I am so sorry for killing Toxo

synedraacus 2019-04-28 15:16

It's either a work of genius or utter bullshit, and I can't decide which.

superpokeunicorn 2019-04-29 08:50

Cute cat <3

jk5000 2019-04-29 10:55

A bit weird, but also pretty fun. Well done.

I guess life is a game that you can never stop playing ;)

I enjoyed learning facts about your cat, but some more reward than that would have been great, like if instead of just holding the mouse button you had to continually stroke her, and that made her purr.

deathbysnail 2019-04-29 18:42

I didn't realize I had to "hold" the button down. I love Toxo!

annie-owl 2019-04-30 16:01

Lucky you! My cat gets angry if i touch her belly.

boaheck-artgent 2019-04-30 17:36

Aww this was clever. I made it 2 minutes in. It would have been nice to say "hold the left mouse button" instead of "press the left mouse button" as the later lead to me single clicking and having to refresh the page in confusion 3 or 4 times at first.

I'm happy I spent time with your kitty. Mine inspired for my game and I know what it means. I'm always curious about this kind of interactive adventures and I think it had its value what you have done. I traded minutes of my life to gain understanding of your bond with her. And it was a fair exchange.

hare-software 2019-05-01 10:44

I at first did not understand I had to hold the mouse, but after that it was fine. It is not a very large game, but it was still good to play it. Recommended for all cat lovers.

bluwind360 2019-05-01 10:44

I must say that I feel cheated . It said press the left mouse button, I did. I then blinked and it said I killed the cat; didn’t get the “don’t let go” message till after I let go

yvanor 2019-05-01 10:48

It was a nice experience :)

daitse 2019-05-01 11:06

Interesting concept, you feel the need to play along and go to the end of the story.

msalison 2019-05-01 11:44

cat.png I was like stuck in this screen so I stopped hold the mouse. I've had the final screen I think. It was a bit harsh to understand at the beginning but it's a pretty good idea ! It's a match with the theme.

19 secs in my first run. As an idle game enthusiast I am embarrassed by my inability to play a true idle game. Forgive me.

I did play it again and held it for a while. I always know when I play a @local-minimum game I'm gonna get a special experience :)

randomphantom 2019-05-06 13:41

I'm a compulsive clicker so I clicked a few times initially when it asked for me to click, so sorry Toxo. Replayed it again for the "true end". The theme also finally "clicked" at the end. Needs some music for more feels, but it is certainly an interesting way of doing an idle clicker.

Always like seeing what you come up with as they are always surprising and different. Liked learning about your cat and thought it made it interesting by keeping you going as long as you could to learn more.

jezzamon 2019-05-12 06:24

I'm sorry...

knarf 2019-05-18 08:55

+1 "I’m sorry…" XD

Weird experience, I killed Toxo twice before I could manage to read it all :) Not the most exciting game that you've made but as long as you're happy with Toxo and with what you wanted to make that's great XD Also I was kinda stuck at the very end of the game, unsure of what would happen if i released the button... Great job creating this feeling :)

I wish I had no issues building minimalistic games, somehow at least to get rid of pressure and make a scoped project =) Cheers Toxo!
