The idea is really nice. I think it needs to be fleshed out more though. I basically went to every screen, clicked on food and talked to people. I had some money and people but I never knew what the stats meant. Maybe a little instructions page would already be enough to clear some of my questions up. Also... why is everyone called Maddy :D
@Syrapt0r thanks for the feedback. I really wanted to dedicate more time to my game this LD, but external life things seemed to get in the way. 4 hours before the end of the Jam, and I didn't even have a game to submit haha. I plan to keep working on it and release a post-Jam version if people want to have a look.
Interesting concept! I liked that the timer got increasingly larger as you ran out of time, it was a nice touch that put some serious pressure on. I dunno if it was a bug or not, but for me all anyone wanted was money, and I couldn't get them to join me as I just kept finding food and houses.

I like how the music changes the nearer the asteroid is. I had 7.00000004 food once you should maybe clean that up :)
