Nice idea and thanks so much for having a web deployment! Would have been really slick to animate the path as it grows. When I won it actually suprised me :P

I like how the enemies don't do damage, but just push you, which is even worse! Good job
I don't know what happened but I got up to 150 ammo without running into a single enemy. Amazing rendering for the C64 effect and an awesome idea regardless.
Nice work! A really cool idea, I love how the balls become your enemy, as well as your path to winning. Pretty hard to manage the shooting in 8 directions. Would have liked to see a score come up, or a timer.
A really great idea and very unique!
I love those fantasy computers like pico-8 and tic-80 maybe next compo I'll learn too.
I loved it. The intro was so funny. I love typing tutor games. Amazing job!
Awesome work. I played for about 40 seconds before I realized I could move :P An interesting idea that was fun but I didn't like the controls.
Seems like the ship has 0 mass? So it feels quite floaty. I was always bouncing between towers making it hard to place them.
I saw what you were trying with this combo but the beauty of TD games comes from the variety of strategies and breaks between waves, and the beauty of shmups comes from the enemy patterns and interesting bosses. Best parts of both genres were missing in this game so I didn't find it fun.
Well done for completing a game though it's a serious achievement for only 2 days of work.
Hey @tipyx Amazing work on your golf x stealth game! It's crazy how we followed the same theme, but our games ended up so different! You can try out Putt-Kill here https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/putt-kill
I really liked your art style and the hamster is funny. It's hard with the power bar style control, because of the waiting. When you know you're about to be discovered, it's difficult to make a snap decision to escape when you have to wait the .5 second for the power bar to charge.
Awesome work, how can I stay in touch for the rest of the development? Are you turning this into a full game?
Interesting concept with kind of working mechanics but the controls make it hard to enjoy. Love the zelda 1 style graphics. Good difficulty as well. A suggestion: have each level introduce a new controllable character, so the player's not overwhelmed with learning right at the start, it's a lot to take in for the first level.
Cool idea! Hard to do without the enemy paths being drawn in the 'pause' mode. Not sure if there's a move limit but sometimes I was pushed back to the start after a move completed without knowing why.
Interesting idea but hard to tell if there is AI involved or I'm supposed to ask a friend to play. Adding a ball graphic would make it more obvious who has it.
Beautiful artwork! But I'm not a fan of the open ended style of writing short sentances and slow pace. I can respect the effort put into a challenge like this topic but I can't say I had fun. Amazing work though.
Nice work but found it very hard to navigate around the sharks.
Really interesting and fleshed out. My ears hurt after hearing the suspicion noise too loud. A little hard to learn.
Web hosted +1
Concept was funny initially. Mechanics worked and I was able to finish. I could see the concept working but without some more assets and progression beyond 1 level it's hard to see the fun.
Well done on finishing something in 2 days!
Impressive you were able to get the AI to work and be a bit tricky to beat! A simple concept excecuted well
I have to say I hated the sound effects after 10 seconds and turned off the sound.
Well done!
Hey @literallyjosh The ranking refers to the par for the course, if you're under par for both time AND shots, it's A+ If you're under time OR shots, it's B or C. And if you're over par for both it's D. Yeah I wish I had time for the sound. I mean uumm, it's just so quiet, it's THAT STEALTHY.
Notes for next time :)
@boblova @Fil089 I completely agree the graphics suck :P If I could have opted out of that category I would :) Thanks for the honest feedback!
@willowblade thanks! I had the opportunity to make like 20 levels but ultimately I think 5 proves the concept well enough, and the same enemies after 5 levels is a bit repeditive. Thanks for the follow
@mikedirl Thanks for calling it polished! There is a lot more work to do though :)
I am super impressed that it's all web hosted and loads so quickly! So refreshing after seeing so many .exe games. Looks amazing too! I found it very hard though.
Loved it. They are very much incompatible themes, that's for sure! But you made it work. Very cute graphics and audio.
One of the best ones I've played. Really difficult but well polished! Haven't seen this idea before. I had fun once I go the gist but found it too difficult. Loved the art and the music.
Great opportunity for strong symbology ultimately fell a bit flat after realising I could just identically control both male and female turrets. Great music. Well done!
I like the 3d vs 2d but ultimately it's just a melee platformer with infinite enemies so I found it pretty difficult without much satisfaction. I liked the music and death sounds a lot.
Good effort for a first game! Congrats on finishing and getting something out there :) Without an actual song to go along with, and spectacularly zany graphics, I found it hard to be interested after a minute of playing. Also it seems like there's no "death" scenario so the challenge is missing a bit. With some work this could be a cool idea!
