Zeus Needs Omelettes by rjhelms 2018-12-16T17:21:17Z
Fun gameplay, good audio, funny graphics, and an interesting concept. Each egg that you sacrifice could be worth more, Zeus is hard to manage.

Great game! Good graphics and audio for a compo game. It's a little hard to understand at first, but fun to play once you get the hang of it.
It gave a nice challenge, and I never managed to get more than 15 points. It fit the theme well but could have used a few more sacrifice options and/or aiming with the mouse.
The gameplay and combat especially was very fun, but I didn't feel like there was anything I was giving up when I sacrificed a villager.
The graphics, sound and gameplay are all great and it was fun to play. Clearer hitboxes would be good, but in this current state they don't impact the gameplay too much.
Fun game, I love both the art and the gameplay. My only issue with it is that a couple of times earlier in the game I was confused, for example I didn't realize the robots could double jump at first, and it took me a while to figure out what things were walls and what weren't.
Really nice and short game-probably the best way to go for compo. It's just the right combination of strategy and luck, and even when it's left to luck, it was the player's fault. I think that the UI could potentially be simplified, perhaps taking out the instructions after a couple games, fading out number buttons like slovnoslomo suggested, and making the restart button more subtle?
I enjoyed the art and audio styles here, and the UI was nice and intuitive. The later levels were fun, especially the fifth one, but I felt like the earlier levels were a bit too easy. Perhaps you would benefit from zooming out a bit and making the levels themselves bigger?
I love all of the visuals of this game, especially the blobs themselves. The tilted camera works perfectly here, and makes a nice mood when paired with the lighting and music. Even the blobs that spawn on the walls next to the side of the screen add to the mood. I would love to see this when/if it has more content.
Going into it I though it would be harder because I wouldn't know which synonym to use, but you managed to make it easy enough to be possible and fun (even though I only managed ~12). Good work!
Neat ideas and a fun game! I like the molecule theme (especially how the character builds up) and the slow additions of ui and such. I would've loved if you started with even less-perhaps even a blank screen, and even the player would have to be added after a few seconds.
Great basis for a game, I especially like how the camera works. It's nice to see that you also made sure that the controls are always relative to the camera. More landmarks would be nice, maybe some spooky dungeon furniture scattered around (or really anything you want)?
Fun game with nice art. I especially like when you're controlling multiple people at once. It might be able to use some harder difficulties; it might also be neat if you could pick up pitchforks from dead bodies.
It's surprisingly difficult and fun to juggle several plants at once. Sadly, I wasn't able to make it far because of the same bug that Nakami mentioned
Really fun game! I enjoyed the variety in the enemy movement and size, and would like to see more of that. At first I didn't realize I could jump multiple times, so I had to go to either end of the level to get back onto the platforms, but then I realized you could double jump and that issue was solved. I also love how the money pops out of enemies and creates huge piles with actual height, instead of just weird puddles like most games. At first I was a bit confused about what the giant maroon bars were, I thought they dealt damage to me but they don't seem to?
Really, really interesting concept, but it's buggy in its current state
Great game, I'm sad that I didn't get to play more. I loved the control panel itself and how you interact with it, especially the screen. The actual graphics on the inside of the submarine(?) could use some more mood, and it could also use some camera-shaking effects.
I know this isn't the best place to post this, but I believe you misunderstood my game. I would greatly appreciate it if you read the description and tried to play it again, this time starting with some more knowledge.

Fun ideas. I enjoy how you worked in the theme, and how the graphics and sound game in slowly. This might just be me, but I felt like it was hard to think about the puzzles when I can't see everything at once.
