Enjoyed this, was unexpected. Loved the drums, I felt anxious very fast as the items began to pile up.

celsyum 2019-10-08 08:57

a bit too fast pace.

scott-steffes 2019-10-08 09:43

Great music and aesthetic! As the creator of one hoarder game to another, I was entertained to see what a different direction you took the 'hoarding' idea in. Cool gameplay loop. I felt like the hallway was a bit too long, but other than that it was fun!

bcvery1 2019-10-08 09:45

Consider your game tested on Linux, all seems good! The graphics and music were a great combination. I wasn't sure of the win-lose conditions, but liked the overall feel of the gameplay. Good job

philarmon 2019-10-08 09:49

"Racoon" with one "C", lol :) Really love the game art and the story, well done!

graphicedit 2019-10-08 09:59

Yes... Very nice, I liked playing it...

finnthepirate 2019-10-08 10:04

Love the music drums keeps you on the edge, rabbit could wait a little longer for the items

feingehacktes 2019-10-08 11:43

oh god is that stressfull. And this frickin rabbit asks always for the thing at the ery end of the hallway!

Good Job! although the neighbours could wait a little longer

tommyflower 2019-10-08 12:34

@finnthepirate @feingehacktes @celsyum we are aware that the rabbit is a bit too fast (it's a rabbit!)we'll slow it down to make it easier :) Thank you for playing. @hellpug we found fun to be overwhelmed and having to climb all the stuff because after all nothing bad really happens. :) @bcvery1 you don't 'win' you can just survive as long as you can (or see if you can reach the ceiling with your clutter). We'll make this more clear!

slovnoslomo 2019-10-08 12:39

nice entry!

i really like the opening and the way you reveal the theme with your story :)

ladyvardoula 2019-10-08 14:59

It's pretty funny!

inferture 2019-10-08 15:56

The music and aesthetic fit well with one another and it was pretty funny ! ^^ That's an original use of the theme as instead of trying to get away from the state of having nothing, you try to get back to it

I loved it, keep it up !

wansou 2019-10-08 16:24

Not a bad game, altough i glitched out of the map by just having objects under me and jumping on the edge of the map, its a good game tho keep up the good work!

tommyflower 2019-10-08 16:34

@wansou thank you for playing and thank you for the feedback. We'll fix this!

vaibho 2019-10-08 17:42

The story was humorous and nice. The art was awesome. Your game's music makes the player more excited. The concept was nice and the game was really polished. I enjoyed it, keep up the good work.

fanu 2019-10-08 19:08

@wansou I can't say I haven't anticipated this, but thank you for taking the time to hoard objects under your feet to try and flee this high-security simulation/prison!

2019-10-08 20:08

A nice concept that was penalized by bugs. I got the satire of the game and it was a nice touch that stuff kept coming and you had to get organized. However the ctrl pickup didn't work so I had to use the mouse in order to play. This made the controls very clumsy and took away from the experience. I also broke the game when a new package was delivered and i tried to unpack it at the same time 😕

herex 2019-10-08 20:32

I really liked playing it! Really fun concept and the game was awesome and addicting. However I found that as soon as a certain bugged packaged came through the game would halt entirely and nothing would happen in that game again and I have to restart. Overall really good, just that one bug :). (bugged package below) BuggedPackage.png

fanu 2019-10-08 20:34

Yeah @Herex thanks, I'm trying to nail it down as it happens from time to time!

Edit: Well... Renaming prefabs in Unity sure has its downsides. photo_2019-10-08_22-41-14.jpg

snufkinshat 2019-10-08 23:13

Hah! This is the second hoarder game I've played in the last hour. Very cute art and game!

bryvox 2019-10-09 03:53

This game is awesome! I can relate to Mr Raccoon  the concept is funny and the art style, music and sound effects are all so good. Great work!

tommyflower 2019-10-09 08:31

@herex thank you! We found it and fixed it :)

mrerdalural 2019-10-09 09:20

Funny concept. I enjoyed the artwork a lot! The game was fun and the theme was there! Cut scenes were awesome! Thank you for making this game! It a lot of fun.

yokuday 2019-10-09 09:22

For me it was a little too short. But this is a very well made game! Good submission!

thecakeflavor 2019-10-09 09:47

Wow! A surprisingly large dictionary of items, and a novel concept. This game really makes you feel like the player character. Sometimes you just receive 3 pianos in a row, and that's a metaphor for life.

kessutinnu 2019-10-09 12:52

I was kind of disappointed when I didn't bounce on the trampoline. I mean I know it would've been absolutely unnecessary extra work for you to implement it, but I still wanted to.

theufo 2019-10-09 13:10

Really cute graphics! Sometimes it's hard to get over through large objects, but gameplay is so fun!

tommyflower 2019-10-09 13:13

(@kessutinnu omg now I want to do that too! :D but I kinda managed to ride the bike. In the next release maybe!

bocodillo 2019-10-09 16:01

Fun game! Really like how it looks and the audio is great. Jumping over my own growing pile of stuff is really fun.

daria-toni 2019-10-09 17:37

Haha, this one is really fun! Exelent cute style and story (poor mr.Racoon!). The music is great and makes you more nervous (which is good in this case). I didn't manage to play it long time, large objects too quickly block the way. But anyway, nice job!

ioleoso 2019-10-09 17:58

@daria-toni @bocodillo @bryvox @vaibho @inferture @finnthepirate @bcvery1 @scott-steffes @hellpug

Thank you all! For this game I had two main goals. One was give the listener the "taiko feel" having almost no knowledge about "taiko grammar". Glad you felt the music coherent with the aesthetic/graphics. The second was induce in the player some sort of frenzy without becoming too distressing. Hope I succeeded...

@kessutinnu

To be honest, I tried to jump on the trampoline myself... :-)

zoglu 2019-10-09 21:52

Nice game! Original take on the theme, very well executed. I just did not understand how I'm supposed to get rid of the bigger objects, apparently there's no way to pull them or jump over them. Anyway, great entry overall !

realitycheck 2019-10-09 22:01

An entertaining game. Got very hectic as stuff started to pile up and no one wanted them. Had a bicycle that I had to jump over every time I went to the door and back.

The drawn artwork was really nice. Too bad the contrasting art style of the objects didn't match the other excellent art. Also noticed a little problems with the transparancy as you can see little borders along the edges of the character sprite.

The idea was great, though, and I thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay. Great work.

coleslaughter 2019-10-10 00:28

That is one adorable raccoon. :)

I really love the aesthetic and music of this one. The absurdity of all of the things that could arrive in the mail was really fun to unpack and discover! I did find myself sometimes stuck when two large object were next to each other, effectively preventing me from pushing them towards wanting customers. Other than that, though, I had a lot of fun trying to manage the space and discovering new things in the mail.

Also thumbs up to the cutscenes  The surprise at the end especially got a chuckle out of me. Nice work!

ioleoso 2019-10-10 07:56

@zoglu thank you!

For the big objects: while being near to them you can hit ctrl and the Raccoon will start pushing it (to push you have to move Mr. Raccoon in the direction of the object).

tommyflower 2019-10-10 09:49

@realitycheck thank you for playing. I also like to ride that bike to get to the object I need :D I'm aware of the difference in style for the objects. The time was very short to draw them all but this is at the first place in the post jam polishing list.

tommyflower 2019-10-10 09:52

@coleslaughter thank you so much for the feedback! I found myself discovering new stategies to play my own game :D big objects are a pain if you don't move them immediately :D

paulsams 2019-10-10 12:54

It was funny and cool). Thanks for such a fun game). I wish you further development)!

torami 2019-10-10 14:05

The graphics are amazing

jk5000 2019-10-10 17:38

A funny and pretty well made little game. For me the game felt to a bit too short. The graphics, sounds and music is all pretty good. Overall a good jam game. Well done.

shieldgenerator7 2019-10-11 08:18

can you remind me to play this game later or put it on itchio so i can add it to my "play later" collection?

tommyflower 2019-10-11 08:37

@shieldgenerator7 the game is already on my itch.io. Thank you! :)

shieldgenerator7 2019-10-11 09:12

@tommyflower oh it is? i didnt see a link to it on your itchio page

tommyflower 2019-10-11 09:41

@shieldgenerator7 you can find it [here](https://tommyflower.itch.io/not-my-hoarder) :)

alicecrd 2019-10-11 12:46

Beautiful graphics and cool game, good job !

ausstein 2019-10-11 16:10

Wow very cute graphics and the best audio I've seen up to this point. Gameplay Idea was cool, but getting repetitive after a little while. Good job overall

0x53ee71ebe11e 2019-10-11 16:23

Well, I know someone who's home looked like this. Pretty fun to play. Also nicely done with the music and drums! Do not try in real life!

balance686 2019-10-11 17:40

Legit made me laugh! Great job on the graphics and audio. The cinematic sequences were also done well. I thought it was a great take on the theme. My only suggestion would be the ability to drag the large items rather than just push. Great job all!

fanu 2019-10-11 18:01

@balance686 that was my plan but I've been shunned!

nsadie 2019-10-11 22:22

That was sick. All round great experience. Well done!

amerigo-gazaway 2019-10-12 05:16

Love the story and the soundtrack. Very polished for a jam game. Great work!

szemi 2019-10-13 02:20

I stuggled with the controls a lot (was very hard to pick up things to move them), but the art and the music were fun, and I enjoyed the concept too!

greon 2019-10-13 05:16

Pretty nice game! i enjoyed it more than i expected, nice artwork and audio, great work!

ferdi 2019-10-13 09:35

Haha so stressful I was totally overwhelmed !! Really nice entry. Good job guys !

awesomealliterationalliance 2019-10-13 14:29

Really nice take on the theme. We loved the intro and ending cutscene. :D The story and the gameplay are original. The art style is cute, funny and very fitting. Good job!

hcursino 2019-10-13 16:37

I got stuck because I couldn't deliver the bicycle D: But dude! What a stressful game, I couldn't stop laughing of how preposterous the situation was, I have so much fun. Amazing job! Very creative.

tommyflower 2019-10-14 09:41

@hcursino :D :D that bicycle is my nightmare! I move it close to the central door as soon as I can ;). Thank you for playing!

ioleoso 2019-10-14 15:52

@0x53ee71ebe11e, @balance686, @greon Thank you all!

@ausstein You make me blush. Thank you very much!

dcrdro 2019-10-15 10:39

Hehe , our games really similar ! ;D Very fun game! Cool music & sounds! And cool idea with friend ;P

eldskald 2019-10-16 02:10

Hahahaha, I loved the concept. I was wandering why do you had a jump button at the start. Boy, did I needed it... The music is amazing, much fitting for the gameplay where you had to rush to do things. You got a solid gameplay here, very simple yet effective and fun, everything a jam submission dreams for.

meta-link 2019-10-16 11:15

Cool game ! I liked the funny atmosphere

Good job !

kaeveris 2019-10-16 17:42

This is really funny! I like the graphics and music a lot! I felt quite a bit anxious having all this clutter around XD

bernardex 2019-10-17 16:54

Nice job guys! I really enjoyed the aesthetic and feeling of the game. Congrats for the dev team!

2019-10-31 09:15

Funny idea. I included it in my Ludum Dare 45 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/oyFtoUSqXW8

tommyflower 2019-11-02 11:22

@jupiter-hadley thank you so much! Will do! :)

tommyflower 2019-11-02 11:51

@jupiter-hadley thank you for playing, too bad you didn't wait enough for the real fun game to start :D maybe it was not clear.
