I liked the idea, but it's a bit too clunky for me, attacking felt incredibly ineffective and every room had me circle strafing for a couple of minutes to be able to get the enemies down, sorry but I think the difficulty may be too high.

@gabriele Thanks for the feedback! I can agree that the combat isn't that good, I wish I could have made it better. But something I forgot to mention (my bad) is that as you collect duplicates of weapons they become more powerful. The intention is that you try and avoid enemies until you feel powerful enough to properly fight them. I think the game ends up being a lot easier when played this way.

Thanks for checking out the game!

Animations were so good (specially room switching animation), i think this game have some potential for the store but obviously it needs more more polish for that.

Gameplay little slow i think and enemies are hard to kill with the low damage weapons.

Sometimes i had hard time to realize there is door in a room, i guess the camera's border was overlapping with the door so it was hard for me to understand that there is a door to other room.

Other than that as i said it has some potential for some market, good entry!

Oh, forgot to mention, sound effects weren't that good, my ears were hurting while playing.

The enemies are a bit too hard to kill. Would like to see them start off a little easier then progress to more difficult. Nice work as 3d games are difficult to make in such a short time!

Never thought I'd be attacking evil red pills with an axe-wielding tic-tac! Quite fun, but the lack of music was noticeable

Very solid entry! Thank you for the linux port. I understand the compo schedule is tight, but most devs don't bother. As others have said, combat felt a bit slow at first, but start leveling up your weapons it becomes much more satisfying, so it fits the theme. I see huge potential.

Great basis for a game, I especially like how the camera works. It's nice to see that you also made sure that the controls are always relative to the camera. More landmarks would be nice, maybe some spooky dungeon furniture scattered around (or really anything you want)?
