Nice game. The returner button seems to be a little glitchy, and there could maybe be a sense of overall progress but good for a weekend.

Nice game. The returner button seems to be a little glitchy, and there could maybe be a sense of overall progress but good for a weekend.
Nice game. It took a while to extract the zip because the game seemed to be in it twice. Are you using blender? If so the decimate modifier might be nice on some models. I really liked the artwork, and the whole game was well programmed. Nicely done!
Awesome game! I had a lot of fun.
Good game! The text was quite calming and the general gameplay quite fun. It would be nice to see more directly how your actions affect gameplay. Great job!
Cool game. The art and music are awesome and the mood created is very nice. Some sort of measure of overall progress would be cool but this is a good game.
Nice game! Looking around was a little slow, a bit more speed on that would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, really nice. The graphics were great and quite a calming mood was created overall. Very well done! I use krita as well so it's nice to see another user!
Cool game! I wasn't entirely sure when I'd won as sometimes the next scene loaded without me seeming to exit the room. The arrows-space-mouse combination also was a little awkward: UP as junp would've been really helpful.
I found the artwork really appealing and quite soothing. The audio was helpful but some music would have been really cool. I think this is a really strong entry and I hope you do well!
Wow. This is beautiful: the music was good and the pixels make for a really nice feel. The attack was a little difficult, but super work for a weekend!
This is really nice. Everything looked pretty polished and I enjoyed the graphics. The card-of-your-territory-destroys-everything-else seemed a bit game-breaking. Everything else was really fun.
A more detailed tutorial would be great. There doesn't seem to be too much skill involved also. I did really like the artwork and music, and all the controls seemed quite responsive. Nice one!
Super game! The music's nice and the premise is cool as well. A background would be sweet, and a checkpoint system would be cool as well. Good job!
Great game. The minimalist art style was great and calming. It looked quite professional as well.
This is really cool! I really like the artwork, although the music is a bit annoying. The game is quite responsive but I wish the walk and jump was faster.
Cool game! The jump's not very useful and I would have liked to see more enemies, but awesome for a weekend. Nice music, good idea, great mood, and playable mechanics.
I really liked this game. The graphics are quite appealing and the sound effects were also quite effective. The teleport boots constricted your movement to almost 0 which was quite annoying, so less of a cost there would be cool. Overall, really good game. Very well done!
Heh heh...
Really funny game. I wasn't expecting it to be as funny as it was, so good job on that. Another mechanic might also be nice as frantic-mousing gets tiring fast. I'd like to see this taken further. Good job!
Cool little game. The UI maybe needs some work and the intro dragged on a bit, but this is a nice use of the theme and overall quite smooth. The music really added to the theme.
Nice game! The music was good and it was playable and enjoyable. The UI maybe needs some work and upgrades would be great but super for a weekend.
Cool game. I found you could soak up a hit and plough through all of the enemies but good use of theme. The audio was really anoying but the game overall was very polished and quite enjoyable. Nice one!
This is a cool game. The continue buttons gave it a bit of personality. The music maybe could be more exciting, and more choices would be great. Good job!
The game won't load ):
Good game! The concept was great and the combat was quite crisp and responsive. An indication of general suspicion would be helpful and lives would also be cool, but overall a nice solid game.
Cool game! There's a couple of bugs, eg. dying doesn't work for me, and if the walk function was faster that would also help. I loved the exploration feel. Really good game.
Super game! One of the best I've played so far. The ADSpaceClick was a bit awkward; W as jump would be great. I really loved the intro and all the mechanics were smooth and crisp. I give it a 9/10, Good Game.
@mosaic sorry to hear that. Is it a Windows firewall blue thing? If so, you have to click on the "more info" and then "run anyway". If not, could you describe the error? Thanks for your help!
@mosaic @vilix64 @morriss @anfaas1618 Thanks for your comments everyone!
@mosaic I've changed the download so it should work now. Thanks for pointing that out.
@badosz Thank you!
@bananamellow Thanks, I completely missed that! I'll have to fix that if I ever make a post jam.
@sigton Yep, I've never been very good with polish and I think sound effects are the way to go. Thanks for your feedback!
@angelnm Thanks for your feedback. I really appreciate it :)
@furtive-pygmy Thanks very much. I think an expand-on-hover would have worked quite nicely but I didn't have time to implement it. Thank you!
@johnnyginard Thank you!
@erasmus-crowley Thanks! That might be the nicest and most helpful comment I've got ever. I wasn't going to make a post-jam version, but think I might consider it now. Thanks for the feedback! :smiley:
@danny-sun Thanks for the feedback! :v:
@artur-hawking Thank you very much! I think sound effects would be really cool, and I'd like to add some particle physics as well. I've been thinking about making a post-jam and I'd like to limit the positive effects to only bullets and health. Thanks for the feedback, and I'm glad you liked the music. :smiley:
@codesity @thkara
Thank you very much. It's really great to read this.
@aortega Thanks for the feedback! I think that I probably took on too much for this LD and that is why the game is so buggy. I will make a post-jam version, so will keep your feedback in mind. Thanks again! :smiley:
@phillserrazina Sorry for locking you in a room :smirk:. I never got round to fixing that. Thanks for the kind words! :blowfish:
@grena
Thank you! Super useful feedback. I'm going to make a post-jam and will make sure to include the following.
- Fix all bugs. - Cards expand on hover. This also makes text appear stating it's use. - Positive cards are only bullets and health. Cards are collectable and decks can be changed. - Buggy graphics (pixelly) will be fixed. (I had the max size setting too high).
Thanks for the feedback! :thumbsup: :smiley:
@mosaic Thanks for the feedback and thanks for coming back! :smiley: @toulou Thank you! I'm working on a completed version at the moment. :slight_smile:
Really cool! Amazing graphics and I though the controls were cool as well. This is certainly one of the best games I've played this LD. Every worked great; I did find one bug: I turned invisible for the rest of the game after level 2. I couldn't later replicate, however :(
If anything, a checkpoints system would be cool. Awesome work!
One of the best game I've seen so far. Awesome learning curve as well. Well done!
The text is a bit slow, but the graphics are outstanding! I suggest changing your cover image to a screenshot to increase traffic. Good job!
It would be really great if you could take your source code out of the original windows zip, because it takes a long time to extract the file.
This was actually a really good game. The artwork was a little sparse, but everything else was awesome! Great work! I finished with 80 deaths which I imagine is awful. :)
Nice Game! There didn't seem to be much strategy involved but the mechanics seemed quite polished, and the music was relaxing without being annoying. Good job.
Nice. The learning curve was good and the minimalistic style was quite appealing. It was very well done.
This is an awesome idea, and it was excecuted really well. Nice Job.
Awesome game! I had a lot of fun! The only reservation I had was that it got tiresome repeatedly mashing the arrow keys. Maybe something mapped to the scroll buttons on a mouse would be worth exploring?
Awesome submission!
Really awesome game! I could see this being published!
I did get softlocked once, when I froze the red dots but didn't have an iron ingot in the bottom left.
Overall great game, awesome art and fluid mechanics. Well done!
Nice game! I really liked the idea of controlling time, the graphics were awesome and the gameplay felt smooth. Good job!
This was great fun! I don't think there was much skill involved but I would be more than happy to play this as a phone game. Well done!
Nice Game! It actually was quite fun to play, and the camera control was very smooth.
If anything, it would be great if you could shoot a bit faster.
But awesome game. Well Done!
Once I got to the first level, it was quite a lot more fun. So it might be worth making the first level shorter.
Great Game!
@chawls-v Thank you!
@anderssonkev Hi, Click the rotating image to spend deaths in the shop. It won't work unless you have enough deaths(top left). Thanks for playing!
@alourenco Thanks! If I ever make a post jam I will try and fix that!
@sefrz Thank you. That's some really helpful feedback. We will definitely do that next time!
@pincushion Thanks for the feedback! We did mean it to be a little frustating but maybe we went overboard!
@sefrz @pincushion @alourenco @anderssonkev @chawls-v
Hello! I was able to change the movement speed. And jump speed before the deadline! Thanks for your feedback!
@pseudobytes @nettaigyo
Thanks for the kind words!
@edevjogos Thanks! I'll take that on board.
@sarahneko @mutt
Thanks for the awesome feedback! It's great to read it!
@xeke-death Thanks! I think the difficulty was a bit hard, especially for the first level! For respawning, I just scattered loads of invisible spawn points around the place.
@neowedge Thanks! I'll take that on board!
@red Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the difficulty curve is way too steep!
@duke Thanks! That's some really great feedback. :smile:
@enjoy-the-tale Thank you very much. I'm glad you liked it!
@maoap Thanks for the feedback. The costume just changes the colour of the sprite which I agree is a little disappointing. :smirk: Thanks!
@drskort Thanks for the feedback. That's really useful and I agree with everything you've said. Thanks for the help! :smiley:
@johnnysix Thanks! Will do.
@puppetmaster Thanks for the awesome feedback! If we ever make a post-jam, I'll definitely think about some sort of map-mechanic. :thumbsup:
If gravity was increased a bit, that would be really cool. Other than that, cool game. Good Job!
You have to give us the full build file (The mono folder, the unity dll, etc.)
Link works
Took me nine minutes! Great game. Had lots of fun!
Great game! I managed to reach the end, but gave up almost everything in progress! I had a great time!
This is a nice little game. The mechanics were reall polished and everything felt smooth. Animations are really good. There are a few issues with jumping and attacking, and the texts were just a tad pixelly. But overall really strong entry!
What an amazing game! Thats pretty insane work for three days. I think the enemies need to start appearing a little later, but everything else was incredible! Well done!
Nice game! I don't know if it's just my computer, but the web version was really slow. So I played it as an exe and really enjoyed it. There are a few collider issues that need to be sorted out, but otherwise I could see this as a commercial game pretty easily.
Great work!
@toc Thank you, very much. The crafting items idea is good, and I agree that that would definitely be useful. Thank you!
@paulo-brunassi I hadn't thought about that before, but I think that's an awesome idea. I'll include that if I ever make a post jam. Thanks for the feedback!
@pokenoufl Thanks very much! I would have really liked to add that but didn't have time. :face_palm: Thanks for the kind words!
@zoarfy Thank you so much for your feedback. The original idea was for the enemies to drop items which give you a visual representation of what they are, but we never got around to finishing it. By the way, this was a jam game.
@simonl Thank you for your kind words. I think some story would be good and I'll include that if I get around to making a post jam.
Thanks so much for commenting, you awesome people!
@lionserge Thanks for the feedback, and I'm glad that you liked that stuff. I think a tutorial is a great idea, and I really need to try and make time for that in the next jam :upside_down:
@weine Thanks for your feedback! Those are some really great points and I'll definitely take them on board. Sorry about the biomes: there are 4, but we might have made it a liitle too difficult. :smirk:
Thanks for the comments. They mean a lot!
@ropedog Thanks for the comment, we're glad you liked it and sorry about the music. I sort of ran out of time and put notes in random places. :smile: Thank you!
@ambra @alphaden @humphreysmedia Thanks for the comments. They're really great to read. We do need to sort out the difficulty of the game, and we'll take that on board for the next jam.
Thank you so much!
@tomcus Thanks for playing! We'll make the music quieter next time. I wasn't aware of the crafting bug, so we'll try and fix that if we make a post-jam. Thank you!
@johnnysix I agree with the scope being too big. We still wanted to add different enemies, better UI, visibly collected items, and checkpoints (which would have fixed the other problem), but didn't have enough time. :face_palm: Thanks for playing!
@enderr42 Thank you for the kind words! We really wanted to get the icons to drop but didn't have time. In all honesty, at the last moment, I realised I hadn't done the crafting to drop, so gave each item a 50% chance to drop. Oops. Thanks for the feedback!
@zuf Thanks for commenting and those are some great suggestions. I hadn't even considered the stats thing before but now it seems really obvious! The enemy variation idea is great as well and we'll try to fit that into a post-jam, if we get round to making one. Thank you very much!
@johnnysix Thanks! will do.
This was a really nice idea! The game could have been a little fleshed and some colour-coding would have helped out, but overall quite a nice game. Well done!
This is really nice! The premise was a little difficult to work out even without a tutorial, but once I worked that out I had quite a bit of fun. If anything, it is a little infuriating that you lose your villagers when you die.
The Graphics are awesome!
It was quite slow on my computer, so I tried to download it as an exe. But it doesn't work because you have to include the entire folder of the build, not just the exe. Nice game nonetheless!
So I think the game doesn't work at the moment because you only put in the exe. For it to work, you need the whole folder (including monobleedingedge, crash handler and data), which is the entire thing you get when you build it.
If you can put it into a zip, it's much quicker to download also.
The game works fine, and the art, mechanics and sound are very nice. Good job!
I didn't really understand what I was meant to be doing. I just tried to shoot in a random direction and then pressed n when I didn't complete the level.
Apart from that, it was really quite polished so well done, especially for a first jam!
You need to set it to public.
That was a really good game! A little short perhaps and I was dreading running out of lives but other than that a brilliant game!
The music was really annoying, but the graphics had a really nice feel to them. Great job!
This was hilarious! The game was super easy to pick up and I wanted to keep playing to get more of the story. Some different outfits for the bobbleheads would have been appreciated, maybe but great game nonetheless!
Very cool game! It was really fun seeing what all the different towers and enemies do and tower defences are a nightmare to code so well done on that! The art is nice also.
I think if you were going to build on this:
- An updated UI would also be cool, maybe with some custom images for buttons
- The difficulty is probably too high at the start, and it would be better if you generated money automatically (like the suns in pvz) because if you lose your towers you're basically dead.
- I think the color scheme could be improved somewhat. The green and brown don't look awesome together.
Overall really awesome game. I have no idea how you managed to make this in 3 days, it would take me about a month. :laughing: :ok_hand:
Cool game! The art's very nice and the game's quite fun to play. You could have maybe added in a few more conditions because the game was very short to play. But, good job!
Very nice game! The music is lovely, and the game itself is beautifully innovative. I think some of the things could have happened quicker, like sand more just floated down then fell. But otherwise really great game. I urge you to make a post-jam!
This was utterly beautiful. Everything runs so smooth, I didn't encounter a single bug: It was flawless.
I think it would have been cool if there was some sort of campaign, just so we can gauge our skill level but other than that, this is a shockingly brilliant game. :clap:
A quick note: I couldn't get this to run in chrome, I had to run it in microsoft edge.
I'm not sure if it's my computer, but It says 'A Java Exception has occurred' when I try and open it. :cry:
Cool game! The graphics were dope and it wa generally quite innovative. The game runs really slow on my browser so I would've liked a downloadable exe and up, down, left, right is a weird ordering for the arrows.
But otherwise, good entry. :thumbsup:
Very good game! It's very fun to play, and I can definitely see this becoming a fleshed out story game. One thing that confused me is that the colliders of the tree (before you cut them down) are the full tree, when since it's isometric, they should really be just the trunk. And I agree with bluepin, some particles would be nice.
Well done!
@trko @pulkit-garg @n-o-games @mehrdadsh @bakob @thegamegoyal @majk-fl @generalsturgeon @bearwey @scottthoo @martintale @sirsnowy7
Thanks so much for commenting everyone!
It's really great to read your kind words. I put the keys in weird places to make it more difficult but I think I maybe understimated how difficult it was to play. :upside_down:
Thank you!
@ironygames Hahaha! Thanks for the feedback! :smiley:
@camcam Yeah, I think I definintely should've made the tutorial slower. Thank you! And I'm glad you liked the sound :)
Brilliant idea, even better execution. The game is really fun to play and all the mechanics are wonderfully smooth. The art is good too.
A few things:
- Checkpoints would be good. - The art maybe needs some fleshing out. I think that even a parallax background or some sort of constantly scrolling cloud system would've looked awesome. - It's probably because I have a pathetic attention span but it would've been nice if the water bar increased a lot faster when you were in the water.
Great entry! :smiley:
This was awesome! The art was beautiful, the gameplay was really smooth, and it was really fun!
Great job!
One thing I would say is that the enemies come so quick that there isn't even much point trying to kill the white ones so I'd end up being followed by a conga line of skull minions. :smile: I managed to survive for 38 seconds.
Awesome art! And a very fun take on the farming theme, I could honestly see this becoming part of a full-length story game. A tutorial would've been nice sure but those take ages to make so honestly I can't really fault this.
10/10: would plant fictional food to feed a vampire again. :ok_hand:
This was a really cool game! The controls were beautifully smooth and it was really satisfying to go around collecting coins. Combat was very difficult (but you know that) and I think it could maybe work if you increased the range of the weapon and gave the enemies one life.
And I really appreciate the addition of a pause menu, I know how difficult those are to add :)
Great entry!
This is a cool game, the arts really nice and the music is good without being repetitive. I liked the character animation and it was also really nice how the background lit up. WE NEED CHECKPOINTS! :sweat_smile: I ended up going back to the beginning like 20 times.
Well Done!
Very nice! Everything worked perfectly and all the art was quite soothing. One thing was that it was difficult to tell which rocks were coming for you, and which you'd already hit. Maybe a color change once you hit a rock, would be nice. Anyway, it was a great entry! :clap:
Fun Little Game! The art was nice and the music was very good. The game was a little slow at first, but once I worked out you could press shift to sprint, it was a lot easier. The game could do with some more levels as well.
Very cool! :sunglasses:
Awesome game! The art was stunning and all the controls were really smooth. I had a lot of fun with this one. I think the game could really benefit from some particle effects, and maybe the difficulty could be decreased a little since I got bombarded by enemies after a few minutes.
Honestly though, this was hilarious. You guys are a credit to society. :clap:
Wow! This game is crazy good for a 15 year old! The graphics were great and the game was very fun to play.
There are a few things:
- Sometimes it was difficult to see which square some of the items and blocks were on. On Unity I find it really helpful to turn on snap settings and that lets you move all items into exactly the right place if you hold control while dragging them.
- It was difficult getting used to the wasd keys to move because of the isometric view. Maybe just put an icon for each key on the wall of the corresponding key?
- I agree with @rodrigo-denubila since we're downloading so many games, it's a lot easier if you just get all the unity files and put it in a zip folder. We know how to open the exe and it means we can delete all the stuff from our downloads folder once we've rated.
Overall, this was a really good entry and I can see this as a web game too with some polish. I'm a teenager too so it's really nice to see others. :smile:
Yeah, so you know had the pictures of memes on the walls. If you also had pictures of the W A S D keys, on the correct walls. Therefore, if you pressed w, you'd know that you'll be about to move towards the 'W' wall.
Ok, there's no death condition and the jump is too slow and floaty (turn up gravity in the project settings), but the graphics are good, the music is surprisingly unfrustrating for a 2 second soundbite, and the animations are really nice as well: It's great to see everyone jumping around.
Nice one! :clap:
Wow.
This was insane! This is the sort of thing that would take a team of devs 3 months :laughing: Even the menu was great. The puzzles were good (although maybe you could add some mechanics to mix things up if you make a post-jam), it was very funny to read the messages and the animations fitted the game perfectly.
I usually try and say a thing to improve but I honestly can't think of any. Amazing entry! :clap:
This was great! I loved all the animations, and the bizarre mood of this game was very enjoyable. I think you could expand this into a level-based game since the controls were very smooth. Nice one!
Good game for a first jam! There are a few points:
- Your text is very blurry. This is a bit difficult to fix, but it's all about the size of the text in unity. If our font is blurry, increase the font size and decrease the scale of the font. If it's pixelly, decrease the font size and increase the scale of the font. You have to get the right balance to make it look good.
- If you use graphics which you didn't create in the two days (e.g- from google images), remember to opt out of the graphics category.
- The second level went on for a bit too long, I wasn't sure if it was going to stop :smile:
Good attempt! I wish you good health also :thumbsup:
