Nicely implemented, felt very smooth and i found myself limited by only having 2 bounces :D whats you theme connection though?

raffe 2018-04-23 03:17

Cool concept, and the game feels very smooth! Very nice game!

rohan 2018-04-23 03:18

Its A Puzzle - Shooter

krp 2018-04-23 03:22

I wish the game was longer.

caldwellysr 2018-04-23 13:09

Make a web build! This looks like fun but not all of us are on windows :sob:

pheonise 2018-04-23 13:11

Interesting idea! A little tricky with the moving targets, but some good challenges!

rohan 2018-04-23 13:17

@Cryovr Its a Puzzle - Shooter

rohan 2018-04-23 13:52

@CaldwellYSR Hey Sorry about that i have updated the post Mac Build has been added(Build not tested) Hope you like the Game :)

shimapleleaf 2018-04-23 14:23

I love it. Had a lot of fun playing this. Wish it were longer though. Oh well, you can only make so many level in 48 hours. Would love to see a full version!

caldwellysr 2018-04-23 14:49

@Rohan I think the itch.io page isn't published because it 404'd for me.

dimaswift 2018-04-23 14:56

Cool looking game! Well designed levels too, pretty challenging. Although I felt like bullet bounce amount was not consistent somehow

rohan 2018-04-23 15:13

@CaldwellYSR Sorry again i forgot to make it public its now playable, Using itch.io first time.

I really like shadow effect behind the main character. It's small thing, but do its work :)

caldwellysr 2018-04-23 16:26

That's awesome! Easily my favorite game so far. My only criticism is that I would make the shadows a little transparent if you can. They look a touch odd.

rohan 2018-04-23 16:29

@CaldwellYSR Sure would like to improve on that. Thanks for the feedback :)

rohan 2018-04-23 16:31

@dimaswift Do you mean like the bullets were not bouncing in proper direction??, or the bounce was a slow?

bryan-coen 2018-04-23 16:56

Great work on your game! Really like the way it plays and the difficulty seems about right. Good job using your time wisely and making something that functions well.

bcvery1 2018-04-23 17:16

Nice idea, good job

adroitconceptions 2018-04-23 17:52

the physics puzzles were fun!

onnofal 2018-04-23 18:10

Surprising you cannot shoot yourself by accident. I suggest it, if difficulty not high enough :) Actually it is pretty difficult sometimes. Anyway it is fun and neat game!

dimaswift 2018-04-23 18:56

@rohan I mean I felt like sometimes bullets can bounce twice and disappear, and sometimes it's more than that. But I might be wrong here

noa-calice 2018-04-24 11:54

That was a great LD entry :) ! Satisfying sound effects, nice pixel art and interesting gameplay that fits nicely with the theme !

honey 2018-04-24 15:35

Great one, only thing that really bothers me on this game is there aren't more levels! Good work!

rha 2018-04-24 16:12

Pretty original! It gets difficult fast, but that may just be me being bad at it haha. It's funny how you can bounce the bullet off of yourself, kind of strange but it could be used for unconventional puzzle solving.

mowztouch 2018-04-24 16:36

Nice entry, no bugs, cool music, well done :)

ayushman 2018-04-28 06:18

Nice puzzle shooter Loved to play the game.... It can be expanded to make it a better one

elfcirynn 2018-04-28 17:04

Wish the genres being mashed up had been more clear, would have been nice to see some custom UI, but awesome job at having a complete game to submit for the compo!

tim-ruswick 2018-05-05 01:00

Cool little puzzle game. I like it!

philstrahl 2018-05-08 18:04

Hey Rohan! Interesting concept with limiting the number of bounces, reminded me a little bit of [ULTROID](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/ultroid) and [Puzzle Golf](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/puzzle-golf). Also, the moving platforms and the switches were a nice touch. For later levels (should you want to keep working on it) you could introduce additional enemies that move around like the platforms or have a different kind of bullets (e.g., ballistic bullets that are affected by gravity). Just an idea.

What I was missing was some background to be able to use as a reference when lining up my shots, just anything that's not a solid color.

Oh and I included your game in my final series of playing LD41 games: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/puzzle-golf
