The .exe doesn't do anything for me, sadly.

@cozmic: I've just retest it and have some friends test it also. It seems to work for them. Just in case you need to download all the archive (the exe and all dlls). You should have a download button a the top right.

Nice concept and good execution. Great job!

Using the .love project file did work for me, but the .exe version still does not work, even after redownloading it. I had all the files. Onto the game: It's nice, but I think the artstyle needs a bit more coherency.. ssome sprites are quite minimalistic, which in itself can be nice, and some use a lot of "scattered" pixels, which feels incoherent to me.

Nice game, the controls and gameplay are nice, there's a sense of progression through the game. The music is cool, and it's good to have some sound effects and feedback. Congrats for your entry !

This is the most well balanced game I have played so far. Once I fully understood the mechanics, it was still a challenge to complete, but far from impossible. I would suggest making the speed upgrade better though, I didn't really notice a change in anything except for the win condition.

Hey there!

Just a heads up, using someone else's music/sound effects isn't really allowed in the compo; this should probably be submitted to the jam instead.

It looks pretty interesting though; I'll definitely give it a shot if you swap it to a jam game!

Good gameplay, nice graphics, interesting upgrade system. I do have a few criticisms:

* The washed-out color of the player character makes it quite hard to see him against the gray background. This might be remedied by... * Fullscreen mode! On a high resolution monitor the window size is really small and can't be resized. * As mentioned by others, you are meant to make *everything* by yourself for the compo, so I will deduct a point for using someone else's audio.

Still, a solid, well-polished little action game.

@cppchriscpp @seb-jones OK I though it was ok as long as you didn't ask to be rated on that. It pains me a little to change to jam just for the music... but well OK I will try to do it.

*edit: it doesn't seems to be possible*

Fab little game. The art work is superb for a 48 hour game. Spot on with the theme and enemy life being currency. Congrats 🙌

Love the UI and art. It was a nice bit of detail that the houses got crushed slowly if i tried to commit property damage.

Wow man, this game is insane! I love the rock music and the intense action from the start. It gets you right into it, yet it is not too hard - great balance!

The graphics are awesome, nice job. Everything looks coherent, nothing feels out of place.

The movement of the enemies is simple, they come right at you. This is however not a deal breaker, it makes them predictable, it is a game after all, and you put the right amount of enemies in the right places. The increased number makes up for the easy difficulty level of killing them.

Great job, looking forward to your future LD entries!
