How do I publish the game.?!??!!
Not sure if it's a bug, but after re-calibrating the alphabet module I typed in the command again and it went back to no power, couldn't proceed from there. It was however a really good laugh up until then, very innovative idea, great job!
On Chrome-Linux clicking "Enter the dungeon" just restarts the game. I'll hold off voting as it wouldn't be fair to vote on it when I can't play. But the music sounds good!
Enjoyable game. Found the controls a little sloppy, as others have mentioned. Game about cats is always a win, good job.
Consider your game tested on Linux, all seems good! The graphics and music were a great combination. I wasn't sure of the win-lose conditions, but liked the overall feel of the gameplay. Good job
Very innovative, good job
The art style was very pleasing on this one, quite puzzle-like which was good. Good job!
Love the idea, very innovative. Not sure about the voting on every element part. Overall fun. Good job
Overall an enjoyable game to play. The music was relaxing and the graphics/animation charming. I do think it's quite easy to lose flags on the map, and I wasn't 100% on how to perform the sacrifices which somewhat stunted my progress a little. Good job
Great music and great graphics. A nice puzzle game is always a good thing!
Never thought I'd be attacking evil red pills with an axe-wielding tic-tac! Quite fun, but the lack of music was noticeable
Nice idea, Fun to mess around in. Quite a lot of trial and error, which made the transition back to construction mode feel quite long after a while. Is it that I didn't get very far, or is that this game give you everything to start with? Overall, really interesting concept, good job
The graphics are very fun programmer art! There seems to be a bug that coops cost nothing; once I got over 20 (dollars?) I bought 50 coops, couldn't see them anywhere, I don't know if they're supposed to show or not. With a little more content this would be a very fun little game, good job
Unfortunately the game crashed (web version, using Chrome-Linux) when I went to go in the open door in Huntingdon. It was unfortunate because I really liked the mood set by this game. I don't know if the lack of music was intentional, but it added to the spookiness. Good job
Graphics are nice and clean, and the abilities are a innovative combination, especially the 'ghost' ability. I thought the difficulty was quite high at the very beginning, maybe it could have been a more gentle introduction (easier jumps for example). Overall, good job
Lovely graphics, glowy-wobble man is clearly one of the best main characters in any of the games I've played so far! The jump did feel a little floaty, but overall a fun little game. Good job
What a great idea, it's like a wordsearch reimagined! I found this very difficult as I'm colourblind, but cannot hold that against the game! Good job
Looks nice, and I like the music, but I have no idea what the controls are or what I'm supposed to be doing. Shame, as others seem to have enjoyed it
This game made me laugh at the jokes, great work. The graphics are not bad at all and I don't think it's a bad thing that it's quite short, what's there is good quality. Great job!
That's some great programmer's graphics! Good job, the music was very fitting
Really liked the graphics and the music, good job!
The graphics look really nice, the 8 bit matches the simplicity of the overall game very well. The music is relaxing which seems to fit the mood of the game.
This was a good laugh, and nice twist on the classic tower-defence, good job!
Graphics look really nice; and a banana is a very amusing character to play as! Not sure if it's me, but couldn't find where to go: - Right, the only root I could see was the water which killed me, and I couldn't go back because a wall came up next to the saw - Left, I seemed only to fall into spikes, or land on a platform from which I could jump onto spikes.
The bit of the game I could play felt responsive and easy to control. Good job
Very fun and arcade-like. I did find it a little disorienting to not know if I were moving due to the static background. But overall a nice experience, didn't think I'd be fighting early universes with a sword today! Good job!
I felt the character was quite slow, and the controls a little wonky; the inverted camera controls were particularly difficult to use, maybe a camera the followed the player would have been better. Cute robot though
Couldn't get the Linux version to work https://pastebin.com/t3vEvXQK :(
Great game, really enjoyed this idea.
The frog is hilarious, and the character models add to it amazingly. I did enjoy the music, but couldn't really get anywhere playing the game: I couldn't find the factory. Frog said East, I walked left, but it reset me on the right.
First time playing I went to bed before the frog had stopped talking, and that cut him off, which was a shame.
Really nice idea! Good game
Really nice idea, great execution. I couldn't see a score, so I guess it was technically cheating to intentionally destroy all but one of my letters so I less to dodge! :)
This definitely made me smile, great job!
Good fun. I found the key quite difficult to match up to the grid (colourblind), so maybe tooltips would have improved that? Awesome job though!
Really enjoyed that. Little difficult at times to know which platforms I could get onto, and which I couldn't, but a really easy to get into game. Loved the music
Really liked the audio effects, may have been a little slow paced
Really good fun, the concept is great and the animations are brilliant. Wasn't keen on the responsiveness of the attacks, they seemed to queue up and he'd be punching for a second or two after I'd stopped pressing j; maybe I just shouldn't have been hammering the button! Good job
Really cool, well done on the theme combo! Had good fun with this
Very interesting idea, I liked the chattering noises from the people
Pleased to say your Linux build runs without issue. What a relaxing game! Really enjoyable
Found it a little difficult to see which colour I had selected, other than that, great
Second LD
@temmy Thanks :)! Probably the coding, and working out patterns which work well with the library (https://github.com/faiface/pixel).
Yeah, I wish I had more time and I would have put in a guide/basic tutorial
@mathiouza Thanks for the feedback. I did mean 'farming sim' - that's what basically no sleep will do! I'll correct the description, thanks again
@gamedevbynight Thanks for playing! It definitely needed balancing as it is a bit too difficult to keep them alive. There isn't sound unfortunately, I didn't get round to it, and forgot to opt out
Great concept! Found it difficult to know which tile was which role, and what elements to combine them
What a combination! Fantastic concept. I agree with previous posts, this is a difficult game, but excellent idea and execution. Maybe different difficulties would have been nice, which controls the speed the game plays at?
Nice idea, and great game. The retro graphics look great, I especially like the 'Booting cartridge'
While the Web build *is* in the rar file, it only runs on Windows. Cannot play on Linux :(
This is really fun, great game.
35.6MB download! Wow! What did you make the game using? You've not made your source code public, the link requests permission to view
Have downloaded now, does keep crashing (here's the error https://pastebin.com/RTqzyLTt). The small amount of the game I've been able to play looks really good. Graphics look fun, and the concept is good.
Nice looking graphics, and really cool game. Good job
This was great fun, the graphic style really pleasing, and the music great too. Excellent job
I like the graphics, but nothing seems to be happening. I went up from the start screen, went to the left and the character disappeared off the screen, same on right; couldn't go up.
Unfortunately your Linux build is not working, seems to be missing a data folder; here is the error: https://pastebin.com/J9CdA1LC
Nice simple game, good job
Really nice game, graphics looked great. Couldn't get the web build to work (Chrome), but the Linux binary ran just fine
Your download is for Windows, MacOS and Linux, but there is only a Windows binary in the rar. Are you able to add the Linux binary?
Loved the player model, really nice idea too
This was nice, and well paced for a game with cards - often having cards will slow the game to a crawl, but not here. Well done
Nice game, great combination of genres. Found it very difficult to move relative to the mouse, was expecting relative to the grid. Good job
Interesting idea, I think I would have preferred it to have a top down building stage, then a FP shooting stage. Was good though
Nice idea, good job
Loved the graphics and the sound effects. Were the rows supposed to wrap from right row 1 to left row 2 (for example)? Neat game, fun
Good job, especially with the concept and music!
Name and idea are great. Rules are a little complicated at first, but overall good fun
Have tested the Linux version, works absolutely fine (although debug lines spamming out into terminal I ran it from). Nice concept and great music
Really fun, difficult, but fun.
I think I would have found it easier if what I was doing with the mouse was on the right, like my mouse; but that only applies because I'm right-handed.
Couldn't get the love file running on Linux
You have the download marked as Windows, but runs fine on Linux! :)
I agree enemies are a bit fast, nonetheless, good job
Nice idea, the rod did feel a bit sensitive, and often would get stuck and wouldn't move in one direction. I did like the look of the game
Nice little game, graphics were very pleasing. Have you come across 'pyinstaller', I've used it in the past to create binaries of python projects. Can compile on all Windows, MacOS and Linux. I had no problems just running the source from CL though! Good job
It's a shame this is only on Windows, doesn't godot cross compile? (I'm on Linux)
Really quite funny, good job
This style *works*! Had a flashback to playing Dwarf Fortress. Loved the little messages from the enemies, good job
Great idea. After the tutorial I made the character go left, and he fell off the screen - Linux using Google Chrome.
Unfortunately Linux build shows error "Error: Could not load game path '.'"
Unfortunately I wasn't able to play this on Linux, here is the error: https://pastebin.com/4YH0raUn
Will not launch on Linux, same error as @gemberkoekje
Very interesting concept, and it's a good start. Would have liked to be able to rotate buildings, and a bit of sound, but well done
Good game, loved the retro look. Very difficult, but quite fun
Good job
