Very eerie, really liked the atmosphere of the entire thing. I would have liked a small (maybe optional) indicator for which colors I should mix together because sometimes I got completely overwhelmed trying to mix the correct one.
Very atmospheric, very calm and relaxing. One of the few games where I had a sprint button and didn't use it :D
I think my main criticism is the brush mechanic as well. It just feels too smoothed to control it. It also hits the canvas slightly too early so you always end up with a line when you lower it. Those should be easy fixes though.
Well you sure weren't kidding with the seizure warning...
This one is very interesting. The movement is quite nice, the dash is super satisfying to pull off and the soundtrack really makes the game way more intense.
However, as stated before, the visuals are just too much. I got a headache a few minutes in and the entire screen is just very chaotic in general. I was also unable to find any collectibles because everything else on the screen is so noisy. I could see this as a super nice platformer though if you just tone down the flashy effects.
Interesting concept for sure. I quickly learned that just sending the entire swarm after the enemy letters was the strategy with the highest success rate so I just kept doing that. The music is absolutely fantastic and the simple letters on black are a nice artstyle. Good work ^^
I got major Thomas was Alone vibes from the narration, artstyle and music. The story is simple, but nice. Gotta be honest though, the part where he gets mad at me was too hard for me. I tried for like 20 minutes and just couldn't do it ^^
Maybe I'll go back to try to finish it. Super nice idea and a very good take on the theme!
Nice game! Really enjoyed how simple the basic mechanics were and how many different strategies you can still apply. The sound effects are also super nice and the artstyle very much reminds me of Isaac (as other people already mentioned :D )
One issue I have is that my character tends to outrun the camera and that that leads me into enemies quite often. Other than that, solid entry!

Super nice built in tutorial, good difficulty, really cool mechanics and story, the art looks pretty and the soundtrack is very fitting and mysterious.

Really fancy battle mechanic. It was pretty cool to figure out the different attacks and note combinations. The evolving soundtrack was also really nice. Graphics fit the sound as well.
The only criticism I can give is that the camera makes it hard to see the enemies sometimes and tends to clip through geometry. Other than that, really nice work!

Well this was interesting. The sounds are really fitting and the visuals are simple and work. The upgrade system is nice but I felt like I became way too powerful way too fast, by level three there was barely any challenge left. You can also pick up two upgrades if you get to the second one fast enough 😄
I was super impressed with how intuitive this game is, how well everything works, how much fun it is to build a city and how nice and clean it looks. Then I saw that this is a compo entry and I don't even know what to say.

As you said, there isn't really a lot to do here. The artstyle is really nice though and building shapes out of your land is oddly fun.
Really nice! I like how you introduce the different mechanics through puzzles and how they all work together. The background art was also super pretty. The only thing I can critizise is that there are no check points (as far as I can tell) and that I had to restart from the beginning after making good progress. Other than that, solid work!
Interesting take on the theme. I got into the game pretty quickly and the battle texts are amazing. The grinding got repetitive though so you could lower the costs of the items or make the enemies drop more gold.

I really like the overall presentation of this one. Really nice art and music, the gameplay is intuitive and you interpreted the theme really well. If I had to criticise something it would be that the player's movement speed might be a little too low, but that would be nitpicking. Really nice entry!

Nice little management game. I really like the UI, it's very intuitive. I somehow managed to get a huge amount of gold and the game became quite hectic after I got a few slaves, but it's really enjoyable. Good job ^-^
This was a pretty amazing game. Beautiful artstyle and perfect developer art, the voice acting was top notch and it only took me 20 attempts to beat. 12/10 would recommend!

The gameplay itself is really nice. The controls are a bit weird but are okay once you get used to them. One time I got insta killed by a crate though, that felt a bit unfair ^^

Really liked the graphics in this one! Lack of audio is sad but it's always hard to do sound effects in a compo game. Minor complaint would be that the camera smooths too much and you can't really see what's ahead of you but that's not a problem most of the time.
Super fun game when played on twitch. I was sacrificed but it was still amazing to see what chat can come up with on the fly. 10/10 would play if I had a twitch community
This is definitely the most fun game I've played this jam. Super cool graphics and music, solid gameplay and an amazing experience overall. As already mentioned, you can run out of ammo even if you play really good but I managed to expertly sneak through all rooms anyway. You could counter the ammo problem by giving the monsters a higher ammo drop chance once you reach the second half of your ammo. Amazing game nontheless!
Man, this has to be the hardest game I've played so far :D Managed to get through a few rooms but then just kept dying all the time.
Some thoughts: - Absolutely AMAZING art. Has to be my favorite of the jam so far. - The theme is implemented in a really clever way here. Really enjoyed it. - The homing attacks felt a bit too long. I dash away through the entire room and they would still hit me. I don't know if this is fixed in your final version, if it is, nevermind. - When I respawned, I had to click the text box away. While I did that, I got hit already so I effectively started with 80 health. Again, if this is fixed in the final build, no complaints here.
Damn, this was hard! I always get super panicky once I get near the teleporter since I always screw up a few of my jumps and have very little time and jumps left.
Some thoughts: - The soundtrack is really good and fits the game well - The game never feels too hard - Missing a jump by a few pixels just to fall down all the way (for example in level 3) feels a bit unfair, maybe you could make the player bounce a little off the wall for a chance to save the jump

I really enjoyed the graphics, combining pixel art with low poly produces a pretty nice artstyle. The shop system was a good addition even though I felt like movement speed or attacking speed were a bit too expensive. Other than that, my feedback is exactly the same as dougdevs, nothing to add there. Surprisingly fun game!

Man this soundtrack gets you pumped up! Idea is very nice and the artstyle works with it. The game feels a bit too easy though, some of my waves had no enemies and I had no idea what the powerups are doing. It's still super satisfying to punch the enemies into the lava though :D
I liked the minimalistic graphics and the atmospheric music, the gameplay feels a bit too random though. I got the hang eventually and it was funny watching my adventurers go out into the dungeon but I felt a bit lost in the beginning. You could just show the help on startup to fix that though. Overall a solid entry, good job!
Graphics are awesome, voxel based art is always nice. Gameplay can be hectic at times but is enjoyable. The game feels solid except for when the wall collision completely fails. That's a rare thing though. Good entry!

I like the idea of the game and I think it worked very well. The first few levels gave a fantastic introduction to the mechanics. Without explaining anything in text I was able to understand what the different tiles were doing. The difficulty spiked up way too quickly for me though, so I wasn't able to get through the later levels ^^ Good game!
This was awesome! The graphics are really cool and it's very satisfying to mine blocks. The walls closing in give a real sense of pressure and the sounds add to that very well. My strategy was to mine the blocks I needed to open the door and then to mine as many as possible from the safety of the shop room and it worked very well ^^ One of my favorite games so far! Good work!
This was certainly an experience... I somehow managed to cram all cryo chambers into the escape pod without removing the tanks and then the game softlocked when I pressed F on the bridge. The profanity is also a bit too much in my opinion. I really like the models though and the ship design is well planned.

Good game! It's awesome how you really have to think ahead to make sure bigger stars are still able to fuse. It happened to me that I had two white stars blocked by a black hole so I lost. Very good take on the theme, the 3D space works really well.
This is really fun :D The artwork and music is fantastic and the gameplay is simple and intuitive. It's really hard to keep track of your player once the room gets crowded though ^^ Maybe give your player a different colored shirt or something? Great game nonetheless!

Well this was interesting! I actually laughed the first time the boxes just flew out of the back, it was so unexpected. The game itself is pretty nice, simple controls and a clear goal. Sometimes people got angry while walking away with their boxes but nothing too game breaking happened. Good work!

A solid platformer with a good shop system. I got squished sometimes because blocks would just spawn instantaneously. Maybe try to give an indicator where a block will appear next? Other than that, good job!
I initially tried to hit the red balls because I thought I was supposed to, the red lines on the moving wall are pretty hard to spot ^^ This has a pretty nice concept, of course it's a bit short but it's definitely extendable with more obstacles or different game modes. I liked it. Good job!
The graphics are nice and simplistic and the sounds are rudimentary, but fitting. As mentioned already, you can survive forever if you just shoot straight up, but with some tweaking this could be a pretty interesting game!

This is one of those combinations that shouldn't work, but somehow do. Really good concept, combining a bullet hell game with strategy elements is something I haven't seen so far. It plays very nice, the graphics are really nice and the music is good as well. It can get quite confusing once many bullets are on screen, but other than that, the game is really good :)

Really nice expierience! Having to watch out for both extremes on the scale makes for a very interesting game. Having random levels is pretty impressive in LD games and you pulled it off very smoothly. I spawned on spikes a few times, but they don't instantly kill you, so it wasn't really a big deal. I can definitely see this as a full game with a few expansions :D
Interesting idea. I liked that there were fairly few options so the choices were kept simple, but I think the recipes got too long too quickly. Maybe gradually introducing more items to create a better learning curve would be an improvement. Other than that, good game! :D

The idea is really nice. I think it needs to be fleshed out more though. I basically went to every screen, clicked on food and talked to people. I had some money and people but I never knew what the stats meant. Maybe a little instructions page would already be enough to clear some of my questions up. Also... why is everyone called Maddy :D
Damn, this is extremely difficult! I couldn't do more than 12 marbles. The graphics are simple, but good, and the music is very well integrated. Good work :D
I really loved the graphic design in this! It works very nicely and creates a very good atmosphere. The soundtrack was very cool as well. The gameplay was easy to control and incredibly difficult at times. Respawning felt a little weird though. Overall, a very nice game to play for a few rounds :D
Interesting idea. I completely missed that you are supposed to return the nuts to the village ^^ The dodging was nice, the movement was smooth and required some precision. I too encountered the counting bug mentioned by @basecase, which gave me 4 nuts instantly and made the game very easy :D Setting minor glitches aside though, it is a good game :)
It felt nice to move through the level, even though it's a little short. The jumping felt a little weird, but I got used to it pretty quickly. Other than that, it's a solid platformer. Good job! :D
I think it's a good concept, it just feels overwhelming because so many things spawn instantly. Maybe reduce the spawning rate of the asteroids? Other than that, it was a nice arcade-like game :)
This is a very well executed game. Every game feels manageable, but the overall game stays challenging. Constantly switching back and forth between the games is extremely fun and planning ahead to stay alive everywhere is surprisingly difficult. The style and sound are fantastic as well. Very solid and fun game!
Nice one! I really catched myself holding my breath on some occasions. It's really nice that you don't instantly lose once you are detected, I managed to get to my car with some people right behind me twice, which was really satisfying :D Also the transitional news were awesome :D
Movement feels very cool in this game. The way you have to carefully steer the jetpack just to float around is really nice. Of course, there is no real goal (I could make out) so it eventually became stale, but it was fun to harvest for some time. Good entry! :D
Interesting game. The premise definitely works and getting weaker with every life is a nice idea, even though it's technically the exact opposite of the theme ;D The controls were a little too floaty, but it was manageable. I feel like some of the dogs had weird hitboxes and I died from seemingly nothing a few times. But hey, it's your first Ludum Dare, good work nontheless :D
Really well made game! It got really challenging really fast, but never felt impossible or unfair. The mood was good, it fit the theme and I enjoyed playing :D
Nice work! The game had a good pace, never felt overwhelming and had a good flow to it. Shooting enemies felt satisfying and having an online leaderboard gives you a sense of "just one more round". I also liked the seizure warning and the raw JSON leaderboard message ;D
One tiny thing is that I once died because an enemy spawned inside of me, but hey, this is Ludum Dare, no one expects a perfect game ^^ Good job!
A nice little platformer. The graphics were nice, the music added to the mood and the objective was pretty intuitive. I just think dying in one hit is a little too unforgiving. Nontheless, a very solid entry :)
Awesome game! Fits the theme, never got too challenging too fast and when I died, it felt like my own fault. It didn't really demotivate me though because seeing a massive car crash is satisfying as well :D I think the music doesn't really fit the game, but that's just a minor thing.

Wow. Just... the presentation, the soundscape, the design, the gameplay... this game feels really nice. It feels extremely satisfying to deploy the antibodies. Also, I am pretty bad at this game ^^
Good idea! I liked the concept, the controls felt floaty, but responsive and the goal was clearly designed. However, the virus kept popping up where I had cleared it away already and that kind of felt unfair. The different attack mechanisms were really cool though :D
This is really cool! I like how nothing is explained and it slowly dawns on you that the tiles get bigger. It adds a nice twist to tetris. Graphics were simple, but worked. Animations for line clears would have helped, but I didn't think that the way it is made it that much harder. Good work :D

I liked the overall presentation, the music was good and the artstyle fit the game. The only little complaint I have is that after using all my flashes, searching for the exit became a rather mundane task. But other than that, very good work :D
Definitely the best game I have played so far. The atmosphere is just fantastic, the sound and graphics go together very nicely and the gameplay is simple, but fun. Respect :D

Definitely a nice concept! My record was 9 before my balloon became too heavy to rise in time. Then I almost had a heart attack when I exploded :D I had some gold spawn in walls, but other than that, nice work.

Awesome game! I liked how you had those subtle hints of what the next gimmick would be. The music was really nice as well, maybe a little bit unfitting, but still good to listen to. I can't really say things that bothered me, maybe the jumping felt a little bit clunky, but that didn't annoy me that much. Best entry I played so far!
Nice entry! I really enjoyed playing this, it has a very good learning curve and the controls are intuitive. The boss is pretty easy once you figure out the pattern, but thats not meant as a negative thing. Good job!

Well, the graphics were nice and the result is quite impressive given the fact that you are 10, I certainly was not able to do something similar when I was. There is one flaw though: I had no idea what to do, to be honest. I pressed one of the buttons on the floor and once got a basketball which I threw against the painting, but in the next round, the same button gave me a game over. It's a little confusing.
Nice game! Had a consistent artstyle, the fonts were fitting and the gameplay is pretty funny. It eventually gets repetitive, though. I also encountered a crash, I think it is triggered by hitting two enemies with one shot, although I am not sure.
It works well, does not crash, the gameplay is intuitive and easy to learn, but it gets repetitive pretty fast. I would recommend to have some more enemy types next time.
Nice game with well made graphics and an interesting story. I really liked that the item combining was automated, saves you the trouble of combining everything with everything if you get stuck. Well done!
Nice little concept! I think with a story and more puzzles, this could become a very interesting game! I wasn't able to complete the flute puzzle (I don't even know if it has a solution :D), but one of the buttons kept changing color when I stepped on it, so I was really determined to find a solution. But everything else has been said before me. The graphic style was really nice and consistent, the animations were simple, yet clear and the wind howling in the background really created a nice atmosphere. So maybe keep working on it and it might become an awesome game, a spark is definitely there!

Anyways, after convincing my computer that your game was not gonna set it on fire, I was able to play it. I really like the graphics, simplistic, yet good. The music didn't loop properly as you said, but other than that, its well done. Gameplay was simple and tended to get repetitive eventually, but could easily be expanded, so potential is there! Overall a very good game, especially for your first Ludum Dare. Good job!
Really nice concept! Gets really challenging after a while. As stated, you can kind of cheat by building the tower on one side, but that's no issue for me. I really loved the statistics in the game over screen, always a nice thing to read. Good work!

Damn this was fantastic! Really nice game concept, very intuitive mechanics, the art is fantastic, the music is fitting. I would like some more feedback on successfully watering the whale though, the first few times I was unsure whether the water actually did anything. Maybe make the player press a button to use the water. Other than that, awesome job :D

I liked the concept of tracking two things at all time. The items make sense and explain themselves.
However, sometimes the enemies come from angles where it's impossible to defend the snail in time. Other than that, it's a really nice game.
