was some kind of cheap souvenir/craftmanship inspired to some neoroman-baroque sculpture. The label is unreadable but i'm sure it is not in Italian, 2 words enting in "n" in the same sentence would be almost impossible in Italian.
Nice game! I had a good time playing it. Nice concept, graphics and audio.
As a drummer, I have to agree with @fireslash. I lost two times while trying to be on beat, then I find out I better be counter-time. It was an actual meditation exercise for me.

Thank you all! For this game I had two main goals. One was give the listener the "taiko feel" having almost no knowledge about "taiko grammar". Glad you felt the music coherent with the aesthetic/graphics. The second was induce in the player some sort of frenzy without becoming too distressing. Hope I succeeded...
@kessutinnu
To be honest, I tried to jump on the trampoline myself... :-)
@zoglu thank you!
For the big objects: while being near to them you can hit ctrl and the Raccoon will start pushing it (to push you have to move Mr. Raccoon in the direction of the object).
@0x53ee71ebe11e, @balance686, @greon Thank you all!
@ausstein You make me blush. Thank you very much!
I needed three tries to figure out what i was supposed to do, but then the game have been funny. I loved the voice acting.
Also, html5 version crashed while trying to play "easy". I had to play normal.
Amazing music and script! Congrats!
Those stupid cat can't catch the rat. Like they do in real life. That's why I love them both here and there :-)
I really enjoyed the graphics and the gameplay. I would loved to hear some music, also.
First time I see a videogame using tinder-like interactions. This is quite contemporary, well done!
I loved the uhiuhiuhiuhiuhi sound while rushing
I felt back in early '90. I almost heard my mother calling me for lunch.
Interesting game with an important message at the end. Just like @despdair I have been a little disoriented by the control switch from mouse to keyboard arrows.
Spirit section has a nice graphic. Body section is nice too but a little less consistent.
Gameplay is quite basic for now but I see possibilities for an extended version :-)
Liked character design very much. Will wait for the mistery to continue...
Whoa, that's an hard subject. I really felt all that "piss off jerk" I got. I choose not to vote for "humor" cause there is no humor but you did an amazing job. Graphics have kinda lucasart feeling. Gameplay is quite basic but it's hard to get a decent amout of money by those unsensitive yuppies! Probably you can further develop the gameplay by adding options ("show children pictures", "wash cars for money") to vary the game.
