Really wonderful idea - about halfway through the first level I thought to myself "it would be really cool if we were forced to pick one of our abilities to sacrifice" and you did exactly that. Loved how it afforded different paths an obstacles depending on your choices, and made for a really natural difficulty curb.
I found myself getting stunlocked quite a bit- the very last hallway was especially hard to get through, but it did make me reflect pretty heavily on everything I had sacrificed that was making it so hard. But overall, a really innovative concept executed really well.
nice game!
Super game! One of the best I've played so far. The ADSpaceClick was a bit awkward; W as jump would be great. I really loved the intro and all the mechanics were smooth and crisp. I give it a 9/10, Good Game.

Very cool intro! Impressive amount of different enemies for a compo game as well
Interesting sacrifice. In most game I learn to up powers in combination

I like the idea of the game, but the knockback mechanic makes it become way to difficult way too quickly. If you get hit once you basically die, its kinda frustrating.
Good use of the theme, though. I also liked the intro cinematic.
Good level design for a power sacrificing dynamic.

Really really enjoyed this one, solid feeling core mechanics mixed really nicely with the sacrificial element. Nicely done!
Getting past that last guy was really hard.
Because you can choose what you give up, it makes me want to play again, but with different abilities for each level.

I beat it!
Really liked the mechanics implementation and level design. I dont really think that i could beat if i lost flight before any other, but it seemed clear for me that the attack and flight abilities were the most important.
I think the graphics could be improved and it really lacked sounds and a soundtrack to improve the experience, however for a compo entry its seems reasonable.
Good job for thinking in a mechanic that really captures the feel of the theme and implement it in 48 hours!

Thank you! You are able to beat the whole game if you sacrifice any ability. But flight and attack are both pretty important. I love the Reflex ability most. I had a whole folder of sound effects to put in but sadly ran out of time :(
Congrats on delivering such a well rounded game.

Amazing concept and mechanics, nice job! I can see great potential about the gameplay.
Something to improve: the game might be too hard after giving up some abilities (for me). I wish a "simple mode" with save points. Sound effects can make the game better.
Very nice concept! I completed a pacifist run :)

This game is really good! Lots of content and polished mechanics. I really liked how the different enemy types made you move and play in different ways. It meant you could combine them together to create lots of different scenarios. Also it's super cool how you can sacrifice abilities in any order and still finish every level, that must have been a pain in the ass to design :p. One problem I did have is sometimes a key would "stick on" but I don't know if this is a bug or my shitty keyboard lol. Better graphics and audio would have added a bit more polish. Really good job overall though!
I loved the intro and the mechanic was great.

Awesome game with a great concept and interesting challenges. The more I learned about the skills I gave up, the less the decision to give them up became easy, which made it very intense at times! Well done!

I really liked the concept of sacrificing your powers as you went on, the story really worked with it. There is a lot of variety to the game because of what order you sacrifice your powers, I chose being maneuverable whereas someone else might choose strength in combat. Wonderful execution of a very neat concept.

That was nice! The different sacrifices were nicely balanced (apart from maybe the time slowing); by the end it was definitely much harder to decide which one to give up. The levels felt a bit on the long side in the beginning, but possibly my experience would've been different if I hadn't held on to flight for so long. The ending was very nice!

Nice concept! The movement works really well, one of the most responsive LD games I've played thus far. It took me a while to figure out the teleport mechanic, but after a while, I rushed through the levels! Nice touch on the health bars above the enemies. Also, the balancing is really good. Not too easy, not too hard. Well done!

i like your game and this lovely machanic
Loved having all the powers! Some sound and music would have really helped, also on the jump mechanic, I would look into some improvements for jump mechanics in general. Like, you should be able to still jump even if you are at the very edge of a platform, I'm not sure how to explain it. Greta respect to the theme!!

I know exactly what you mean! There should be a little delay after falling off an edge where you can still jump. Thanks for the feedback!!

Super cool little platformer, sacrificing your abilities was a cool mechanic. The mechanics were really nice as well making sacrificing them so much harder :D
Good job!
