Not bad! I like the graphics and the music a lot. I think that the actual combat mechanics could use some work. You have to be really close to enemies to actually hit them.

Good gameplay, nice graphics, interesting upgrade system. I do have a few criticisms:
* The washed-out color of the player character makes it quite hard to see him against the gray background. This might be remedied by... * Fullscreen mode! On a high resolution monitor the window size is really small and can't be resized. * As mentioned by others, you are meant to make *everything* by yourself for the compo, so I will deduct a point for using someone else's audio.
Still, a solid, well-polished little action game.
Great graphics. It's a shame there isn't a whole lot of gameplay.
Very interesting game, totally unique. Really great graphics too. One criticism might be that it is very difficult to get the hang of - a more in-depth tutorial would go a long way!
A nice little take on the FTL style game. Nice graphics, fun gameplay, good music - it's hard to think of any constructive criticism for this one. Good work!
Game wouldn't start for me on Windows. Just gave me a command prompt with the following messages: ``` registered collider for entity 2 registered collider for entity 21 registered collider for entity 22 registered collider for entity 23 registered collider for entity 24 registered collider for entity 25 registered collider for entity 26 registered collider for entity 27 registered collider for entity 28 registered collider for entity 29 registered collider for entity 30 registered collider for entity 31 registered collider for entity 32 registered collider for entity 33 registered collider for entity 34 registered collider for entity 35 registered collider for entity 36 registered collider for entity 37 registered collider for entity 38 registered collider for entity 39 registered collider for entity 40 [WARN][amethyst_renderer::pass::flat2d::interleaved] Texture not loaded for texture: `Handle { id: 8 }`. I fun little game. I thought the transfusion and explosion abilities were really cool - genuinely original. The graphics are nice enough, although the fact that the background, the player and many of the enemies are some shade of gray makes it a little dull. There are some balance issues - I feel like the sword is never worth using because it doesn't do enough damage to be worth the risk of getting close to enemies that can attack so quickly. Also, the viewport feels very small thus everything gets crowded really quickly.
In spite of all that, I really liked the game! Good work.
Art is great. What little story there is presents some interesting ideas, although obviously none of them are really explored. I thought the reference to Orwell was a bit ham-fisted. A good effort though, and it's always nice to see someone trying something different.
Really cool game. Love the graphics and the surreal feeling of it all. Music is great too!
I kept getting caught on the corners! Cool atmosphere though - kind of reminds me of *The Running Man* for some reason :)
Really cool style and thematic idea, however the gameplay seems broken. I just kept spamming the space bar and I managed to win no problem.
I really enjoyed this. Found it quite hard at first but I'm glad I stuck in there :) Obviously the graphics could use some work, but the mechanics are interesting.
Definitely one of the most polished and complete games I've played so far in LD44. A few technical things that could be improved: * *Please* don't make me install. It's such a pain. It should just be an exe that runs when you click it. * Fullscreen mode please! * I found some of the fonts were too small.
Anyway, great work!
Excellent graphics and nicely polished presentation. I found the platforming physics to be a bit too floaty for my taste, but fun none-the-less. My main criticism would be that it doesn't really relate to the theme. Definitely a good job though!
I really like the particle effects and the money ball looks pretty awesome too. The gameplay is fun but gets a bit samey after while. Good work :)
Strangely intriguing. The surveys are very entertaining, wish there were more to be honest!
I typically don't like mouse avoider games because they are so basic, but the teleport mechanic actually made it quite fun. The graphics are a bit too basic, although I did like the particle trail. Not a bad effort :)
I can't seem to move right. Is that intentional? I'm using Google Chrome.
@maniae Still no luck, and didn't work on Firefox either. I think it must be something about my laptop. I'll try it on my desktop later
@maniae I managed to get it working on my desktop. Very fun game! I also really like the boss sprite. One question - is it possible to win the game, or does it go on for ever?
Looks really pretty and the atmosphere is great, but the gameplay didn't really do it for me. The camera seems to stutter a lot as well. Good effort though!
Decent graphic style. Nice audio. The gameplay is a bit basic and the random generator is pretty bad: one time the key and the exit were on the exact same screen as where I started. Also, it is quite easy to just ignore the enemies completely and get through the levels.
I really enjoyed it. It does seem a little bit unfair that the weapon drawing is completely randomised - once you have a high damage weapon there is no good reason to draw again. Good job though!
A very entertaining take on Sokoban-style puzzle games! One criticism I might give is that it is hard to take the dark and brooding music seriously when you are playing as a blue square with eyes :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Pretty cool game. Music and graphics were great. Puzzles were okay, although they were mostly very easy. I'm not really sure what the game was trying to say - it was clearly going for some kind of artistic message but I don't think it really hit the mark on that front.
Really like the graphics and atmosphere. The gameplay itself was fairly fun, although I think that the wall eater is underpowered. Also, a fullscreen mode would have been nice!
Really nice retro graphics and sound effects. Great atmosphere. Although for such a small game with simple graphics, I am shocked out how big the download is :O
Balance needs work. I was able to win very easily without any power ups. The player and enemy sprites look quite nice, but the background of the level is bland and so samey that it is hard to tell where you are. The gameplay itself is okay, but nothing special. A decent effort.
